After the weird Incident caused by the C ranked students, The four left the dorm and went to the cafeteria.

“Hey, are the tryouts still going on?” Levi asked as he was able to hear noises coming from the huge dome.

“Yeah, it goes on for a while, at least until school starts.” Leo replied.

They arrived at the entrance of the cafeteria, which were two huge doors that dwarfed them as they entered.

“What?... Is this even considered a cafeteria?” Hector asked astonished at the size of the cafeteria. “Its like a whole city in here… And all of these stores…” Hector continued.

The cafeteria was the bigger than a football field and at every side of it was a store selling some kind of food. The middle of the cafeteria was full of tables and chairs and a few people talking to each other.

“Wait, now I'm hungry, lets eat at that place right there!” Zero said as he pointed at a store named, Seafood Beleza.

“Do you ever make up your mind?” Levi jokingly asked Zero as they walked to Seafood Beleza.

“Hello, how may I help you today?” A pretty girl with long Black hair asked.

“Oh hi...uh… can I have the lobster delight?” Leo asked, while stuttering.

“Yeah… same here…” Levi then added.

The girl’s looks made the four boys unable to think straight. Her eyes pulled them in it was like it was a hypnotic device. But what stuck out the most were the 2 Identical earrings that hung under her ears. They looked like needles and on them were black roses that brought out her glowing purple eyes.

“Uh… I’ll take the Super Salmon please.” Hector said still looking at the earings.

“Hehe… Can I have the same…” Zero said while feeling his chin.

Noticing that the boys were looking at her, she blushed, took their orders and moved to the back.

While they waited, Levi looked around and found a paper that read.

“Hiring new students”, Rank F and D, and under it was a fill out form.

“Hey guys they are hiring, students to work here.” Levi told them.

“Really…? Hehehe Im totally signing up… She is too pretty to not sign up… Hehehe” Zero said with a grin on his face.

The girl approached the balcony again and said. “Your order will be ready shortly.”

“Thanks… Hey are you a student?” Zero asked with a smile.

“...Uh…Yes…” She said still blushing.

“Cool..” Zero then murmured

Breaking the awkward silence, Levi asked.¨Why are they only hiring F and D, students?¨

The girl, thought for a second and answered,¨ I believe its because we can't join the various guilds that are in this academy, we can at least work here.¨

¨Oh… I see… But why are there some D ranking students part of certain guilds?¨ Levi asked once more.

¨Well… There really isn't a rule that don't allow us to join a guild.. The guild leaders just don't like recruiting people in such a low ranking… Specially commoners...¨ She replied looking down

¨We never received your name.¨ Leo asked politely.¨I'm Leo, Thats Levi, Hector and Zero.¨ Leo said pointing at his friends.

¨My name is Dedra Lizelle, I'm a D rank student here in Skylar Academy, its a pleasure to meet you.¨ She says extending her arms out.

¨The pleasure is all m-¨ as Leo was about to shake her hand, he was pushed aside by, Zero who shook her hand instead.

¨Pleasure is all mine!¨ Zero said while shaking her hand.

“Well, I have to go back to work. Come again!” The girl said as the boys waved goodbye and walked away

After she said that Zero then told his three friends,”Hehehe… See that? She wants me to come back… She totally wants me…”

“Dream on buddy” Levi said with a grin.

“Lets go outside, I haven't really gone out there yet, ever since I arrived here.” Leo said as he moved towards the exit followed by his mates.

The four friends walked out into the brilliant outdoors, There were people everywhere, talking, sparring and having fun. Some even had creatures with them.

¨Could those be demons?¨ Hector asked as he, looks at a man with a bird like creature on his shoulders. The creature didn't have feathers, instead it had scales.

¨Those are beast, some are even tameable, but only those worthy are able to tame one.¨ Leo said, also looking at the bird. ¨ Like us and the demons they also have their own rankings, from Normal Beasts to Divine Beasts but that is a talk for another time.¨ Leo said as he continued walking towards a fountain, a huge fountain, where a dragon sculpture looked upwards while instead of letting out flames, it let out water.

The four friends sad down near a fountain outside of the school enjoying the nice weather, and the view.

¨Hey, we should spar and test each other out, we need to know our own strengths and weaknesses, and by sparring we could maybe help each other out ¨ Leo said looking at the others.

¨Sure thing, lets go, You and hector first, and then me and Zero.¨ Levi said

¨Ok, lets do it.¨ Hector said as he and Leo stood up and called out their weapons.

¨Night's Edge.¨

¨Come to me Salvation!¨

Both of the boys said as their weapon appeared.

Hector's weapon appeared like usual. Leo's weapon, also appeared, it seemed like it came from a ring just like Hector's. A shield shield came out of it, from a burst of light. The shield was a Heather shield, with silver outline and white background, it also had a silver cross on the front. The bizarre part was the World hilt on top of the shield.

[PR]: Not sure about some of the descriptive words here (Heather shield, World hilt) at first for the shield i thought leather but then i figured nah.

¨Is that a Sword and a shield or just a shield?¨ Hector thought to himself as he stared at Leo. A wind blew making Leo's golden hair as well as Hector's Black hair flap. People could easily mistake Leo for a noble, while Hector's Unusual black hair could make anyone's mind wonder.

¨I'll Be the judge… Now you may begin!¨ Levi said while he raised his hand marking the beginning of the spar.

¨Hector moved to the usual stance, where his left foot was in front and with both hands he moved Ńight's Edge to his front.

¨I guess I will attack first.¨ Leo said with a smile. His shield was in a position where the shield covered his forearm and the sharp part of the shield, the bottom was sticking out in front of his hand like a weapon itself.

~Step~ Leo quickly jumped towards Hecto holding his shield in front of him. Even though his movement was very quick Hector could see through it all too well. Leo quickly swirled around bringing his shield around with him, trying to slash.

¨Swish!¨ The shield slashed thin air as Hector like a blade of grass moved back as Leo moved Forward.

¨Nice movement.¨ Leo praised Hector, ¨But come at me with full force, Hector.¨ Leo said with a smile.

¨Alright..¨ Hector said, ¨ I guess I'll use my special move.¨

'Shadow Step...' Hector thought to himself as he began to use his move.

His shadow began to move towards Leo. Strangely enough, Leo didn't look worried, instead he held a smile on his face. Leo grabbed his shield with two hands and threw his shield up saying.

¨Holy Protector!¨

A nearly transparent light blue dome surrounded his body, and his shield floated around him. As Hector's shadow disappeared in front of Leo, His true body appeared behind him.

¨Clang!¨ Night's Edge struck Leo's Dome.

'What a defence...' Hector thought as he moved back.

¨What a scary move… If I hadn't used my full power my Holy Protector would have shattered...¨ Leo thought to himself.

People surrounded them both watching with wide eyes and words where whispered.

¨What ranking are they?¨

¨Are they a high ranking?¨

¨Wow, what movements are those?.¨

Facing each other once more, Leo and Hector had smiles on their faces.

¨You are a good opponent.¨ Leo said

¨You too.¨ Hector said when suddenly, Pain surged around his body,¨What is going on?¨He asked himself as pain began, flowing through his body even worse. He felt weak, he could barely hold himself up.

¨Dude are you ok?¨ Levi asked.

Hector's Vision began to blur, Nights edge went back to it's ring form and Hector collapsed.

In the forests, near Buseth.

Facing Rodrick with eyes wide William stared and the Archmage unbelieving, there was no way.

¨Sir, he is lying there is no way he could be an Archmage.¨ A tall man with orangish hair spoke to William.

¨Pray tell¨ William said still looking at Rodrick.

¨If he was an Archmage we would've been able to know his whereabouts from the beginning. There is no way an Archmage could move around undetected, and Archmages never sided with either Demons or Humans so why is he with the demons?¨ The man said

Silence filled the air.

With a smirk on his face Rodrick said,¨Well… I've been trying my best not to get noticed by carrying people here and there, I stayed in that town for a some months actually. As for these demons they are not with me… I was in the middle of carrying people when these demons appeared with these crates… It seems like they were carrying people to their nearest base… Or maybe coming for more... As you should know, these are slave trader demons who enjoy selling humans. After seeing me they tried to attack me but since when are these guys a match for an Archmage, hehehe... afterwards they began to follow me thinking I would make their enemies hide in fear.¨ Rodrick said laughing.

The demons behind him began to look at each other.

¨Then prove you are an Archmage...¨ William said.

¨Hehe… good thing you asked, I have created a lot of special weapons you know… and some of these guys behind you possess some of them… Let me show you something.¨

The Archmage closed his eyes and golden light surrounded him. The troops behind William fell to their knees as they felt pain all over their body but being high ranking soldiers they were able to take the pain.

While opening his eyes, Rodrick said, ¨See? Now excuse me I have a client to pick up.¨

Rodrick jumped back to his carriage and began to stroll pass the knights without even looking back, the demons stayed in place knowing what would happen next.

¨Sir should we really let him go like that? He would be of great benefit to out kingdom.¨The man with orange hair said.

¨Even if we wanted to stop him we coudn't.¨ William said as he turned his gaze from Rodrick to The demons.¨

¨Lets deal with these guys and save the town. Now charge!!!!¨ William screamed as he let his troops do the work.

After a few minutes the Demons were killed quite easly. William and the man with orange hair walked up to one of the crates and openned the doors. Nothing there.

¨Those bastards… They already took them to their base…. They only came back for more...¨ William said with a worried look.
