After Vince woke up, he found the puddle of blood besides him and felt some kind of closeness to it. Eventually he bent down to collect it and saw that his left palm had a wolf tattoo while his right one had tatto of wings! he did not know what this meant but everything would be explained the day of the ceremony!

Cross and Eric consumed the meat of the eagle and tiger , there was no immediate effect but it was slowly integrating in their bodies! these were not strange beasts but sentient beasts! a grade above strange beasts! and they had bloodline inheritance and innate abilities!

After a collecting the blood they went back to the village and asked their father about the coming of age ceremony, their tattoos and their sister's healing ability.

" Mages are different from others! Ther future is decided by which element they have affinity to! the different elements are : Light, Darkness, Wind, Lightning, Fire, Water, Earth , Wood , Space, Time and Healing!"

" The last three are extremly rare and as you saw , your sister Ella has healing element , and what's more she awakened it at 6 years old! we told you to keep it a secret so that she may grow up with us! if others know they'll taker from us! so i once again instruct you not to let anyone find out until she comes of age as well"

" now, the ability pattern you have on your skin is an indication that you will awaken an ability! and since all of you have these patterns your chances of awakening if you do the ceremony together is much higher! and by the way those who get an innate skill are called sentient warriors, swordsmen,archers but mages don't have the ability to become sentient as all their spells are skills, the only advantage one can have is the amount of mana !"

" the reason i did not explain this before was that you do not get your hopes up as kids and get disappointed in the end! but now you can handle it!"

the trio bowed and went on to digest the information! once again in the tree house:

" it seems I am an archer! Cross a warrior and Vince a swordsman" Eric said

" yeah! it's obvious now! but what exactly is our realm now? i am sure we exceed One star!"Replied Cross.

" No it doesn't seem so! we have been stuck at our progress for quite a long while! we are in one star realm , just our innate abilities have given us an advantage! the fact that we gained enhancements from strange beasts aided us!" explained Vince

" anyways , how can we know now? so which blood did you get?" asked Cross with a smug look on his face. he was quite proud killing a mountain king! the dual elemental tiger.

"Oh i Slayed a golden eyed eagle with metallic wings" replied Eric with a proud tone and then proceeded to describe the battle.

" fuck your luck! and here i thought i ll be bragging tonight! Well i hunter a dual colored colored tiger , it was 4 meters in height! and had a tattoo on its forhead!" Said Cross

" this little bitch never loses as well huh!" murmured Eric

" you're the little bitch! your entire family are little bitches! wait huh!??!"

" hahaha you just cursed yourself and all of us stupid pig!"

" anyhow! Vince what about you?"

" I didn't kill or slay a beast! i fought one and lost! but it has shown mercy and even gave me its blood" replied vince

" YOU!YOU WHAT? LOST? what kind of beast was this?!" Both of them screamed! they could not believe! how can he lose to a strange beast with his speed!

He then proceeded to recount his encounter with the wolf!

" a silver winged wolf huh? wow! and from its actions it has intelligence equal to a human ! If I ever meet it I will be sure to thank it profusely for its mercy. dayum!"said Cross

" well thank god you're still alive and since you got 2 more ability patterns That's good as well ! but what kind of abilities do you think we'll awaken ?" Asked Eric

" i don't know, but it will definitely be outstanding, and yeah since when has your eyes turned golden Eric?"asked vince with an intrigued face

" huh what?!" Eric got confused , his vision is still the same , how come he said my eyes are now golden, wait , the eagle!

" it must be because i ate the eagle, good thing it was before coming of age!"

this was doomed to be a sleepless night thinking about which abilities they will get after awekening.
