"How come you never show us your face Yuusha-dono?" Yiina asked. "Ah, I'm not forcing you! I'm just curious."
I peeked over at her from under my helmet. Luckily I had an excuse ready for situations like these.
"In case my face gets revealed, my family would be the one under attack." It was a lie. My family was already dead.
"But that doesn't mean that you can't tell us, right?" Hora backed her up.
"I can't. I am a prominent figure in the world. You would know my identity if you see my face. Making you another liability to my parents' safety." I was not a prominent figure. I was just an orphan who was better than the rest and sword fighting.
"I see... but it would be nice to see your face someday." She said woefully.
"Hmmm... Maybe I'll show it to you after we defeat the Demon Lord." By then I would trust them enough to not worry about them laughing at my stupid hair right?
I mean, anyone would laugh if they found out that the hero looked like a bar dancer with that vibrant purple hair of mine. So there was no way I would ever show my face to someone I didn't trust.
The goddess did a great job with giving me the blessing of time, but I do dislike her for turning my lush black hair into this abomination. Well, dislike would be a weak term for it.
"We'll take your word for it then! After defeating the demon lord!"
They were good people. People who could have been slightly better if they stopped doing what they were doing.

"You aren't even married!"
"That's why we're here... to earn money for the best wedding and to raise as many children as we can." Hora blurted out a material reason.
"Yeah, in our heads we are already married!" Both of them aggressively shook their head.
I still didn't like their affection. If they weren't so touchy-feely, their relationship might have been a little cute.
"You will understand this feeling too someday Yuusha-dono."
Never mind I take that back.
