"Good morning Adrian." He stated.
I could feel my anger rise as my jaw clenched. I had to hold back the urge of crashing my fist with his face. If only Jane had told me earlier then I wouldn't have signed that contract.
"Good morning Damian." I answer dryly.
Jane is not my real fiancé and I don't have to care for her just I don't expect her to care for me but she is my responsibility like it or not.
"How is Jane?" He asks with a disgusting look playing on his face.
I wanted to punch him but I couldn't. He can't know that Jane told me about what happened between them. If I want to take my plan into action I can't let him know.
"She's great." I respond. "We are both great actually. We've decided to start trying for a baby. Being in love is wonderful."
I did not care how much of a love struck loser (which I am not) I sounded like right now as long as it made Damian mad.
"Yeah." Damian answered angrily. "I remember Jane always talking about how much she wanted a family. A very lucky man you are for finding someone like her."
"Well how about we look at those finance records." I smirk at his mortified expression.
Yes, you best be scared Damian because I am about to make you suffer like you've never suffered before.
I walk out of the bathroom wrapped in a white cotton towel. I put on some rose scented lotion and my undergarments. I grab the shirtsleeve burgundy dress and adjust the black belt to my liking. I put on a pair of black pumps that matched the fabric of the belt before placing my hair into a neat high ponytail with the hair parted to the right side. I apply some light make up before grabbing my bag and heading downstairs.
"Good morning Ms. Hamilton." Fernando stated.
"Good morning Fernando." I reply as I take a seat on the stool. "Can I get some of that fruit salad?"
"Of course." He answers as he serves be some fruit salad.
I take the bowl and spoon from him giving him a grateful smile.

"Well you're up early." Adrian states as he enters the kitchen.
"I have to meet up with your mom and sisters today," I answer as I set down my glass of orange juice. "We have to go look for bridesmaid dresses."
"Oh alright well when you're done with that can you stop by at the office?" Adrian asks as he takes a seat in front of me.
Is he serious right now? I can't even take the day off?! "I am planning our wedding you know!" I stopped the words before they could come out. Honestly, I didn't want to argue with him.
"Sure." I answer as I stand up front the stool and start making my way out of the kitchen.
He made me lose my appetite like always!
"Oh and Jane," He called out and I turn my face around as I raise an eyebrow. "Bring me some lunch."
"I am not your maid you know." I snap.
Adrian smirks, "But you are my personal assistant so it's your job to bring me my food."
"Touché." I mutter before walking out.
This guy is really full of himself! Someone needs to put him in his place!
My phone dings signaling I had received a message. I unlock my phone and realize it's a message from Marshall.
I look at the date from the last message I sent to her. Damn, it's been such a long time. Guilt suddenly dawns on me. It's been almost a month since I left the dinner without an explanation to them. I quickly make my decision and type away on my screen.
I shut off my phone before placing it into my purse and heading towards the awaiting limousine. I was surprised to see Mrs. McKeller, Gabby, and her inside the vehicle.
"Jane, it's so nice to see you!" Mrs. McKellar or Anna as she asked me to call her stated as she hugged me.
"It's been so long," Gabby replied as she hugged me as well. "How have you been?"
"You two are such drama queens." Angelica butted in. "You saw her not only five nights ago."
"Oh be quiet Angelica." Gabby defended. "You're just mad because your little friend didn't get to keep Adrian!"

"Well yes, yes I am mad because Jasmine deserved Adrian, just like Adrian deserved better than her!" Angelica snapped throwing me a deathly glance at the 'her' part.
"Angelica, you keep that mouth of yours shut unless you want to spend the next two weeks without a car or credit card." Anna threatened.
Angelica gasped in horror, "You wouldn't dare."
Who's the drama queen now, huh?
"I would dare." Anna responded.
That's all it took for Angelica to shut her trap. The rest of ride consisted of small conversation between Gabby, Anna, and me. I would catch Angelica throwing me murderous glances now and then but I just shrugged it off.

The limousine came to a stop outside a fancy and expensive look boutique. Isabella's was imprinted in gold and cursive font on one of the windows. David opened the door and we all stepped out before heading towards the shinny glass doors. A diamond chandelier hung down from the ceiling and the theme color was gold and beige. The dresses were placed in beige bags with a see through in one side only.
"Hello, welcome to Isabella's." A lady in her late thirties stated. "My name is Helen and I will be attending you today."
"Helen may you show us your too bridesmaid dresses." Anna asks.
"Of course, right this way." Helen answered and we followed her.
We walked towards the back of the store which was filled with beautiful dresses. Believe it or not I'vs always had an interest for fashion, but for designing.
"We have various designs and styles. Would you like the dresses to be short or long?" Helen asked.
"Well Jane is the bride so I believe she should decide." Gabby stated.
"Bridesmaid dresses are traditionally long so I think we should go with that." I answer.
"Brilliant choice." Helen replied in a British accent. "Do you have a color in mind?"
"Turquoise." I answer and Gabby grins and nods her head repeatedly in agreement.
Helen walks over to a rack and picks up about twenty different dresses wrapped in beige bag. One of them right of the hook caught my eye. It was a turquoise one-shoulder dress with a diamond waistband and some diamonds decorating the shoulder strap. It was absolutely gorgeous.
"That one." I state as I point to the dress. "What do you think Gabby?"
"Me?" She asks confused.
"Yeah you." I answer. "You are going to the maid of honor after all."
"Ah!" Gabby screamed in happiness.
She wrapped me in a tight hug as she jumped up and down causing me to laugh.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you." She kept repeating and smiled at her.
Anna smiled at Gabby while Angelica just rolled her eyes.
"And Angelica I would like it if you were my bridesmaid." I ask.
"I am only going to accept because it's my brother's wedding and I love him." Angelica responds and I just nod with a smile.
Well at least she said yes.
"Okay I'll take your measurements. Will you please follow me?" Helen asked before soaking away with Gabby and Angelica.
"Thank you Jane," Anna stated. "Not only for helping my son find love but for also bringing happiness into this family."
I smile at her, "You don't have to thank me."

"You can drop me off here." I tell David as he parks outside of Douglas dinner. "I'll call you when I am ready to be picked up."
"Alright, have a nice day miss." He answers before I step out and head towards the welcoming dinner.
The doorbells on the door jingled as I walking into the familiar place.
"Jane!" Marshall and Sarah exclaim as they run towards me.
"Where the hell have you been?" Marshall asks as he places both hands on her sides.
"It's a long story." I answer.
"Well you can tell us while we work." Sarah responds.
I catch the towel Sarah threw me before putting on an apron. My phone dings and Adrian's name flashes on my phone. It was a message.
I roll my eyes and turn off my phone. My arrogant, bad tempered, self-centered fiancé can wait.
