Micheal hated that man but, he didn't want to ruin anything right now so with a clenched jaw he watches Dimitri take Mason to the car.

"This cant take long." She takes a seat gesturing the chair in front of her own to him.

He quickly takes a seat knocking the sugar packets container with a 'bang' and rapidly picks it up staring at Maisy.

He was nervous, and she can tell. She was happy he was nervous, he was always truthful during times like this.

"Micheal, thank you really for taking Mason and wanting to be in his life."

With a light smile he plays with his sweater sleeve "Of course Mais, I'm not going to stay out of my sons life after two years."

With guilt she nods. But, she wasn't here to talk about Mason as much as she would like to, she needed answers.

"Why did you take Emily to the gala?"

Taking slow breaths he goes back to that night. He never wanted to take Emily, she blackmailed him into doing it.

"Sir, someone's here for you."

Without looking up Micheal tells his assistant "Let them in."

"Hey Mikey, I missed you baby."

His movements stop hearing her voice. Emily was there, and she was there for revenge.

"I prefer you look at me Micheal."

Tightening his fist around his pen he slowly looks at the women he once saw as a friend. She looked terrible.

She got many things done and she wasn't afraid to show it. He thought she almost looked similar to a barbie, the plastic surgery was clear and everything was just. bad.

"What do you want Emily."

Smacking her lips she takes a seat on his desk in front of him as he rolls away from her as far as he can "Tsk, tsk, tsk, I wouldn't act like that Mikey bear." She finishes with pouty lips.

Emily glares at the photo frame of Maisy on his desk, she always envied her. Maisy had the perfect brown hair with hazel eyes and such a great figure that boys dropped over, who wouldn't be jealous.

"Let's just say if you want things to get better with Maisy I would listen to me."

Scrunching his eyebrows he tries to speak once more "Emil-"

Stopping him with a sign of her hand she lets out a large breath "Now, I know what's happening with you and Maisy, I have always known what's been going on with that women."

"How?"

With a smirk she throws some of her bleached blonde hair to the side "Lets just say I have an old 'friend' " she says with quotations "that is pretty close to her and tells me everything."

Micheal was disgusted watching her lick her lips in what she thought was a seductive move but really it just made him uncomfortable.

Micheal was not only disgusted by Emily but disgusted in himself that he actually touched that women in ways he should only do to his wife.

He never regretted hurting his Maisy more than right now. He loved Maisy with everything in his heart and if she wanted to be free from him then he would give it to her, just anything to see that same smile she use to have all the time.

"I need you to take me to the gala."

Clenching his jaw he sits up "No-"

Shaking her head she stops him "Uh uh, this isn't a question you are taking me to the gala and if not, you will never see your son or Maisy again."

With a large gulp he hesitantly nods. He hated himself for this.

Smirking she gets off the desk, leans over and pecks Micheals forehead "See you tomorrow, love."

Watching her walk out with darkened eyes he wiped his forehead as hard as he could, he needed her touch gone which explains why he order a whole twenty pack of febreze.

The only thing he thought of for those two days was that Maisy would give him a chance to explain.
