"Alright class, what did you all learn yesterday?" Will said as he walked in front of the bleachers with his tails wagging behind him.
"That we shouldn't practice flight spells without supervision." James, the same student Will spoke to before the tournament said. Wills ears and tails drooped which led the class into fits of laughter. "He does have a good point," Sara said,d as she stood and walked over and put her arms around Will. The entire gym was silent. Then almost every student started to whistle which led to Sara and Will blushing. This made the whistles even louder. "Okay, quiz time," Will said as he cleared his throat. "Why did I pair you with the people that I did?" Will asked as Sara rejoined her friends in the bleachers. "Because the people we fought would force us to bring out our full strength." A soft voice in the front said. "That is correct Madeline," Will said with a smile. "Why did I have this tournament?" Will said with a chuckle as he stopped pacing in front of the bleachers. "So that you can see what we need to focus our training on?" James said while confused why Will was asking such a random question. "That is a good answer but wrong, the reason I started this mini-tournament was to prepare for the upcoming tournament between nations," Will said as he informed them of the upcoming tournament and the threat that followed along with it. The entire gym went quiet as they were too shocked to even speak. "Why hasn't anyone told us of this?!?" A deep voice in the back of the bleachers aired the question that everyone was wanting to say. "They didn't want to scare you and cause chaos. I disagree, by the rate you all are improving it would be best to just chain you all up and sacrifice you all to the monolith ourselves." Will said as he tried to make general eye contact with his students. "What do we need to do?" The same voice said again. "That is simple Tyler, you all need to get stronger," Will said with a chuckle. "How do we do that?" A meek voice in the back questioned. "There is only one way that I can think of, but you will have to go through complete torture to do so," Will said with a sly grin. "What would that be Will?" Sara said as she looked at Will. "It is a technique developed by some senior magic knights. They would put their juniors through as much pressure as possible to force them to use their full potential. It is the same training that I have done to get to where I am today." Will replied. The entire gym broke into whispers after Will announced this. They became quiet as Tyler who remained quiet since his first outbreak, stood up. "I think I speak for at least the majority of us when I say we are ready for whatever you can toss our way," Tyler said as he looked at will. "Very well then, I have to go grab some equipment," Will said as he rushed home to grab his drones. Will returned to a solemn class, even Sara was looking at him seriously. Will led them out to the woods behind the academy were he began to boot up his drones. "The goal of this training isn't to go as fast as possible but to remain at a steady pace. I had to reformat these too where they would be able to work with a group this big. Anyways the main thing for you all to know is that these drones will shoot you as soon as you start to slow down, so do your very best and here are some forms to fill out first." Will said as he presented a stack of forms for them to sign. "What is this Will?" Sara said as she grabbed a form. "To sum it up, it states that I am not responsible for any injuries that may occur," Will said with a chuckle. To Wills surprise, everyone filled out their form without hesitating. Will hoped that they would keep their resolve. They started their first day of torment and ran until the first period ended, Will felt bad and joined them so that they wouldn't feel left out. Will took the drones to the gym where he charged them for his next classes, he already decided they all need this training. Will pulled up the celestial system: Tabs: Injuries Skills Maps Main: Name: Willenstark Kraft-Will Race: ??-Tailed celestial fox Strength: 16 Agility: 20 Intelligence: 17 Charisma: 8 Luck: -24 Mana: 42 Mana Manipulation: 17 Vitality: 18 Endurance: 24 Willpower: 28 Light manipulation: 9 Lightning Manipulation: 7 Spirit: 13 battle Lust: 15 Mana Cladding: 7 Will began to think over his stats and became confused. Why does my vitality always increase when I get injured? And when will this ridiculous growth rate end? Am I going to be so strong that I will never run into a challenge? Why am I getting worried over this? The more strength I have then the more I have to protect those I care about. Will then slowly lied down on the bleachers and took a nap until his next class came. Unlike his previous forgettable dreams, this was one he would not forget anytime soon. At first, he thought that he was still awake and then he saw something that froze him to the bleachers. It was a giant arachnid with a slimy exoskeleton with a head similar to that of a lizard and yet it had way more teeth than even an adult shark. It placed four of its arms on each side of Will's body and slowly lowered its head to be inches in front of Will's face. It then started to sniff Will's face as he tried not to scream. Will bit his tongue to stop from screaming in this things face but when the things leg brushed against his arm it felt as if he was being put under Adders torture again. As he screamed the thing lifted its head back and instead of a roar or scream it let out a hysterical laugh as it began to secrete and wrap Will in a thread. The thread invoked the same feeling to Will as its leg did. Will lost control and thrashed inside the half-formed cocoon and screamed at the top of his lungs as his hair started to stand on end. He screamed and buried his thoughts as far back into his mind as they would go but the pain still followed. Then when everything felt as if it would never get better he felt a strange force inside his chest. He reached for it with all his strength and roared at the thing that was the cause of it as lightning landed on him like rain. He started to laugh as the thing cried out in ghastly screams with slowly changed to that of the academy students as Will slowly awoke to find himself floating in a storm of lightning where the gym used to be. He slowly came back to his senses as he floated to the ground while the storm slowly ended. He was then stormed by his students and Kyle as the world started to spin and blackout. Will awoke this time without any "Unique" dreams. He was lying on the sofa that Shawn helped him move in. His parents, girlfriend, and coworker were all sitting around and staring at Will. He barely had time to think when he was tackled by a small shape and started to lose oxygen. Will struggled to remain upright as he saw a slightly larger shape blur towards him as he was knocked off his elbows and onto his back were Sarah and Melany were hugging to the point of strangling him. "DAD . . . . HELP . . . ME!" Will barely managed to wheeze out as Shawn walked over and started to strangle him as well. "KYLE . . . . . . . . . HELP . . . . . . . . . ME!!" Will wheezed as he started fighting the darkness that was overcoming his vision. Instead of strangling him like the others, Kyle walked over and let his hand give Will's face and even tighter hug than Melany and Sarah did. Will's mental strength snapped and he finally fell asleep for the third time that evening.

The Fate of The Summoned (being ReWritten)
The Fate of The Summoned In the world of Aethion things are vastly different than on Earth. There is Magic and Monsters, as well as Demons and Dragons. Throughout the history of the world there have been many wars, both between all the various nations and kingdoms and between those nations and kingdoms and the Demonic forces lead by a Demon King or Lord. There are times that the Demons gain so much more power than the other nations, or that the others are embroiled in a war against each other and the lone nation is targeted by the demons. It was during these occasions that the various Gods and Goddesses started giving two things to the races. The First of these things were the Blessings, magical blessings given to the worth for chosen things. The Second of these things were the Summoning rituals, magic rituals that could summon beings from somewhere else, that would be Chosen, by the gods. These beings have almost always come from our world, Earth. It has been centuries since this practice began and the countries of the world have almost always flourished for a time after a Chosen or group of them were Summoned. All of the countries treat the Summoned well, almost like kings or princes in their own right. Well, not all countries, there are some that have treated them almost like slaves, though those countries don’t usually last long. There is one though, that has lasted, for a long time due to their connection to their Patron Deity, the Goddess of Light. They only accept certain types of Summoned and they dote on certain members of the country more than others. Several years ago they performed a summoning, as they were being plagued by overflow from the dungeons. Now they, like the other countries of Aethion, have performed the ritual to fight against the current Demon King, who is said to possess a Blessing. This is a story about Fate, and those that fight against it and those who accept it. In this story the main character(s) do not fight their fate, like those in my other story, rather they embrace it and let it shape them, though that does not mean they are total slaves to it. While there will be similarities to most other Hero sumoning novels, i hope the Mcs abilities and such will make it unique.
