《The story of Willenstark Kraft》Chapter-24: massacre

Will walked on the path he once traveled months ago to distance himself from those he loved. He walked through the days and slept at night. He covered around five to ten miles a day. He decided to stop at one of the smaller towns on the way there and was met with confusion. "Is there some sort of celebration happening?" Will asked as he looked at the main gate, which was covered with a weird red rope that looked strangely familiar. "Why is there no one watching the gate?" Will asked as Kapo remained silent. Will walked into the town to find the majority of the buildings burned. The streetlights were covered in the same 'rope' as the gate. He continued his walk as he avoided the destroyed cars. The streets were filled with crusted red 'paint' and pale white 'confetti' of random sizes. Will continued on as he kicked around the 'confetti' trying to figure out what it was. Failing to find out what it was Will walked towards the town hall. "Maybe a celebration went wrong and the buildings were caught on fire and they couldn't put them out? Where is everyone?" Will asked himself as he walked down the sidewalk and past the shredded 'gift bags' of various colors ranging from black to white. "Maybe this was some sort of local ceremo..." Will stopped as he saw the bodies. They were piles of corpses in the center of the square in front of the town hall. They were sorted by age, the infants were piled in the center and surrounded by the other piles of various ages. Around the piles were soldiers who were taking the bodies off of the piles and breaking them up and giving them to other soldiers to 'decorate' the town. The soldiers were dressed in black plate armor that had a silver trim and the insignia of their group on their chests over their hearts. "Come on grunts, I want to be finished with this town by nightfall. You there, go work that grinder." The soldier, who appeared to be in command, said as he pointed at a soldier leaning against one of the buildings. "Yes, sir." The soldier said as he walked over to what looked like an industrial grinder. There were multiple buckets filled with different parts to be ground up and spread over the town. "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" A loud shriek came from one of the buildings near where the soldiers were grinding up the bodies. A woman, who was completely unclothed, ran out of the building as she was chased by three unclothed soldiers. "Hey, get that whore back in there or there won't be any more fun for the rest of us." The soldier, who appeared to be in charge, screamed at them as they dragged the woman back into the building by her red hair. Will couldn't take it anymore and rushed the soldiers. He took on the trio before anyone could react. They fell to his blades before the commander could he react. "Kill that son of a bitch!!!" The commander screamed as he pulled out a war hammer and rushed towards will. Tens of soldiers rushed will following their commander's lead. Will steadied himself as he rushed the small army standing before him. He met the commander's swing with two of his own and sent him flying as he began his massacre. Unknown to those battling, the woman who escaped the trio of soldiers was huddled in an alley nearby watching the rise of a legend. Will killed all the soldiers that came to him, the bodies were piling around him but no matter how many times he sent the commander flying, no matter how many times he slashed, he always got up and rushed towards will again and again. His eyes turned redder and redder every time he watched one of his men die until his eyes looked to be dripping blood. All of the soldiers rushed in groups of ten and died and piled on the ground in a group nearing a hundred, all that remained were will and the commander. "Damn you, you fucking demon!!!" The commander said as he leaned on his Warhammer drenched in the sweat and blood of his men. "Demon. . . Demon? You fucking seriously called me the demon when you massacred innocent people and defiled their bodies? Who the fuck do you think you are!?!?" Will screamed as he was on the last strands of sanity that he had. He rushed the commander again for what seemed like the thousandth time. He dodged the commander's swing and directly slashed his chest plate and sent him flying for what felt like the thousandth time today. "Hahaha, the monolith shall reign supreme." The commander said as he stumbled to his feet again. "Hahahaha, This armor isn't something a lowly demon like you can breakthrough." The commander laughed sinisterly as he rose to his feet again. "Even if I can't break the armor, I can at least break you inside it!!!" Will roared as he knocked the commander to the ground again but unlike the other times, Will kept attacking. He jumped atop the commanders back and continued slashing. For every few slashes, blood would pool out of the gaps in the armor where different sections meet. He slashed until the commander puked blood and still he slashed. When will came back to his senses there was a crater in the middle of the streets filled with a suit of armor and chunks of meat while filled to the brim with blood. "Is this the only place they attacked or is there more? Is my family okay!?!?" Will roared as he rushed on to the town oblivious to the viewer he left behind. The woman who watched the fight walked out of the alley in a daze and headed towards the pile of corpses that were being processed. she did not stop at the outer edges but hurried on to the center of the pile and dropped to her knees when she found what she was looking for. It was an infant that looked to be a few months old, barely crawling. She picked up the infant and held it to her chest as she screamed and cried. She buried the bodies after going to her house and dressing, she buried the bodies in the cemetery and went to the village gates and turned to face the streets. "I'm sorry for leaving everyone but the story needs to be told, about the boy who avenged our town and the one who will save everyone, I love you all and I will return someday." The woman said through her tears and left to the next town following Will's path.

I Need Time
An action, adventure, mystery and strategy story about a strong male lead. Author note: First time author, good amount of buffer chapters (over 50k words) so I will not drop this book anytime soon. This book will mostly be from the perspective of the MC. On average +5k words will be published per week. I have not chosen some of the genres and tags as I do not wish to give away parts of the story. I added the content warning tags as there will come a time for profanities, gore and maybe "traumatising" content. Though, in my opinion the content will be mild if not light. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER***** Synopsis: A college ICT student transmigrates to another world filled with magic and learns magic from a dragon. MC uses modern knowledge to develop magitech technology. MC starts his adventure using the technology he develops! Saving princesses, fighting hidden criminal organizations, learning how horribly medieval peasants live, reasoning with uneducated narrow minded people, investigating the nature of magic and searching for gods... Story review: A fantasy/sci-fi story filled with some common cliches yet presents somewhat original ideas and a few unexpected twists & turns here and there. This novel also explores a few of the commonly ignored topics concerning medieval fantasy like hygiene, culture, education(ignorance, narrow mindedness) and the fact that everybody is short because magical crops cost too much. Modern knowledge in such a setting can often times revolutionize the world if the protagonist is not an idiot or weak willed or thinks something stupid like he should not intervene in a society that systematically practices unequality of opportunity, slavery and other nasty things, of course sometimes the protagonist can be just unlucky by being enslaved, etc. In our case we are granted a protagonist who had an initial stroke of luck, learning magic from a dragon instead of struggling for years without it or randomly dieing. After that his luck goes down the drain. It is arguable whether the princess is a good stroke of luck or not, I digress. Anyway the challenges the protagonist must face will grow and no more luck or helping hands. After gaining enough power and security the protagonist will change the world for the better or at least give it a stronge push onto the right track. He will make a lot of lives better but things are never so simple and there is much more to this world than meets the eye... Missing genres & tags: Fantasy, Sci-fi, Magic. *****SPOILER*****SPOILER*****
