She hated to admit but, she was lost. She was lost without Micheal, her whole life was surrounded by the man she loved, and she regretfully thought it would stay that way.
After day by day she ignored his phone calls and messages. She just couldn't deal with him right now. She felt sick, vomiting every morning she didn't want to believe what she thought was causing it but there were no other reasons.
She was currently staying with her mom. Of course Maisy was still working on her designs, that was her new priority.
She had a good name and she wasn't about to destroy it because of the man she was betrayed by.
Maisy was on her way to the doctor, if she was pregnant she needed to know. She was scared. Not because she was scared of being a mother if anything she was ecstatic for having a baby, she was just scared of having a child with a man that ruined her.
Getting out of her car she opened the glass windows and walked to the reception desk, the only thing heard were her heels on the tiled floor and some quiet whispers.
"Hello I have an appointment with Doctor Clark."
The old women types on her keyboard and looks up to Maisy "Oh yes of course, room 120."
With a nod Maisy follows the signs of the numbers and nervously pulls the oak door open.
"Mrs.Knight how wonderful to see you, take a seat."
Slowly she sets herself on a white chair in front of the Doctor trying to look unfazed as he called her by her husbands last name.
"So, from your test we can determine you are pregnant! Congratulations."
Maisy blinks once. Once more and is speechless. She was happy but mixed with-sadness.

She was not going to give the child up, she decided a long time ago she would keep the baby and love him or her uncontrollably with or without their father.
"I um-thank you."
Doctor Clark gets up from his leather chair and grabs files in a cream folder "You need to come back in three weeks so we can do an ultra sound okay?"
Nodding Maisy stands "Yes of course."
"Okay dear you can go now."
She slowly walks to the door but gets stopped by the Doctor "Will the father be attending the next appointment?"
Clenching her jaw she doesn't turn back but says with her hand on the knob "No."
