It's beautiful. The imagine of a massive air fleet with hundreds of boats wreaking havoc on the battle field while I rain down judgment onto the one who oppose me. My inner chunnbiyou are in full throttle right now.

I dash back to the tree house and the other follow me with dumbfound expression. I find a black cloth in a smaller storage room and start drwaing with the white paint I also found there. You know what it is, a pirate flag. I'm not good with drawing things but simple work like a skeleton on a cross with 3 pairs of angel wings is no big deal.

"Guys, when we get out of here. I'm gonna travel on foot to the nearest settlement and go on adventure from then on. Alanna and Lucas will be with me. Eva, from now on you're the Rossaria Pirate fleet's first division commander. Lead everyone and go around to collect information. Careful to be as discreet as possible. Alanna will be second division commander and Lucas will be the third. The ship will be our main base of operation. Here, take this" (Alex)

I purchase 4 den-den mushi, one of long distance type and the other two medium distance type and give it to each of them.

Eva send mental message to all other angels and eveyone gathers infront of Alanna's house. I make the same announcement as earlier and more detail information about our future plan. We need to stay out of the Gods prying eyes as much as possible which I have no confidence of doing so at least I will focus all of their attention onto me and let everyone stay out of danger. I know they won't let me travel alone so I let two most capable people follow me. Lucas can somehow hide from the Gods all this time so he can cover for Alanna if things go haywire. Me? 15 years in the underworld will teach you how to survive in most dangerous situation so I have the life force of a cockroach. I'm confidence in my ability to stay alive. (You died once, you know?) Shut up parenthesis. This and that are completely unrelated. 

Anyway, after my speech and some morale encouragement, everyone immediately get into action. Some go back to their house to pack necessary supplies, some pour in their mana into the ship core. It takes 5 angels worth of mana to fully refill the ship. Lucas said it normally takes 15 or so human archmages or more than 150 mages to accomplish the same feat. Angels sure are amazing. Right, this ship need a name.

"Hey, does this beauty have a name" (Alex)

"The empire call it Flying Fortress, milord" (Lucas)

Don't they have any naming sense? Let's rename it.

"I shall bestow you the name Laputa" (Alex)

After an hour, everything is set. Now it's departure time. Everyone gather on the main deck. All eyes are now rest on me. I guess I'm the one making the call.

"EVERYONE, TO THE NEW WORLD" (Alex)

*crack boom* I send a tremor punch upward breaking the storage ceiling and the tree leaf canopy making a clear path for ascendant.

In high spirit, the ship take flight. I think I forgot something.

"TWEAK TWEAK" (MASTER MASTER)

Oh shit, Flash. Hang on little buddy, I'm coming for you. Oh nevermind, he changes into a flash of light and materialize on my head.

Now, adventure here I come.

Ever heard the phrase life never follow your expectation? 

The current situation reflects its truest meaning. After getting out of the leaf canopy, what await us is a flock of gigantic flying monsters. Dragons, wyverns, carnivorous giant birds, you name it. They all come at the ship at once.

"FULL SPEED AHEAD. POUR ALL YOUR MANA INTO THE SHIELD. READY THE CANNON. FIRE AT MY COMMAND. FIRE!!!" (Eva)

*ROARRRR*

We fight back desparately but they just keep coming with no end insight.

I repeatedly send fists of magma into the sky which come down on the surrounding monsters. Only the birds type monsters take fatal damage as the intense heat burn out their feathers and set their bodies ablaze. The wyverns with their heat resistance didn't come out unscathed either as the heat of magma can't be taken lightly of. Although barely alive, they are quickly struck down by the cannons. The dragons are on a diffirent dimesion though. They just brush through volleys of magma like warm water and ram the ship violently. The shield hold but not for long.

"Eva, we need a breakthrough. Focus everything to the shield and the cannons at the front. I will take care of the side" (Alex)

"Got it. YOU HEARD HIM. EVERYTHING TO THE SHIELD. FULL POWER TO THE FRONT CANNON. FIRE!!!" (Eva)

*BOOM BOOM BOOM*

I fold my arms into double side punch stance and *CRACK BOOM* send out massive shockwaves to both sides of the ship. Dragons are tough bastards. Their scales are immune to heat and have amazing shock absorbability. However, the whirlwinds send them flying, temporary keeping them at bay. Not willing to stay still, they start bombarding us with the famous dragon breathes. Torrent of fires are hurled at us. The whole sky is covered with inferno.

I send another tremor double punch but this time the force is countered by the heat. The shield is cracking visibly. Damnit, at this rate we are done for. Alright, you wanna play with fire? This Lord gonna play with you. 

I change my arm into magma and release pillar of molten rock to the side. I have heat superiority but I'm outnumbered heavily even though I can discharge magma limitlessly. There are 6 dragons fire on all side. Still, I hold out somehow.

Suddenly, a concentrated beam of fire breakthrough the shield, coming straight at Alanna. I tried to move but if I move the ship will be burned to ashes in matter of milisecond. Alanna who has all her attention on the shield still hasn't realized the danger.

"ALANNA, WATCH OUT!!!" (Alex)

I warned but it's too late. Time seems to slow down as I watch my first love about to die helplessly. Weak. I'm too weak. That life and this life, there's no diffirent, I can't protect the one I love.

As hope is leaving me, a small figure appear between Alanna and the fire beam. Flash?

Flash body turn into an obsidian black withstanding the deathly beam for a brief second. But that's all the time needed for Alanna to jump out of the way.

"FLASH, MOVE" (Alex)

The beam went through and left nothing behind in its path. Nothing. Including the little slime.

"No way" (Alex)

"HOLD ON! WE HAVE REACHED THE BARRIER" (Lucas)

After passing through the forest barrier the monster stop persuing. Everyone heaves sigh of relief. But.... but.... Flash.... for the first time since mother died in my hands, I broke out in tears.

"FLASHHHH!!! AHHHHHHH!!!" (Alex)

Damn it! Damn it ! DAMN IT ALLLL! 

Memory of our short time together flood my mind. Uncontrolable rage well up inside me. Not to the dragons, not to Alanna, but to my own useless self. For many years, I yearn for a true friend. When I finally found one, I let him die in front of my eyes....

"It's all my fault. If I had pay more attention to my surrounding, Flash wouldn't have...." (Alanna)

"Stop Alanna. I don't blame you. Flash won't blame you. It's my fault. If only I had more power..." (Alex)

Flash? But how? I saw with my own eyes that you.... Ah right, he is immortal during day light... you little bastard, all those emotion outbreak....

All turn into uncontrolable joys. I thought I lost him. I hug Flash with everything I got. I'm sooo happy that sweat start to come out of my eyes.
