It's been a hectic week...a week of thinking, a week of searching, a week of finding out the truth. Once Adrian found out my parents were actually alive he has been spending day and night trying to contact them, one thing have learned is that they are an important family...a VERY important family. I found a day ago I am daughter of a famous fashion designer, and the president of France! Adrian has organized a meet up with my parents for next week, and I couldn't be more grateful. The light knock on my door brought me out of my thoughts.

I turn to look at Adrian who stood near the door frame and greet him with a smile and a, "Hey."

"Hey," he answers with a smile of his own. "I just came to check in you before I left. Do you need anything?"

I shake my head with a thankful smile. He nods before walking out the door but he turns around again after one foot step.

"I forgot to tell you, Gabby is throwing a birthday party for her friend at a club today. She wanted to know if we'd like to come. The offer is on the table, and if you are up for it, only if you are up for it we can go." Adrian informs.

"I'd love to go." I answer with a sigh following afterwards. "After all I think I need a break from thinking, and this party could be my distraction with all that's happened."

"Everything will get better, I promise." Adrian reassures and I give him a smile.

"Thank you." I mouth.

"I'll be coming by at six," Adrian states. "And if you still want to go I'll be here to take you."

"Okay." I smile up at him and he returns the gesture.

"I'll see you later, bye." He states as he turns to walk out the door.

"Goodbye!" I call out as he walks out of my room. I step out of my bed and walk towards my closet. I take out the blank canvas, paintbrushes, and paints. I press play on my phone and Something Just Like This by Chainsmokers & Coldplay started playing.

I close my eyes and his mesmerizing blue eyes appear as the cage of butterflies opens.

I stare at the now color filled canvas. I smiled at the painting I had created. The ringtone of my phone startled me and I reach over to pick it up.

Alarmed I look at the clock next to me and it reads five thirty.

I shake my head forgetting that he is not here.

I turn off my phone and throw it on my bed as I quickly make my way to my closet. Dress, dress, dress! I chanted in my head as I look through the clothes. Once I find a dress that I think is suitable I head to my vanity. I do my make up and decided to do a little more this time. I go for a smokey eye look that really brought out my dark brown eyes. I add some dark red lipstick and a pit of perfume before waking to my bed where the black dress laid. I put on the dress that reached mid thigh before slipping on the matching open toe pumps. I let my brown locks fall in wavy curls. I quickly place some money, and phone into my black clutch bag before heading downstairs.

"Jane, you look amazing." Adrian compliments as I descend the stairs. Thirty minutes to get ready for a party, that has to be some sort of record.

"Thanks," I answer with a smile.

"If you want you can wait for me in the car while I quickly go change." Adrian suggests and I nod. The doors are opened as I head out and David awaited near the red 2017 Ford Mustang.

When he notices my presence he opens the door to the passenger seat and I step in after throwing him a thankful smile. I strap on my seatbelt and scroll through my phone as I wait for Adrian. Adrian appeared at the driver's door a few minutes later dressed in a pair of navy blue jeans with a light blue button up shirt tucked in and the sleeves rolled up. His hair was brushed off to the side and he looked utterly handsome.

"You clean up nice Mr. McKeller." I state. Adrian smiles at me and answers with a, "Thank you."

"Gabby said that the club is near the outskirts of Miami so it will take us a bit of time to get there," Adrian explains. "In case we leave late, I have a condo near the location of the club."

I nod and answer, "I'm glad your sister threw this party, hopefully I can get my mind free of thinking tonight."

Adrian throws me a comforting smile as he interlocks our hands and runs his thumb over mine causing me to smile back.

Neon Lights Club was written in purple, blue, and white neon lights on the glass windows of the club. Adrian led us into the club through the VIP section. Neon lights decorated most of the club, and Talking Body remix was playing loudly through the speakers.

"Jane, I'm so glad you could make it." Gabby states. She engulfs me into one of her warm hugs as we enter the VIP section.

Angelica walked up to us and greeted me with a simple, "Hi." Hey, it's an improvement!

"You looking stunning." Gabby complimented and I gave her a grateful smile.

"You look amazing as well," I reply. "Both of you."

For the first time that we've met Angelica gave me a smile that seemed somewhat genuine.

"Let's get this party started!" Gabby exclaimed causing us to chuckle.

Adrian placed his hand on my lower back as we walked towards the bar.

"What may I get you beautiful young ladies?" The bartender asked giving us a friendly smile.

"Can I get a lemon drop martini with Limoncello?" Gabby asked and the bartender nodded.

"Me too!" Angelica added.

The bartender turned to Adrian and I and asked, "How about you two?"

"A purple haze." I answer before Adrian answers, "Blue shark."

The bartender hands us our drinks one by one once he is finished and I let the purple liquid run down my throat leaving a small burning sensation. Controlla by Drake starts playing and Gabby squeals.

"Jane, lets go dance." She grabs my hand and leads us to the dance floor. I let my arms, legs, hips, and head move to the rhythm. I hear someone wolf whistle and I roll my eyes. Gabby twirls me around causing me to laugh. "This my jam."

A guy grabs her my the hips and brings her closer to her.

"Hey Jake," Gabby states with a girly giggle. "Want to dance?"

"With you, always." I smile at the cute pair before heading back to the table where we were seated. The table was empty and I figure Adrian went to the restroom.

Angelica had joined her twin on the dance floor and they were both dance with their dates. After ten minutes I start getting a bit worried since Adrian was no where to be found. My eyes scan the second floor and I decided to go downstairs. I look around and there he was, but he wasn't alone. A blonde hair slut had her tongue down his throat. I feel a warm liquid on my cheek and I wipe away the tear. I had to the bar and order a shot. I drink it in one gulp and let the liquid burn down my throat.

"You shouldn't be drinking like that." A deep husky voice said from behind me. I turn around to find a blonde haired, hazel eyed man.

"And you care why?" I harshly ask.

The hot man puts his hands up in defense and answers, "I was just trying to be nice."

"Sorry." I apologize.

"How about you apologize by accepting to dance with me?" I smile as I roll my eyes.

"Fine," I state causing the guy to grin.

"My names Kenneth." He states.

I shake his hand and answer, "I am Jane."

Ayo by Chris Brown ft Tyga starts playing and we both move to the rhythm. Kenneth moved closer to me as the tempo increased. A hand suddenly wrapped around my waist and I was pulled into a tone chest.

"Stay away from my girlfriend." A familiar voice growled.

I smile as I stare at Gabby and Jane dancing together. I look down at my empty glass and head to the bar. The bartender fills up my cup and I begin to make my way upstairs only to be stopped my a pair of hands wrapping themselves around me. I found my self trapped between a wall and Leila.

"What the hell do you want?" I ask as my smile drops and a frown replaces it.

"You." She answers before placing her lips on mine.

I tried pushing her away but she only pressed her body against mine and let her acrylic nails dig into my arms. I grabbed her wrists and pushed her off me.

"Don't you ever do that again!" I state. "You are married Leila, and I am engaged."

"What they don't know won't hurt them." Leila states as she tries walking towards me but I dog her.

"I love Jane! And I never leave her for someone like you." I look at her in disgust. A smirk displays on her face and I scrunch my eyebrows.

"Seems like she would easily trade you for someone else." I follow her gaze that landed on Jane and some bastard. They were to close for my liking and my insides began to burn with anger and jealousy. I stalk towards them and my anger rises when that guy steps closer to her. I grab Jane by the waist and pull her into me. "Stay away from my girlfriend."

The guy cowardly walks away after apologizing. I turn the brunette in my arms around and look at her with a frown.

"You just had to scare him away didn't you?" Jane states causing my anger to rise.

I grab her my the arm and lead her towards the exit, "We are leaving."

"I don't want to!" She answers as she pulls her arm out of my grip.

"Jane!" I growl. She locks her hands over her chest and gives me her look of stubbornness.

With an annoyed sigh I pick her up and throw her over my shoulder. She protests as I strap her into the passenger seat. I climb into the car and drive away from the bar.

Adrian opens the door to his condo and I stood there staring at the room in awe. The glass windows show the gorgeous ocean view we had.

I turn to Adrian and ask, "I thought we were going back to the mansion?"

"I'm to mad to drive." Adrian responds as he throws his keys on the couch.

"You're mad?!" I ask in disbelief.

"What would you expect after I found my girl dancing with some guy." Adrian snaps.

"Well I wouldn't have danced with that guy if I hadn't found my guy kissing some other girl, the girl that 'hurt' him." I retort with a frown.

Adrian walks over to me and answers, "I didn't kiss Leila."

"Oh so having your lips on someone else is considered what, dancing?" I sass as my anger rises.

"I didn't kiss Leila, she kissed me and I tried pushing her away. She had her nails digging into my arms, don't you think that hurts?" Adrian states.

"Give me one reason why I should believe you?" I question with a raised eyebrow.

"I would never cheat on you Jane," He lifts my chin so our eyes were know staring at the other person. "Because I love you."

I feel my heart doing a gazillion flips as the cage of butterflies is unlocked.

"I told you the day at Cancun but you passed out before I could finish my sentence." Adrian informs as he stroked my cheek.

"But I asked you the day after if anything else happened." I reply. "Why didn't you tell me the truth?"

"Because I was scared you wouldn't feel the same way, I still am but I couldn't hold it in any longer." Adrian explains. "Jane, you are perfect and I would never chose Leila over you. It hurt me seeing you with another guy, but it also proved my fears. You can easily walk out in me and I can't stop you because what we have is just an agreement. Even though it's fake, I still want to be loyal to you because I love you Jane. If you want to leave it's okay I won't stop you, I'll give you what was promised and never contact you again but first answer me this question, do you love me?"

"I'm sorry Adrian," His face drops with disappointment. I caress his cheek making his eyes look down at mine. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you how I felt sooner. Of course I love you!"

Adrian's face lights up and I smile. He pulls me closer and connects our lips into one hungry but sweet kiss. Fireworks go off inside of me as his kiss sends sparks everywhere. He lifts me up and I wrap my legs around him as he leads us towards the bedroom upstairs. He lays me down on the bed as we continue kissing.

"Don't ever dance with a guy like that again unless it's me." Adrian growls and I nod.

"I promise." I answer before connecting our lips again.

Adrian's kiss becomes more demanding as my hands run through his light brown locks.

"What about the contract?" I ask as I pull away. Adrian smiles down at me lovingly.

"I'll tell James to destroy it." Adrian answers which causes me to smile. "Our love is real, and I still want to marry you."

"I want to marry you, too." I respond with a grin. Adrian returns the gesture before leaning down to connect our lips once more.
