“Yui-nee...I’m bored.”
Yui almost groaned at Izu’s whine, he was getting restless without going out on patrols, and not being able to write. It just had to be his dominant hand. At least Eraser would be happy that they’d taken a break from vigilante-ing.
“I know Izu. It’s so fucking quiet without those two here too...” She sighed before there was a knock on the door. She frowned as she stood up, peaking through the peep hole she froze.
“Yui-nee? Who is it?” Izuku called out. She quickly locked the door before she to get rid of any pictures of them and Dabi and Himiko.
“It’s Eraser!” She whisper-shouted, “Go...put on your mask and goggles!” She ran to her room to put the frames on the bed, covering them up before she put her goggles and mask on, pulling a hoodie over the tank top before she closed the door on the way out. She looked longingly at the window before she heard a yelp, the green bean struggling with the mask with one hand. She quickly helped get it over his curls and over his face before she put the goggles on.
“Are you still bored?” She huffed at him, helping him put on the grapple brace and shoving the taser staff in his hoodie pocket. “You know the plan...if things go south, you escape through the window and don’t look back.” She handed a credit card and his phone to him. “I’ll cause a distraction and keep him busy. You go to Dabi and Himi...” Her heart was racing, her fingers ice cold as Izuku’s shoulders trembled. She put her hands on his shoulders, giving a squeeze “It’ll be okay, Izuku. You won’t be alone.”
“I don’t-” A loud knock cut him off. Yui sighed before she strode to answer it, opening the door and squaring her shoulders. It’d be intimidating if she wasn’t a twelve-year-old girl, but she’d make it work.
“What are you doing here, Eraser?” She bit back a yelp as the older man rolled his eyes at her and walked inside, holding a bag and making her stumble back or get pushed. “That wasn’t an invitation inside!”

“You said Null was wounded. I’m checking in on you two.” The voice was matter of fact, but she could swear she saw a smug smirk curling his lips before it was hidden away in the folds of his capture weapon.
“How did you figure out where we live?” She snapped, her fingers twitching, if she was fast enough she could chip him, make him forget all this and hopefully he hadn’t told the police where they lived. They’d still have to move but they would get some time to-
“The coffee you gave me. Sunshine’s house blend is awfully distinct. If I have a place to start an investigation from, well, it’s very easy to figure out all sorts of information.” He lifted a shoulder in a shrug as keen black eyes scanned the apartment, stopping to rest on Izuku, who slowly waved his plaster-encased hand.
Yui growled, “I do one nice thing...one, and it comes back to bite me on the ass.” she stalked to stand between the two, crossing her arms as she glared at the pro hero.
“You’ve done more than one nice thing, Nee-chan.” Izuku said softly, shifting from foot to foot as he looked at Eraser. “Um...are you here to arrest us, Eraserhead ?”
You could almost cut the tension with a knife as the man watched the two vigilantes tense, Izuku sliding closer to the window as Yui flexed her fingers. Eventually the man let out a long-suffering sigh. “No. I’m not here to arrest you. Calm down, I’m the only one who knows where you live. I didn’t even tell Tsukauchi.”
Izuku visibly relaxed, his shoulders slumping as he sighed. Yui tilted her head at the man, “Then why are you here?”
“Look, I’ve left you two alone to respect your circumstances, but the fact remains that you two a re children. At least let me put my mind at ease that you aren’t living out of a dump.” He grumbled, raising an eyebrow almost daring them to argue with him.

“Hey! Garbage bus was great!”
“ Null!” Yui groaned, a palm smacking into her forehead.
“You...you really lived in a dump. Why am I not surprised? What haven’t you problem children done?” Eraser sighed before he trudged to the kitchen, “I’m going to heat up the food.”
“We haven’t ....umm ...I haven’t stolen anything?” Izuku offered, rubbing the back of his head.
“Well, at least there’s that.” He put a ceramic pot on the stove, turning it on, “Don’t worry, I didn’t make it, my partner did.”
“ Oooh ! You have a partner? Boyfriend or girlfriend?” Izuku bounced a bit as he watched him, Yui couldn’t help but shake her head.
“Confidential for now.” The man grumbled as he looked through drawers until he found a ladle, stirring what was in the pot.
“I love a challenge!” Izuku grinned, you could hear it even through the artificial voice.
“There. You've done it; he’s going to dissect you.” Yui grumbled as she went to the kitchen, pulling out three bowls, “You’re gonna eat too, right? Be a responsible adult and encourage good eating habits and all that jazz?”
“Fine...you have coffee, right?” He glanced over his shoulder at her, before his gaze zeroed in on Izu, “And you. What did you do to your hand?”
“...Punched a brick wall and fractured two bones...” He mumbled, his shoulders hunching as he fidgeted under the gaze.
“Did you see a doctor?”
“No, but Nee- chan is sure that they’re just fractured. She’s had a lot-” They could hear his teeth click together when he snapped his mouth closed.
“A lot of injuries? Kami, kid. You should really see a doctor.” He grumbled.
“I know they’re fractured, he just has to keep them immobile so they heal, I made sure they were set right. I’ve dealt with a lot of bone fractures since I was a kid.” Yui huffed, starting a fresh pot of coffee, and pulling out two mugs.
“Kids your age should be worried about school, hanging out with friends, not setting bones.”
Yui rolled her eyes, even if he couldn’t see her do it, “I think we’ve established we aren’t normal kids.”
“Yeah! Why be normal? Normal is boring. Be weird.” Izuku giggled as he gave him a finger gun with his good hand.
The pro hero let out another sighed before he dished up three bowls of creamy chicken and wild rice soup with mushrooms and carrots. Yui cleared off the table, putting down two mugs of coffee and a glass of milk for Izu. They sat down at the table, the two vigilante’s pulling the masks down enough for them to eat.
“ This smells amazing, thank you, Eraserhead!” Izuku chirped, flashing him a smile that made the man squint.
“Thank your...partner for us, won’t you? It was nice of him to cook for two strangers.” Yui said as she ate, wondering if she could ask for the recipe for Himi to try.
“You aren’t exactly strangers anymore.” He sipped at the coffee, sighing softly. “But I’ll make sure to tell him.”
“Ha! It’s a guy!” Izuku proclaimed loudly, pointing his spoon at him, grinning at the man as he groaned, slinking down in his chair.
“I told you he was going to dissect you. Think your boyfriend can give me the recipe?” Yui couldn’t help but grin, the man just looked so done . “And hey, no shame in being gay. We don’t discriminate in this house.”
“Only if you’re a child abuser, or rapist, or you know...really bad.”
“What did I get into?”

First earthquakes, then bolts fell from the sky, changing and twisting the things they hit. Steven, stuck in the throes of apathy, had sought shelter out of boredom more than anything else. But when some fellow survivors are separated and trapped by a rampaging moose, an emotion breaks through his apathy. He can’t turn away. Some people say it’s everyone for themselves at the end of the world. Steven disagreed ~<>~<>~ Will update every Sunday and Tuesday at 9:00am, unless the chapter is beefy, then we'll just have one that week. For some more meta details about this story, it’s a LitRPG Apocalypse with a focus on abilities and how they are used over stats and numbers. It will have group progression, a non-overpowered protagonist, and a focus on unique and interesting classes. No overwhelming advantages for the main crew or broken cheat skills. No harem, some amount of gore, decent levels of profanity.
