"*cough* Y-you guys said someone saved me? Who was it? Let me thank him or her ..." I tried to get an answer with my now hoarse voice.

"Well, that ... *cough*" I heard Old Xia mumble so I used my divine sense in his direction to see why he stopped. I saw him look towards my direction with eyes of pity. I shivered.

"Ack, guess someone's got to tell him. Let this handsome man do it. Well, buddy. I've really gotta give it to you. I really believe you got locked here not for secrets now. I don't know how badly you must have offended that dog emperor because it seems that he wants you to live a life worst than death. The one who saved you is the dog emperor who activated the herbal mechanism. The last sentence I clearly heard before the lightning struck was an unanimous "Man, that dog emperor must really hate you ..."

*zap* *zap* I watch as the residue lightning vanished from my body. After one month of daily playing with the lightning, I have finally became friends with it so that it won't beat me into unconsciousness anymore half a month ago. So, yeah basically my body's grown strong enough such that I don't pass out anymore, instead I simply suffer through the entire process, awake. Lovely.

But at least there's some good news. First, my injuries are pretty much healed up except from the weakening from the recent episode of playing with my lightning buddy. This is due to the perk I received after raising the {Divine Blood Rebirth} to level 10.

Second great news is that I have finally managed to circulate my Qi enough to break my seal. Except the bad news is that if I do, that self proclaimed rival of mines would challenge me and my real cultivation would be revealed if I were to fight him. That would be another death sentence, especially since these fellows actually "envy" my daily "special" treatment. Like seriously, envy my a**. But no choice, I need my cultivation to be able to escape from this prison.

If I get my Qi back, I can spawn a clone to go explore the maze for me, and maybe I will be able to find a way out. Although I want to spawn many clones to explore, but if I do, it would be hard to sneak them past these old things without them noticing. Then, my secret would be exposed, and they might force me to reveal the technique, except that I can't because I don't actually know it seeing how it was an ability I directly receive through absorbing in slime form. I just know that with a thought the clone spawns to my liking, nothing else. If I don't give it to them, they will f*** me up probably.

So, no choice but to make one clone that has enough Qi to use {Ghost Emperor's Voyage} to sneak into the maze. I absorbed the last amount of external Qi needed and circulated it in my body to break the seal. *cling* I heard a distant sounding sound that rung in my mind. Then, my cultivation was restored. My usable Qi quickly recovered with the residue Qi from the broken seal. I immediately spawned my clone with all 300 of my usable Qi before any of the old things looked my way after sensing my unsealing. The clone immediately used {Ghost Emperor's Voyage} and void form to escape the cell, into the maze. Mission accomplished. Now, all I gotta do is to play low-key until-

"Oi! My rival, you've finally broken the seal! Time to come out and spar a bit shall we?" Jing'er the Great immediately issued an impossible challenge to me.

How the F*** did he notice so fast?! Is it because I used Qi? Did I just screw myself over?

I stared at those locks on me and wished they never come off, but unfortunately, I've got no excuses now. Time to accept the challenge of death.
