He wasn't sure what else he could do. He professed his love for her and she didn't care. But, he was being selfish he knew saying he loved her with a few other words added wouldn't do much, he broke her trust for goodness sake.

Micheal can not live without Maisy. He misses the nights they would cuddle watching a movie she chose and he never cared as long as he spent time with her and, the times they went out for dates or simply just to be with each other.

He missed it all so damn much. He never fell out of love he made a decision that he regrets and will regret everyday. He was half intoxicated while doing the-activity with Emily. But, he doesn't want to tell Maisy he didn't want it to seem as if he was making excuses for the mistake he did and it was all him.

He loves Maisy and he wasn't about to watch her slip out of his fingers, not again so, he decided he was going to get to the bottom of whoever was tell Emily everything.

Micheal was currently in his office with his son Mason, the only thing giving him life.

After the whole incident Maisy and Micheal had been growing their bond but she still refused to be with him. It hurt him yes but, if it was going to keep him seeing them both everyday he would take it.

Micheal eventually found out who was giving Emily the information but, he didn't have the heart to tell Maisy, every time he was Dimitri came or she had to leave. Always an excuse so he decided after many failed attempts to leave it alone.

She wouldn't believe me either way, he couldn't help but think.

Putting Mason on his lap as he read over contracts.

His assistant knocked on the door.

"Come in."

She pops her head in and tells him "Miss Evans is on line one."

Confused he nods at her and grabs his phone as Mason plays with his fathers large fingers precisely his left ring finger that held the wedding band he still refused to take off.

"Maisy?"

His heart fell hearing sobs come from the other line he hated seeing her in pain and he promised himself after his mistake he would always keep her happy "Maisy baby tell me what's wrong?"

She finally catches her breath "I-I need you." Maisy says in between hiccups.

"I will be right over okay?"

Hearing a faint 'Okay' he rapidly moves around his office with Mason still in his arms grabs everything he needs and rushes out his doors yelling to his assistant "Cancel all my meetings for today!"

Getting to the car he puts Mason in his seat handing him his crackers with his milk and moves to the driver seat.

Full on speeding out of the large parking lot and on the streets he finally ten-minutes later gets to her house grabbing Mason and knocks continuously on the oak door.

Finally, the open door reveals a distress Maisy, her mascara down her cheeks, her hair everywhere wearing sweats and a sweatshirt she finally lets out "He lied to me, it was all a lie Micheal!"
