After I scolded Lom, I checked now the bodies of the goblins we killed earlier. I looted some useful items I could bring to our journey I tried to fit in all the clothes suited in my body. Lom cleansed the clothes before I could wear them. Finally, I dressed up comfortable than before.

I saw the axe I've used against them and I picked up. Removing the dust from the clash earlier, the amazing feature of the weapon gave me a good sensation.

"Henceforth, you're my secondary weapon and you, Lom, will be my official main one. Understood?," I said, putting the axe at my right holster

Lom was suddenly startled and remained quiet.

"Hmm, what's wrong Lom? You don’t look happy about what I said earlier."

".....No..thing--"

"Don't think you can fool me you stupid machine. What's wrong?"

"My Lor---"

"Keep calling me a Lord, I'm gonna send you back to the main base"

"Yes, Master Chris!" Lom closed his eyes in pain.

"..Sigh, okay okay the word master is better compared the other one"

"Umm...Master Chris, there is something I must tell. I can't become your main weapon"

"Because you’re almost exceeded your own mana from the previous fight. The cooldown of the sword transformation and respawn of my mana will be within seven to eight weeks. Although we manage to survive from that event, we cannot be surely survived if we encounter again something like those monsters. For further adieu, your body will not stand a chance to use it one more time."

“Seventy - eight weeks?” I said.

“Umm.. wrong… like I said, it will take time to respawn approximately in seven to eight weeks.” he replied.

".... Are you kidding me?"

We entered the forest with no idea if there was a village or town nearby. Looking at the environment, there were different kinds of creatures that I hadn’t seen. Because of rare appearance and features of their bodies, I couldn’t think if there were type of animals we could eat. Lom and I found a big cave within it, entering the area cautiously.

Looking around in amazement, a spider web came to take me. My body was tied by sticky white webs and dragged me up. Thanks for the blades of Lom , he saved me. When another web tried to recapture me, Lom shielded me with his hand shield.

"--What the heck?"

"Master, don't get away from me. There are a lot of unknown species trying to unleash an all-out attack," he activated his illuminated light around the cave

"Huh?--"

Multiple web bullets were shooting toward us. Lom upgraded his shield into dark metallic plate. Then, he absorbed the others by using his right arm. As the consecutive attacks had seen never ended, Lom shot back all the bullets he gathered.

Five unknown species were killed from his counter attack. The survivors jumped side by side to attack us in close quarter combat.

"Analysis complete. Master, they are the Umbra Spiders. They are one of the species created in one of the facilities in Northern Europe. Their webs are poisonous and if you touch one of those, you'll feel dizzy and paralyze and then you'll die in a minute"

"..A minute..."

The Umbra Spiders are one of the million of species created under the leadership of Dr. Simon Luis Michael. They are unfriendly and will unleash an attack if their turf has intruded. They are a black scaled type of spiders and has sixteen eyes, sharp teeth and legs, and poisonous web.

"Oh shit, we need to get out of here. Lom, cover me until we reach the exit"

When we're near the exit, two Umbra Spiders blocked it by their webs. I started to drop a sweat in my head, unable to know what should do next.

Shit! Shit! Shit! I need to calm down first. I've experience of life and death situations, thus I can think of the best solution.

"Lom, we have no choice but to kill these creatures. I need your help for this time," then I drew my axe from holster and put down my bag

"As you wish, master," he activated his attack function

"Serve as my cover, and I'll slice this species with my axe"

There were sixteen Umbra Spiders cornered us inside the cave. They started to shoot more web bullets but thankfully, Lom blocked and absorbed every one of it. As Lom started to shoot back some bullets and killed almost four of them, I ran faster as I can and sliced one of them.

First, I slashed one by one its eight legs, secondly, i beat it's back to fall it down, and then I beheaded it resulted of its dead.

"Yosh, finally I killed one"

"Master behind you!"

This spider tried to attack me from behind but I slice its sharp legs by my axe. Then I take a spin and turn on its right side. I hit its head very hard and it falls down on the ground.

After I killed it, Lom have almost assassinated half of it. I felt kind of envy from that moment but I must turn all my attention in the remaining spiders.

Two spiders jumped over me to shoot me by their webs. After I dodge it, these two tried to eliminate me by their sharp legs.

..Oh crap, these freaks are desperate to kill me. But---

"Don’t underestimate me. You filthy spiders!

Unaware of what’s happening to my weapon, the axe status had increased its level from level 1 to level 25. The Attack power have been enhancing from 10-70 to 70-178 damages, the defense has enhanced from 40-70 to 50-200 and the others too.

As I countered all their attacks, they wiped out in one slash.

"....Eh?," I felt suddenly shocked from that moment
