Will's group made it to a very crowded arena. The headmaster then made the announcement of the agreement he had with Will. The entire arena went from rowdy to quiet after the headmaster made this announcement. The headmaster then proceeded to entire the arena. The arena was a large hexagon than had bleachers on both sides. The headmaster then drew his broadsword, a Three foot long, Three inches thick, double-sided then motioned for Will to do the same. "First to three wins." The headmaster said as Will entered the arena and drew his swords. Will was excited, he finally found a way to test his strength. Finally, someone who can help gauge my strength and allow me to have fun at the same time. Will rushed Kyle while preparing for an underhand slice then followed up with an overhead chop with his right sword, the heavier of the two. The headmaster didn't have enough time to react, Will was nothing but a blur. Kyle soon found himself taking strikes every second and sometimes it even felt as if Will was striking four times in the breath of a second. The headmaster could do nothing but block. " I accept defeat." The headmaster said in a loud voice. "But we have two more rounds to go." Will pouted as he looked at the headmaster. Kyle could only laugh as he saw Wills ears and tail droop. "I had no chance even if it were a hundred rounds, co-headmaster." Kyle chuckled. "Well, since this academy is in need of a mascot I wouldn't mind the position." Will chuckled as well. "So not only do I get a new coworker, but we also get to save on royalties when picking a mascot. This day couldn't get better." The headmaster said with a deep sigh. "What are you going to teach me today?" Will asked Kyle as they walked back to his office. Kyle said nothing as they continued. "We will start by teaching you some basic spells. But before we do that I need to test your knowledge over magic principle. Your office will be ready by tomorrow." The headmaster said as he began writing up a quiz for Will. " Well, you are the co-headmaster," Kyle said as he handed the quiz to Will. "Your father must be proud," Kyle said as he remembered the reason Shawn had to leave early, they were shorthanded at the café. Will started working on the exam. It was the same as the evaluation exam at Lunsford. Will studied ahead in his free time so it was a piece of cake for Will. Will handed his exam over to Kyle after twenty minutes were up, with a smile through his smile normally drew attention, especially his fangs. "Let's see what I need to teach you." The headmaster said as he began grading the exam. "Well, there goes that. You will start training to use your first spell tomorrow." The headmaster said fifteen minutes later when he finished grading the exam. "Why can't I start today?" Will asked as he looked at the headmaster. "Well, for One you must be at your best to effectively study magic. And two, this old man has some wounds to lick." Will was confused." But I never drew blood." The headmaster looked at Will as seriously as he could. " I know, but it sure did shred my pride." Will walked to the café while trying not to think about how he had to wait another day to start practicing magic. It was easy to see Wills mood, his ears and tails drooped. He entered the café and Shawn immediately noticed he was sad at something. "What is wrong, Son," Shawn asked with concern. "Kyle won't teach me magic until tomorrow because I didn't go easy enough on him." Will pouted back. "Wait, you mean you were holding back!!!" Kyle roared as he somehow beat Will to the café and was enjoying his drink. "If I went all out, I probably wouldn't have stopped," Will said quietly, trying not to make Kyle anymore depressed so that he wouldn't have to wait longer. "That isn't even right." Kyle pouted to himself. "Well, what I don't see is right is that the café doesn't have a mascot and yet you volunteered to be the academy's mascot." Shawn pouted. "I can always be the mascots of both, can't I? " Will said trying not to dig himself a pit. "That would be a good idea actually," Kyle said as he perked up at this. "What do you mean?" Shawn asked Kyle. " Well, you already give all of Blenheim academy students a discount, so why not start a partnership?" Kyle said energetically. "How would this partnership work?" Shawn asked Kyle curiously. "We can provide all the manual labor that you need, and you can sponsor us," Kyle said as he stood up. "That would be a huge help, I agree," Shawn said so fast Kyle could barely hear him. Later that day, Shawn went to lock up the café but Will volunteered. Shawn went home earlier than Will. As Will finished cleaning up the store he decided to check the celestial system: Tabs: Injuries Skills Maps Main: Name: Willenstark Kraft-Will Race: ??-Tailed celestial fox Strength: 13 Agility: 12 Intelligence: 14 Charisma: 5 Luck: -18 Mana: 33 Mana Manipulation: 12 Vitality: 16 Endurance: 19 Willpower: 22 Light manipulation: 6 Willpower: 15 Spirit: 10 battle Lust: 10 Well, that explains my new interest in fighting. Wait, why did my stats increase when I haven't been training as much. Is that the reason for my humongous appetite? What will I turn into when this is finished? Since my appetite feels that it will continue increasing then I can only imagine further changes. But why does my luck still deplete, did one of those deer's have some sort of ties with the gods of luck. If my luck keeps decreasing then when I do die, if I get to make one final request it would be to make the deities of luck pay. Will finished cleaning the café and started walking home, however, he did not know that he was being followed. He turned around when he was halfway home and noticed an animal control van following him. He stopped and waited for the van to pass him. It didn't and the one thing he never expected to happen, happened. He was hit with a net. "Hey, guys look how big this fox is." The person who hit Will with the net said to the driver of the van. Wait, how did this happen? What is wrong with these people? Wow, how blind can you get? Will was extremely confused when he realized the net was blocking his features and the only thing anyone else could see was his tails and some patches of skin. They picked up the net he was in and threw him into the back of the van. Will was too shocked to speak. When they got to the animal control office, they picked up the net Will was in and put him in a cage in the back room. "Wait, what happened to my one phone call? " Will asked as the people that put him there went to leave. "Well, I don't see any problem with it. Who should I dial?" The driver of the van said as he looked at Will. He then told him Shawn's number and explained everything that happened when he arrived. About thirty minutes later, Shawn and Melany were led to the cages by the manager in the office. The manager then went to explain to them the different breed of animals that they had for adoption. "Sorry, but we already have something in mind," Melany said as she walked to Will's cage. Will was still wrapped up in the net and the only thing that you can see where his tail and hair color. "Sorry, but that one wouldn't be a good choice. She has cancer and has lost most of her fur." The manager said to Melany as Shawn tried not to laugh. Will was made and he started to try to wiggle free. " You have got two things wrong with what you said. First, I AM A MALE. And two, I don't have cancer." Will said as Shawn unlocked the door and freed Will from his prison. " Technically he isn't human. And he doesn't have every right that a human has, in fact, he has the same rights as a dog. You will need to adopt him still, even though he appears human." The manager said as she brought out paperwork that the Krafts had to sign to adopt Will again. Will went straight to sleep when he got home. He woke up the next morning and got ready for the academy like normal, even though he was depressed at what happened the night before. He walked downstairs with his ears and tail drooping. "Don't worry about what that mean witch said, son," Melany told Will as she wrapped him in a bear hug. Will then Ate an even larger breakfast than usual. Will then walked to the academy with his tail wagging behind him. I am finally going to learn some magic.
