Present...
Felix was still in a dizzy state and He still didn't wish to live.
"It seems that today is not the day of depart from this world. " Felix sighed as he continued, "I think it's the time change the way I live. I never really wanted to cultivate but things have to change... "
Brushing off the dust from his clothes, Felix raised his head and lost in his thoughts...
"I guess I should climb back and think about my future..."
Even with a tiny body of his, Felix was able to climb at a constant speed. It was abnormal for a boy of his age to achieve that. Felix's steps and precision was similar to any of the professional mountain climbers. The only possible reason behind it can be multiple suicide attempts.
[ Author's Note: Thug Life chose Felix]
In 5 minutes or so, Felix finished his climb. There was no sign of tiredness on Felix's face. It was still the same face which was filled with sadness.
It's a pity, for such a handsome alpha male to suffer like this. Even with the current appearance, winning a maiden's heart should be an easy task but sadly, everyone despises the current Felix.
The background of an Individual is really important, Isn't it? Sad life...
Standing at the edge of the canyon, Felix was feeling conflicted...
"Should I try to suicide again or cultivate... but I think I cannot die just by jumping off a cliff. So, becoming strong enough is my only option. There is only one problem with that option, I don't know how to cultivate!!!
Grandma never taught me anything related to cultivation. Well, she did try to teach me but I denied it every time. I'm so useless... whatever, I'll just eat something then think"

Few steps away from the canyon was a house made up of clay and stone with a thatched roof.
The house was not well maintained as there were few holes in the roof and multiple cracks in the wall.
Getting inside the house, Felix went for a quick bath, similar to Crow's bath. Even that being the case, Felix's appearance was enhanced to the next level.
"Grandma did teach me about the outer world where cultivators lived. If I want to cultivate, I have to wait for the 'cultivators' who come to the village every month. Hmm...I can request them to take me along.
Ohh...I remember something, Grandma told me to unlock that particular box If I ever decide to cultivate. I think I should open it. "
After running inside the house for a while, Felix found the box. It was black in color and the material used to make that box must be wood. There was a simple handle lock to secure the box. Pretty unique box, It must be worth more than the entire house...
"Let see what is inside the box."
Felix easily unlocked the box by sliding the handle. Inside of the box was red in color. There were a total of four things inside the box.
There was a ring, a letter, and two books.
Felix Instincts kicked in and he decided to see the content of the letter. He started to read it loud,
"My Beloved Child,
I think you also know about the fact that I'm not your grandma. When you were just a few days old, your mother left you at my doorsteps. I was mad about that fact that she left an infant-like you. I really wanted to stop her and beat the living life out of her. When I was about to do open my door, I heard your mother crying, She was really sad.

So, I stood behind the door and heard her talk to you. For what she said, you have demon bloodline.
From what I could see, your mother's condition was really bad if not the worst. If I'm assuming right, she must have faced some kind of difficulty during your birth. After seeing for one last time, she disappeared.
After your mother left, I picked you and started to raise you like a normal child. There were a lot of instances where you lost your sanity and attacked me. If I was a normal human being, I would have died for 100 times, to say the least, but I'm also abnormal, Just like you. That said, raising you was truly painful.
For full six years, this act of losing sanity persisted. You were one scary child...but I still love you the most.
When you about reached the age of six, you suddenly disappeared. I searched everywhere for you. I almost destroyed the whole village.
Night time, when I was in the house, worrying about you, I heard hollows. They were coming from the inner parts of the forest.
I still don't know why I chose to find the reason behind those hollows.
When I came to the place where the hollows came from, I saw a pile of dead savage beasts. On top of the pile, someone was sitting on it. It was almost like the pile of dead bodies were being used as a throne.
After paying more attention, I saw something which was even weird for me.
Black matter along with blood was getting absorbed by that individual. It was truly horrifying.
Slowly, the pile of dead beast started to reduce and ultimately, it was gone. It was then I heard something which I would never forget in my life.
"How are you, G.R.A.N.D.M.A?" The tone used to say these words were comical but for me, they were frightening. Even the brave me started to shiver.
It was you, Felix...the evil side of you.

Bone Dungeon: Book 1 in the Elemental Dungeon Series
Ryan doesn't remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church -- something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head. But Ryan quickly learns being a darkness dungeon isn't all loot and bone puns. With a necromancer on the rise and the Adventurer's Guild watching his every move, he must prove that not all darkness dungeons are malevolent... even if they do have a few skeletons in their caverns. Sadly, all of these issues keep distracting him from his own guilty pleasure, skeletal fight club. But don't tell his fairy about that. **** I have recieved permission from the publisher to share the first 8 chatpers of the story, as a sample (I am the author of this book) **** If you like what you've read, feel free to hop over to Amazon and check out the full story! Mystic Nan
Note: Currently undergoing rewrite, we'll be back soon!(If you enjoy this story, it would help immensely if you considered voting for it at topwebfiction, thank you.) Nan Beauchamp, like many youths of the year 2000-something; will live, work, and die as less than a footnote of a footnote within the abridged history of unremarkable years. This suits her fine. Too bad about the truck that turned her into paste, then. Luckily, or unluckily, fate deigned to give the poor girl another chance to make something of herself in a bizarre universe brimming with magic, spaceships, and... giant talking spiders? This "second chance" seems less than ideal. (A web serial import from Wordpress)

They never called, yet he is here (censored edition)
Introduction:Not every world needs a Summoned Hero, even if it is possible to summon one. No, really! Everywhere, no matter the time, there are always good people who can use glory, power and personal harem themselves. And the one who was summoned? He is just a resource, nothing more… Translation of the original novel by Avada KadavraThe uncensored version is available here.Authors notes:This is just my take on the whole Hero Summoning thing, where a hero happened to survive.Fatal mistake, an error in a well-oiled mechanism that lasted for generations, gave a Hero a tiny chance to decide his own fate. After all, bad guys never expect a Hero to come, yet, the fucker still does.Partially inspired by the series “You summoned the wrong one” by Aitbaev T.A. who was in turn inspired by “Rise of the Shield Hero”.I have to warn you, Aibaev’s work of fiction is pretty out of ordinary, it makes one breath fire, cry until tears turn to blood and laugh to unconsciousness in equal measure.
