The twin headed snake ran away! it heade towards the deep forests that surrounded the mountain! All The fighters were in the heat of battle and their blood still boiling followed it without much thought! Only The three young nobels and and the two gang leaders and Cross stayed! Levi had told him to not let anyone approach the mine till they come back! And the others indeed did not dare to do anything to him nor act and go into the mine!

This was the perfect moment for Eric to act! He instantly disappeared from from Aria's sight instantly surprising her leaving his voice behind: " ready your spells!" as he advanced at towards the mine. He blended into the forest and unleashed quadruple strike combined with metallic burst towards the beast bursting its tail into smithereens! He Then sent Cross a message telling him to attract their attention! So he screamed:

"no one shall get near within 50 meters of the mine, Instructions of lieutenant Levi! Till he comes back no one goes in!"

The others turned their head and looked at him somewhat disgruntled! but they knew he had to say it because he was instructed to and now they couldn't defy the order!

but this was enough for Eric to get inside the mine unnoticed! Cross was at the back so when he screamed all of them gave their backs to the mine and with Eric's stealth and lack of aura he easily got in!

What he found almost blinded his eyes! There were a dozen more Metallic lotuses! He swiped them all into his bag! He then Found 3 ores of star Meteoric Iron, 2 were quite big and he can handle one but the last one was of rather medium size but had the most dense essence! and 10 eggs, obviously snake eggs! these would catch a fortune if one tamed them since young! they had the potential to become transcendent beasts!

He immediately took it and now he had to leave unnoticed once again! He used his stealth and got ready for Cross's call!

The direction the snake escaped in was Vince and Emilia's direction! Emilia's feet trembled and she could not move! Vince Picked her up instantly and ran, she did not affect his speed much , but the same cannot be said at his movements!

The snake was fast even faster than Vince and she was close to catching up! so He did something that looked ridiculous at first! He threw Emilia. Emilia was now crying in her mind, maybe if she treated him better he would not abandon her, as she was thrown in the air! He sidestepped at full speed and turned 180° degree and launched an attack with extreme speed! his sword was not even seen! This was a lesser version of the one he used against the winged wolf! That was a three slash and a pierce combo while this one was only a horizontal slash! It unleashed inner force from inside the body! and the only reason he was able to do so was because of the wolf's help after he collapsed!

The snake has not put Vince into its eyes and his speed and force of attack were out of its expectations! As such one head rolled into the ground!

Levi who had just caught up and Emilia who just fell into the ground screamed:

" a transcendent!"

Normally, Only those in the transcendence realm can unleash inner force out of their body! ANd there were very few in Candor in this realm! the heads of the noble families were, The gang leaders were not! The city lord Dylan was even more advanced in the transcendece realm but knew by how much! but he was still the strongest in the city! The auction house and the golden gate pavillion each had one!

So one can realize a transcendent's position, Emilia tought to how she treated him a transcendent who is equal to her father with such a manner! And one so young! He will definitely exceed her father! She then realized he had not abandoned her but pushed her away from harm's way!

Levi had no time to give his greeting he dashed towards The snake hoping to get the last strike. He engaged with the now 1 headed snake in a battle in which it striked him with its tail making him cough blood! Vince then activated Phantom shade for the second time and his speed reached an unimaginable degree! he stabbed his sword into its tail and started running across its belly cutting in into two! The first time he used Phantom shade was just as a test to know his ability!

All the others could see was a flash and the snake was cut in two! The reason the 1 star top rank sword he got from the Barzotti family managed to do so was that after a month of training he could use his inner force and cover the sword with it empowering it in the process! but for an extremely short period of 1 second .

1 second for vince was already enough to slay a beast! Emilia was dumbstruck! 700 people to fight this snake! and Only 250 were now alive and most of them were those who were at the back while others were injured! And this guy finished the fight in 2 strikes of his sword! She thought back to how she treated him before once again! and this time she wasn't angry at his behavior because she must have been like a child in front of him! This time she was entranced! Even if he's mute, he's so strong an young and his face is really quite handsome! altough cold and proud! there was elegance in there ! She thought " what's so bad about being mute anyways! If i start to treat him better would he gain intrest in me? maybe marry into our family?" her face blushed.

The mother and daughter now had eyes on the same young man but who could get him?

His clothes were clean as the blood couldn't reach him thanks to his speed. He slowly and calmly wrote on a piece paper! " this beast! MINE!"

Levi smiled bitterly, normally, even though he represented the government, he would still take the corpse but this guy was a transcendent so he didn't have the balls! he had seen his speed and he would probably last a couple of strikes at best! Then his would roll besides the snake's! He thought how did the Barzotti family manage to rope in such a talented and strong young man! Then again he might be older like Dylan! He was already satisfied that this guy did not engage into battle for the mines! and only acted when the snake attacked the young lady Emilia? was she his lover or his daughter? He dared not ask!

But Vince's prowess was a 5 star at best, It was just the injuries of the snake had played a tremendous role into slowing it down and especially the eyes that were blinded it left many blind spots which he could use to attack!

" Thank you esteemed expert for your help, I shall take my leave!"

Levi turned around and dashed to the mines .

Emilia got closer to him and said " thank you!" He was surprised because of this sudden change of behavior but he did not think too much into it! He was thinking about how to deal with the snake! He wanted to share it with his brothers and give some of this beast's meat to Eric and distribute it to Michael, Harmony, Aria and even joshua would get some because of his hard work. He took a note and wrote: "My job" he then went to the snake and sent a tought to Cross telling him that he got the snake and Levi is Coming back!

" Is this how he sees me ? a Job he gets paid for? but why would a transcendent work like this? could he be hiding from something? I shall consult with mother about this!" Decided Emilia, a bit disappointed

Cross waited for a bit then declared : " they' re coming back!"

The group turned around but saw nothing :" where are they!"

Cross replied : " my eyesight is better than most people they are 2 miles aways !" The forest was filled with trees making harder to see but since he explained so they believed him! maybe it was an ability or something! They had seen his strength and it was indeed astonishing, the fact that he was a sentient warrior with the berzerk ability made them acknowledge him!

Eric took this chance to escape the mine back into the cave where Aria looked at him speechlessly. She had seen how he entered the cave and left it unnoticed in front of all those people who were rather capable! His speed and his comment on the techinques of what was considered an elite team of archers as trash and sh** techinques was already strange! No archer was like that! especially the might of that 4 arrow shot! She then asked: "Just who are you?"
