Nothing really happened in this chapter, muahahahaha who cares, not like anyone would read this story of mine.

I’ve been running for a few months now, yet there is no signs of intelligent beings. I did see other living creatures, sadly they were monsters that attack for no reason. I’ve encountered different monsters on the past months, and I have to say, even with my strength, there are monsters that look extremely dangerous. One time, I saw a colossal fire breathing lion. Good thing it didn’t attack, I doubt I could win easily. I used the hide of the monsters I killed, and made them into clothes. I am not good at creating clothes so I just took the skin, and cut a big enough skin to cover my whole body.

I continued my journey, nothing good happened...until I saw a tall wall from a far. I rejoiced and ran at full speed to the wall, there was obviously a city inside the wall. As I got closer, the wall got bigger and bigger, and when I got in front of the wall, it was as tall as 10 people. I circled around to find the gate, after a few moments I finally saw humanoid life forms. I walked to the gate, but was blocked by the people wearing an armor, the are talking to me yet I couldn’t understand a thing. Based on their voice, it doesn’t look like they are hostile, more like they are asking me something.

“Sorry, I can’t understand what you are saying”(Shera)

Hearing my voice, they raised their brows in shock. They bowed to me, and started talking in a language that I couldn't understand.

“Sorry, majin-sama.”(Guard)

One took his helmet off, he had a blue skin with white hair. He was had a muscular build, and was about 180 cm tall.

“No, it’s ok. So, can I enter now?”(Shera)

“Yes, of course” The guards made a way for me.

As I entered the gates, I saw people staring at me. I ignored them and looked at my surroundings, there were a lot of buildings made in sand. Most of the houses only had 1 floor, and didn’t have any windows, the city didn’t have any paved streets, or at least that is what I am currently seeing. As I entered the city, people started walking out of their homes to see me...and not long after that, everyone is looking at me. This is refreshing, after all that time, I am finally seeing other people. There were a different variety of people, it seems like a lot of different races are gathered in this city, on a closer look, most of the people in this city are armed. I continued to walk, until I realized that I didn’t really know where I wanted to go. I continued walking while thinking of what to do next, as I walk I saw something I haven’t seen in months, WATER.

I moved closer to the oasis, and used my hands to gather water. I drank the water, and after that, I could hear people clapping around me. I was confused at what happened, I could hear various voices around me that I couldn’t understand. Since I didn’t know what was happening I stood up, and walked away from the oasis. A child blocked my path, and gave me a basket of fruits.

“dank yu, madin-sama”(Child)

He looked like he had a hard time speaking to me...maybe my language is different from theirs after all. Damn that god, why didn’t he give me a language that I could use in this city? After I accepted the basket, more and more people gathered. The surrounded me, and knelt Am I some kind of god or something? An old looking man walked towards me, and bowed.

“I am the chief of this city, and I want to thank you personally for cleansing our oasis”(Chief)

“No...I didn’t...”(Shera)

“No need to be humble, if there is anything that you want. Please tells us, we would like to be helpful to a majin such as yourself”(Chief)

So is my race something sacred? ...I just drank a bit of water, I didn’t do anything. Ah, who cares, I’ll just get information that I need and leave this city before they notice I didn’t do anything.

“First...I would need a change of clothes.”(Shera)

The chief guided me to a clothes store, he said I could take anything I wanted, so I did. I took 3 pieces of clothes that I think looked cute, I also asked if there are bags I could take, and guided me to another store. I continued to ask for different things, it didn’t look like he suspected a thing, and happily guided me around the city. After buying tons of stuff, I didn’t really buy since I got them all for free, we went to the chief’s home. By the way, 2 muscular man, were lifting my baggage for me.

It was made with the same materials as the other houses, the only difference is that it was a lot bigger and had a 2nd floor. As I entered his home, I could see 2 children running around the house, and a lady sitting on a chair while watching the children. The chief called the lady in a language I didn’t understand, I knew it, my language is different. After that, the lady bowed, and took the 2 children upstairs.

“Please, sit here majin-sama” The chief pointed at a sofa.

After fixing my new things, I sat on the sofa. The chief sat on the opposite sofa, and looked directly into my eyes.

“I know you didn’t cleanse the oasis”(Chief)

“...if you knew, why did you give me all of this?” I pointed at the clothes.

“With that, you owe me one. The citizens were too happy about a majin visiting our town, and jumped to conclusions. You just drank a poisonous water after all, and look, you didn’t even look a bit affected by it”(Chief)

“Eh, the water was poisonous?”(Shera)

“Hahaha, so you didn’t know. Anyways, since you owe me one, I want to ask something from you”(Chief)

“Sigh...ok, what is it? If it something I don’t like, then I will leave this city...and I’ll take all of this stuff with me”(Shera)

“Thank you majin-sama, don’t worry. The request isn’t something a majin can’t do”(Chief)

“...before you ask me, I want to get a few information out of you”(Shera)

“W...what is it majin-sama?”(Chief)

“You see, I just woke up a few months ago, and it seems like I couldn’t remember anything. I want you to tell me everything you know about this world”(Shera)

Heh, that reason is flawless. He won’t know I am from another world, and I would get the information I need. I am a genius, I did kill most of the humans without lifting a finger hahahahaha.

“You don’t remember anything?”(Chief)

“I just told you...I don’t remember a single thing”(Shera)

He started explaining things that I wanted to know. First, Majins are an immortal race that has always been involved in miracle acts. Majin’s trait are the horns and tails, which is a lot similar to the demon race. A way to differentiate them is the Majin language, demon race hate the majins and would never even want to learn a word from the majin language. If you see a demon that can speak majin language, then that isn’t a demon but a majin. I think this information is flawed, what if demons actually try and learn it, they can fool everyone around them...not my problem though. Second, the majin language is something sacred, it is passed down to important figures of cities, to welcome any majins that may visit their domain. So, why did the guards know the majin language? Are they important figures too?

Third, I am currently at Hellion City, a city known to house mercenaries and adventurers that want to test their strength at the mirage desert. That explains the armed people around the city, since I don’t plan to go deeper onto the desert, I didn’t ask more about the mirage desert. The chief said that I could get out of the desert if I join caravans that are gonna travel to the Ballian City, it is a city near the entrance to the desert. Since I was interested, I asked what the other races are. I asked how many races have humanoid forms, and of course he didn’t know what I was talking about...I changed the question a bit, I asked how many races have 2 arms and 2 legs. He said that the world is vast, and he only knows 7 races that satisfy the question, Majins, Talar, Gairn, Vallar, Palan, Heran, Leins. Good, it looks like there isn’t any human in this world, the chief tried to explain how the other races looked like, but I stopped him and said it would be better to see them myself.

“...That is currently what I wanted to ask”(Shera)

“I see, so about my request”(Chief)

“Ah, right”(Shera)

“...I want you to kill the Hellion Baran”(Chief)

“Even if you ask me...it’s not like I even know what that is”(Shera)

“It is a gigantic beast with four legs, it has a red mane the covers it’s upper body. Its skin is a bit dark, and has 3 horns growing on its head.”(Chief)

I think I remember seeing something like that...

“It is also called the Colossal Lion, by our ancestors”(Chief)

Ah, I knew it.

“And if I refuse?”(Shera)

“We will accept your decision, we won’t force a majin. We will take back the things though...”(Chief)

Let’s see, I could use this battle to test my strength, I could also get the items without feeling guilty, and hey, I also got good information from the chief. I guess I should go for it, as long as humans aren’t the ones in front of me, it is ok.

“Ok, so where is it located?”(Shera)

“The guards will guide you to the right direction, the Hellion Baran could be located in front of the mirage desert. The core inside its body could be used to cleanse the oasis, and the journey will last for about a year...so you can take anything you want in the city as supplies.”(Chief)

“No need, just knowing its location is fine”(Shera)

After packing up her new things, she also bought a new clothe, that she could use while traveling. She was guided by the guards, and she started running to the mirage desert at full speed.

Having normal clothes feels a lot better than being naked under a robe, now then, time to kill some big ass lion.

(Chief’s Point of View)

I hope that majin-sama could finish this as fast as possible, we need to cleanse the oasis. If she can save our city, then I don’t care what I have to give next...maybe I could let her bathe on the oasis after this...he...hehehe, and then I will watch as her soft white skin touches our oasis, her silky white hair will float on the waters, and her crimson red eyes will be peeking out of the waters. It would feel like a purifying ceremony, maybe we could really ask her for that...and she will drown, and I will be forced to save her. Her face would turn red as I pull on her jet black tail. I will pull her body, and hug her, her bosom will touch my chest as I swim upwards.

“He...hehehe”(Chief)

*Slap*

The lady from before was now in front of him with an angry expression.

“Father, what’s with that perverted smile. Don’t tell me you are fantasizing about majin-sama”(???)

“N...no, I just remembered your mother. I was remembering the times we spent together while she was still alive, and I suddenly remembered our first night together”(Chief)

“...what are you talking about, you are single, and didn’t marry anyone. You even adopted me, because you were lonely about being alone”(???)

“Hahahaha...come on, it’s hard to not think about a beauty like her. And to think she was naked under a pelt when we met”(Chief)

“Sigh...I don’t know what you are thinking but please don’t offend majin-sama, or our city will burn”(???)

“Don’t worry about that, the city comes first. Go upstairs, and sleep with your brothers, Sefia”(Chief)

“Ok, just don’t do anything stupid ok?” Sefia went upstairs.

“Hehehe...purifying ceremony is a must”(Chief)

It has been 2 weeks since I started my journey to find the gigantic lion...I think...the lion was also looking for me.

“I finally found you”(Hellion Baran)

“...um, I was also looking for you”(Shera)

“Hahahaha, why is it that a beauty like you is looking for me?”(Hellion Baran)

“I came here to kill you and take your core.”(Shera)

“Hahaha quite the feisty one, so is it to clense that stupid oasis?”(Hellion Baran)

“Yup, so let’s stop talking, and start fighting”(Shera)

“No need to fight, I’ll go with you to the city.”(Hellion Baran)

“!?”(Shera)

“You don’t need to take the core itself, I just need to do the cleansing ritual at the oasis”(Hellion Baran)

“...if you knew about the oasis, and you can cleanse it, why didn’t you help them earlier?”(Shera)

“You surely know how to jest, I have been trying to get to the city myself, but this stupid desert is making me go around in circles. I should have joined you when I first saw you, but sadly, I was still half asleep at that time.”(Hellion Baran)

“Huh, how could you get lost in this flat desert?”(Shera)

“It is simply, everyone except for majins get lost in this desert. I don’t know how it happens, we just get lost for some unknown reason”(Hellion Baran)

“...”(Shera)

“Believe in me, it is still too early for me to piss of a majin. Anyways, please guide me to the city majin-sama”(Hellion Baran)

That was quite anti-climatic, after those 2 weeks, I didn’t even have a chance to fight anyone...except for those small fries that keep on pestering me. Ah, I don’t care anymore, as long as I bring this guy back, then I can go back and do my own things.

“Let’s go”(Shera)

We started our journey back to the city, surprisingly this big ass lion gets tired easily. I mean, we just ran for a week and he is already telling me to rest a bit...

“Should I just kill you, and take the core?”(Shera)

...I am still not sure how strong I am, but I am sure he is not someone I could easily take on. I don’t know why he is scared of me...are majins really that strong?

“N...no, wait. I day of rest won’t hurt right? Come on, I am not as sturdy as a majin...”(Hellion Baran)

Sigh...I can’t really challenge him right now, based on what I see, he is stronger than me in every aspect except for the stamina...

“You’re annoying, sigh...alright, I’ll just carry you back to the city”(Shera)

Yes, I’ll carry him until he rested enough, so that we won’t waste a day resting. I guess I should make use of my almost infinite stamina.

“Wait, I’ll change my form” Hellion Baran changed its form into small lion cub, he was as big as half of Shera’s current body.

“C...c...cute”(Shera)

My hand moved on it’s own and hugged Hellion Baran.

“Do you like this form? Hahahaha with this you won’t have problem carrying me”(Hellion Baran)

“You should stay like this forever” Shera carried Hellion Baran back to the castle with a smile on her face. She would rub her cheeks on the small cub from time to time.

I was welcomed to the city, and went to the chief’s house. After noticing me, the chief bowed and let me sit on the sofa, I was still tightly hugging the cub, cause I don't want to let him go.

“It seems you have finished the job faster than, I thought”(Chief)

“Yup, and I got a great pet in return”(Shera)

“...I am not a pet”(Hellion Baran)

“W...where is the core?”(Chief)

“I’ll show you later, let’s go to the oasis”(Shera)

“...I have prepared a set of clothes, you could use to bathe in the oasis”(Chief)

“Why, in hell would I bathe in the middle of the city?”(Shera)

“N...no, the others will also enter the oasis. It will be a celebration, where everyone in the city could enjoy the newly purified oasis”(Chief)

I really haven’t taken a bath since the time I came here...I will also be wearing clothes so it is not like I will go there naked.

“...Fine, it’s not like I am the only one going there. I might as well enjoy being in water.”(Shera)

We all went to the oasis, Hellion Baran turned back into his true form, which surprised everyone. It was quickly resolved when I said the he isn’t dangerous. Everyone quickly believed in my word, it felt like people just heard their god talk to them. Hellion Baran dived into the water, and after a while light started to ascend from the waters.

“The oasis is cleansed”(Hellion Baran)

At Hellion Baran’s word, everyone rejoiced and started stripping...it looks like they already have their waterproof clothes under their clothes. I went back to the chief’s house and changed into the waterproof clothes. When I came back, everyone was waiting for me...am I your leader or something? sigh...I was the first one to enter the oasis

Water, after all this time, I am finally bathing in clean water.

I slowly closed my eyes, to relax and enjoy the oasis. The others started joining, and soon the oasis was filled with different people.

Some were there to enjoy but most were there to watch as Shera floated on the oasis with a beauty that could rival that gods. She didn’t notice anything and simply drifted around the oasis with a smile on her face.

This is life, this is what I’ve been searching for. Everything that happened so far, seems like a bad nightmare. All those hardships, all those things that I had to go through, everything feels like a dream. This time, I can wake up from the bad dream, and live my life in a different way from before.

The event ended, and everyone returned to their houses. Night started, pillars around the city and the top of the walls generated light.

Doesn’t feel like it is running with electricity, maybe there are other ways to create light? ...I am not really good with technology...

I went back to the chief’s house and decided to stay there for the night, Hellion Baran was back to his cute form and is currently being hugged by me, cause he is so cute that I couldn't resist hugging him.

“...Can’t breath”(Hellion Baran)

“No complaining, you are mine now, pooch”(Shera)

“...don’t change my name”(Pooch)

“Are you saying my naming sense is bad?”(Shera)

“N...no”(Pooch)

Shera went to her bed and slept while hugging Pooch.

“...I am a divine beast you know”(Pooch)
