《Wolf Dreamer》Getting life back on track

Rana woke up, he felt surprisingly strong, the blessing of the old oak had actually strengthened his soul also in the human world since the soul of the wolf and human was actually one. This actually helped him overcome his depression of the real world, of course Rana had not realised yet how deeply the blessing had affected him and how this was a chance for a new start for him.
He looked around his room that was a total mess. Then got up full of determination, he had overcome the worst and felt ready to face the world. Rana went first to take a quick shower, afterwords he ate the rest of the food left in his flat. Following that he started a thoughtful clean up of his dwelling.
He then started up his phone and laptop and was over showered with messages and notifications. Apparently he had not gone unmissed. His boss was pissed threatening to fire him. His friends and family were worried that he had disappeared, Robert had apparently even come by a few times ringing and knocking on the door. He had even thought of knocking the door down and would probably have done it. If a few more days had passed, he would probably have done it.
Later he went out to the grocery store, to fill up his fridge and food reserves. As he was shopping, he got a call. Looking at the caller ID ‘Myria’. It took him as short while to realise who it was. After remembering, the beautiful and strange girl that had tricked him into getting his phone number, he felt at a loss. Because he of his hesitation, he ended up missing the call. He went on with his shopping and came home.
Going up the stairs to his flat, he found Robert standing in front of his door. Robert hurried over and hugged him then he took some of the grocery bags. After they headed in Robert helped him, with unpacking the groceries.

Finishing up, they sat down in the kitchen while Rana prepared some tea. They sat there in an awkward silent until Robert asked “What happened that you disappeared like this for a week? Everyone was worried about you.” Rana did not know what to say. He was feeling awkward about what had happened, and ashamed. He had also been blaming himself for not fight back enough and letting this happen to him.
Rana looked away. “I don’t really want to talk about it.” Robert looked at him, with a worried expression on his face, but he did not want to force the issue. Both sipped on their tea, the awkward silent still remaining. After a while Robert stood up, to take his leave “I am going to head out. You know I am there for you anytime. And let's do something together. Maybe come over and have dinner with me and Lilly one of these days.” He went over to Rana and hugged him strongly and left.
Rana felt a bit relieved, he did not want to talk about that day. He just wanted to forget about what had happened. No, that was not entirely true he wanted to avenge himself first. As he thought about it, anger started to boil up in him. A dark side of him that he did not know himself, started to come up in him.
First he started fantasizing of ripping her apart, but then different other ways of avenging himself kept popping up in his mind, getting her rapped by a group of dirty scumbag sadists, destroy her appearance so anyone could see how ugly she really was at a first glance, humiliate her in the worst ways possible. But non of the plots his mind came up with seemed to be able to satisfy him, he wanted to complete break her, make her beg to take as his pet to do as he pleases with.

His thoughts became more and more gruesome. After a while his mind shook as he realised just how horrible his thoughts were. He did not want to be this kind of horrible person, still he felt that not taking revenge would not be his way either.
Rana shook his head, not feeling like thinking about this any more. He had a long day ahead of him tomorrow, taking care about the week of absence at work, even thought he would have to see that cunt again. So he decided to go rest early, lying in Bed he read a few novels on his phone till he slowly fell asleep.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.

Deviant Rule
When their world changed, everyone began chasing the same thing. The emergence of an energy that could make you strong enough to take anything you wanted changed everyone. They blinded themselves to a part of the world's new truth. For them, the only truth was that the powerful would rule the weak. Alius was someone different from all of them. A deviation from the plan. It made him hated. His only question was why? Why did they think his path was wrong? Maybe... they were the ones who had made a mistake. (The warnings are mainly to give myself creative freedom in the future. While we're here, I would also like to warn you that there will be a decently chaotic release schedule. Add that to the first-time experience and you have a crappy story that might get better. Enjoy what you can!)
