《Money Making MMO》Days 99 to 327

It has been over 3 months since everyone woke up. There were three major groups vying for supremacy amongst the Players and no one knew how many NPCs were trying to be involved as well. The Fairies, Elves, Dwarves and such created an Alliance with the Divine side of the races. This group was pretty much controlled by Merry-Go-Roundabout’s Clan.
To the South, a strange unification of Demons, Monsters and Humans were sprouting up, changing everyone’s expectations. The King of the Human Country was losing his place in the hierarchy as many new people would only go meet with Evil Ginger and the Torwächter. Nearly every other Country was starting to use the Adventurer’s Guild as a basic foundation plan for their own Guilds. They all essentially did the same thing, but everyone agreed that the Humans had gotten the drop on everyone else.
In the shadows, several Players were dreaming of causing chaos. They had lost their money to both of these groups on several occasions, whether it be from betting against the powerful people or being scammed into the Money Making Clan. Players who had money had already went and gotten their first surgeries.
Some people tried to receive the Racial Surgery and be more like their in game characters. They were all surprised to find that they looked completely like they did in game. Others desired the perfect body while others obtained a powerful super ability.
The best part was that any procedure done in real life, they could do the same thing in game.
Some people were very obvious with their powers like Merry-Go-Roundabout. He had obtained a special Fire ability that cloaked him in flames. Some tried to remain subtle like the elusive Evil Ginger who had gained a psychic ability and only used it to enhance his technique.
Other people just wanted to cause problems. The game world was now full of powerful superbeings that were causing mayhem. The biggest group of these people were the organized crime group that called themselves the Snake. Not original, but it sort of fit.
Eventually, the name changed to Black Snake in honor of their leader, a Black Mamba Lamia that had excessive poison abilities. They snuck around and tried ruining other people’s lives. They constantly PKed and were at the top of the Wanted List.

The Members of Black Snake thought that they could just take other people’s money to use as their own. It worked, since they turned the money into things like alcohol, drugs, and women. They gambled away their savings and caused bar fights wherever they went. They were a bunch of hooligans.
Several more months had passed the Black Snake became the Black Dragon. It was like they had gained wings. Many people were joining them adding to the difficulties. They instigated the NPCs to fight each other and killed everyone they didn’t like. They also stole the people they did like. They were worse than Monsters and Beasts.
There were only two places they couldn’t set foot in. Evil Ginger’s domain and Merry-Go-Roundabout’s domain. Both of these places had exceptionally hard defenses. Because of this, they would stay outside and ruin any caravans and traders that approached.
The Money Making Clan was spread out far and wide. It wasn’t under the complete control of Merry-Go-Roundabout so the Black Dragon could mess with the big time members of the Clan instead. They tried to do the same with Evil Ginger’s Torwächter, but he had called them all back long ago. They remained in their area and ate off of whatever they had. The Hunts were less productive and anybody who left or tried to enter was killed off by the Black Dragons.
Another couple of months had passed. The Black Dragon became the Shadow Dragon. They took over everywhere. The Human Kingdom had fallen and the only place left was Evil Ginger’s area. The Money Making Clan lost their influx of newcomers and the massive death counts left their remaining members in debt again.
The same thing happened here where all the members came to Merry-Go-Roundabout to be safe. Unfortunately, he relied on the trade so they were having many difficulties in staying positive. It wasn’t just the Dragonkin Country or the Human Country, practically all the countries were taken over. The few survivors were somehow being smuggled into Evil Ginger’s area. Gigantic buildings were being constructed that anyone for miles around could see it.
Their production was a mystery to outsiders so no one knew what it was that kept them going. Evil Ginger gave sanctuary to all creatures, big and small. Animals and Beasts also appeared, walking into the city and never returning again. Were they being eaten or tamed? The members of the Shadow Dragon were confused.

They had tried on many occasions to enter the city but always got blasted away by magic cannons and special weaponry as soon as they got in range. Whether by air or by land, they couldn’t get close.
Merry-Go-Roundabout on the other hand was under attack constantly. Their members were dying too much to remain in the Clan. Multiple times someone managed to sneak in and attack from the inside, killing several before they killed themselves.
“Evil. We have to do something! Why don’t you reply?!”
Jason sat at his computer not understanding the silence. It had been almost a year since everyone woke, but not even half a year had passed before trouble began. Too many people had lost their savings and gone bankrupt. Everyone was pessimistic or joined the Shadow Dragons to get money.
The Shadow Dragons didn’t care about ruling or leading. They only cared about themselves. They would hassle and heckle a King to do things and threaten them if they disobeyed. The leader had heads of all the members of royalty who talked back to him stuck to his wall.
So as to not waste money, the remaining members of the Money Making Clan decided to meet in real life. They could do so since they had already payed off their debt.
All ten of the major leaders sat outside admiring the bright sun and calm atmosphere of the artificial park they went to. There were many tourist spots that were suggested from the teleporter menu and they all picked the Park.
Aware of the grim discussion, some members just sat down facing their feet. Soon, a short man who played as the famous Klepto_Kat stood up and began talking.
“Some people haven’t logged in to the forums for a while. Like weeks. We should probably suspect they…killed themselves.”
“What?!”
“NO!”
“Those damn Snakes!”
“Please. This has been hard on us all. Seeing our friends join the enemy has been discerning, but we should be happy for those that are still alive. We should probably expect that the Capital of the Dragonkin Country will fall.”
Jason never spoke. He had lost both his wife and his son to the Shadow Dragons and was hit hard. He never met with anyone irl so he had spent all his spare time with them instead. Logging in one day to see the decapitated heads of his family made him have nightmares.
Now, he only thinks of killing the Dragons and wondering why Evil Ginger didn’t help. Surely if Evil was in trouble, he would help. No, he probably wouldn’t be able to since these men would all say it wasn’t profitable. These weren’t young adults, they were company heads that wished to experience a new life. They were CEOs, not Generals.
Not paying attention to the old fogies, Jason was content with shrouding himself with flames and looking at his surroundings. The park was large, filled with a pond, a playground, a track, and even some little ducks quacking by. But what intrigued him were the stupendously tall buildings that surrounded his vision. It was like being in a courtyard that was located in the center of a building, but on a more massive scale.
The buildings all stretched up into the sky, only leaving the bright blue as a tiny square. These buildings must be home to the several hundred millions of people here. Just imagine, he was right outside and could probably meet them if he broke through the walls.
Wait. Break through the walls. Who says that you have to fight someone in game? If he can find their living quarters, Jason could easily just go and kill the Shadow Dragons in their sleep! He decided to keep it a secret for now. But he could do it. He could finally get revenge for his wife and little son!
