"Morning beautiful." Adrian hovered me as he smiled down at me. I brought his head down and locked lips with him.

"Morning," I answer with a smile of my own. "How did you sleep?"

"Very good, especially knowing that you were by my side." Adrian replies. He looks into my eyes and smiles. "My mom called yesterday, she wants to know if you and your parents would like to come over for a cook out."

"I'll give them a call, it'd be nice to spend there last day here with your family." I respond. Adrian pecks my lips and gets up.

He puts a pair of brown suit pants and I watch him get dressed. "Like what you see?" He smirks at me and I roll my eyes.

"I've seen better." I joke causing his jaw to drop and me to laugh. I stand up from the bed and walk over to him as I help him with his tie. "I'm kidding, you know I like what I see."

Adrian smiles at me before capturing my lips and with a smile I wrap my arms around his neck.

"I am going to make you late for work." I state as I pull away causing Adrian to pout.

Adrian looks down at me and pushes a strand of my brown hair behind my ear before stroking my cheek.

"Remember you told your parent you wanted to open your own studio?" He asks and I nod. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because when I decided that's what I wanted to do you and I weren't on friendly conditions." I respond.

"Well, now that we are, I am going to help you and support you all the way." I smile lovingly at him before kissing him once more.

"What did I do to deserve you." I ask as I look up to meet with his blue eyes.

He lifts my chin and answers, "Better question is what did I do to deserve you."

Adrian had left for the office a couple minutes ago leaving me to get ready for the cookout. He said he would only be gone for two hours and be back around nine. I had informed my parents of the cookout and had gladly agreed to attend. I jumped into the shower and quickly cleansed myself up. My wavy brown locks that were darker shade do to the water in it. I search through the closet with my white bathrobe on and a towel wrapped around my soaked hair. I decide to go with a black patterned long skirt, white shirt with ruffled sleeves, and black sandal heels. I turn on my Spotify playlist and Shape of You starts playing. I let the song guide my body as I danced to the rhythm of the song. I sat down at my vanity and started on my make up and hair. I kept it simple and natural like I usually did. When I am done I walk over to the bed and place the clothes on. I spray some sprites of perfume before walking downstairs with my black handbag. I walk into the kitchen and Fernando throws me a greeting smile.

"Ms. Ham err Zamor-"

"Call me Jane." I state with a smile and he nods.

"Jane, what would you like for breakfast?" He asks.

"Oatmeal sounds good." I answer. Fernando gets cooking and I get a text from Adrian.

I smile down at the message and begin typing back.

I sat my phone on the table and in a matter of seconds it vibrates with a response from Adrian.

With a smile I turn of my phone and set it back on the table. Fernando hands me my oatmeal and I take a spoonful. The oatmeal ceases the hunger in my stomach. I scroll through my Instagram as I finish eating my meal. The sound of the door opening informs me Adrian had arrived.

"Honey I'm home!" He announces and I giggle as I walk towards the mansion entrance. His smile brightens as I approach him and welcome him with a hug and kiss. "You look beautiful like always."

"And you look handsome like always." I compliment back as brush a strand of hair from his forehead. "Are you ready to go?"

He nods after putting his brief case down on one of the tables. He interlocks our hands and leads us towards the limousine. We step inside and David drives us to the McKeller household.

The limousine pulls up at the familiar mansion and Adrian steps out first before helping me out.

"Thank you." I state as we walk towards the mansion's front doors. The maid and butler open the doors for us.

"Jane, Adrian it's nice to see you." Anna states as she greets us and leads us into her house.

My family was already here. Mom and Hayley where in kitchen helping with the food, Caitlyn was outside setting up the table, and dad was with Mr. McKeller preparing the grill.

"Jane!" Two different voices exclaimed as I was engulfed into a hug by Gabby and Hayley.

"Well, I'm glad to see I was missed." Adrian jokes causing everyone to laugh. I smiled at Adrian, I loved seeing him in a happy and joking mood.

"Who are you and what have you done with my brother." Gabby jokes back as she engulfs him into a hug. "I missed you, but who knew you were cable of making jokes."

Anna gives Gabby a lecturing look with a smile still intact but Gabby just shrugs.

"Hey, Jane." Angelica states as she gives me short hug. "Baby steps." My mind reminded me.

"Hey Angelica." I reply with a smile.

Caitlyn walks up to me and wraps me into a hug before stating, "It's nice to see you again."

"Oh, I forgot to introduce you how rude of me, mom this is–"

"We kinda got that done while you two were taking ages to arrive." Angelica informs but her tone wasn't rude.

"I honestly don't know who would do something that terrible but I am happy you found your family." Anna states and I smile at her.

"Woah, what is the president of France and his family doing here?" Daniel asks as he walks into the kitchen.

"I'm surprised you even know who our president is." Angelica retorts as I suppress a laugh.

"They are Jane's parents and siblings." Mr. McKeller answers.

"I thought your parents were dead, are you lying to us now." Daniel asks with a smirk and crossed arms.

"Jane, just found that they were lied to. Jane was taken from her parents after the accident." Gabby responds. "Now I advise you to go to your room if you are going to ruin the mood."

Daniel rolls his eyes and leaves.

"Sport about that." Mr. McKeller apologizes and my parents nod understandingly.

"We have one just like him in our family as well." Caitlyn states.

"I have a brother?" I ask with knitted eyebrows.

"Cousin." Hayley clarifies. "He took the company that was supposed to be yours after the doctors declared you as dead. His name is Roberto and he is a pain in the ass."

That's when I realize that there's still a lot that I don't know about my family. Like if I have any aunts or uncles but apparently I do and who are my grandparents.

"Well lets not ruin the mood, if you'd like one of these days you can come visit us and we will formally introduce you to the rest of your family?" Dad suggest and I nod.

"I'd love that." I answer.

"I'd better get ready on the shrimp soup it takes a long while to prepare." Mom states as she continues what she was doing before we arrived.

"Shrimp soup?" Anna asks surprised.

"Yeah, it's an amazing Latin dish. We first tried it in Cancun." Hayley answers.

"Shrimp soup is amazing mom." Adrian adds as he wraps an arm around my waist.

"You've tried it?" Mom asks and Adrian nods.

He turns to look at me and smiles. "Jane, introduced me to the dish. But I have to admit the shrimp soup from Cancun was to die for."

"It was." I admit as I take a cucumber Hayley was chopping and plop it into my mouth only earning a playful slap on the arm from her.

"You guys went to Cancun without me?" Angelica asks and we laugh.

"We needed a break from everything that was going on and I knew Jane wanted to visit Cancun for a long time so I took her." Adrian answers his eyes set on mine the whole time he was talking.

In the background we could hear the aw's from our family. I placed my hand over his which was wrapped around me.

"That's so sweet." Hayley states.

"Well she did take me out on my birthday after that incident even though she didn't have to." Adrian answers with a smile as he pecks my lips.

"You guys are so cute." Gabby gushes and Hayley nods her head in agreement. Even Angelica seemed to agree as she smiled at us genuinely.

Their comments caused me to blush as I stared into the eyes of the man I loved. I leaned into his chest enjoying the warmth and safety his embrace brought to me. Finally, things were starting to feel right.
