Story of the Hero
The King was pacing back and forth by the front of his wife’s bedroom, screams resonated throughout the castle; she was having her first child. The King who was well into his prime stroked the gruff beard that has grown on his face without stop. He was 17th King of the Western Human Territories. The world of Terra was massive, but only had two continents. The first continent was the only one inhabited this continent was called the {First World} while the other was called the [New World].
There was nothing but death awaiting those who went to the New World. No adventurer, no sailor, and no King has ever came back from the New World; Not even the people who only took one step onto it’s lands.
The Human Territories are separated into 5 areas, each being represented by a cardinal direction. The North Territories, a place covered in blankets of snow with no greenery in sight, but humans and demons lived there; the South, a place of heat and desert another hazardous place, but humans and demons lived there; the West, the most populated of the territories due to the stable climate but lack of Mineral resources, one of the causes of the Demon-Human wars; the East, the least populated of the other directions because of the fact that the whole area is swamp, a deadly swamp; lastly the center territory, ruled entirely by the {Church of Ida} the human goddess of light’ where Legends are made.
Finally the cries of the king’s wife were replaced with silence. The King was worried ‘has something happened to my wife?’ he barged into the room to find out if his wife was okay. She was cradling a child who did not cry, but showed eyes full of curiosity. The king thought how weird this moment was, his first child had not cried, but even had his eyes open right when he was born, a feat that no child has ever done.
The dazed king went towards his wife to see his child. A healthy child it was. The child was blessed to have been born in such an enriching environment. The King and Queen had thoughts at that moment of the bounty that Ida had given them. So it was known to everyone that day the Kings First child would be known as:
Deon Gervas the 1st
-Later-
The King and Queen both doted on their son, he was already 2 months old and never gave them trouble, he didn’t cry for any silly reason; it was always for the necessities. He has also shown a burning passion for books and performances by the Kings Magicians. The King had thoughts at the back of his head that his son might grow up to become a great king; how wrong he would be. His son won’t become a King; he will become a Hero who brought forth the biggest disaster Human Kind has ever faced.

The baby months went by without trouble. Once Deon was six months old he began to walk shocking his parent once again. The Queen was overjoyed with the blessing Ida had given them ‘A Genius Son’ she would exclaim to everyone she meet, the King was happy on the outside comforting his Queen with words of excitement; On the inside he was sacred of his son. Humans never grew up fast; but his son did. They do not show intelligence right from birth; but his son does. The only creature that could do this is a Demon. The Kings thoughts grew deeper and deeper into this line of thought.
-8 Months Old-
But that was all erased when his consultation with an Oracle told him his son was going to be a Hero. The King realized he thought badly of his son and couldn’t fathom the thought that the goddess of Light Ida had given him such a gift; His SON was a Hero why didn’t he consider the possibility. If only the king kept true to his original thoughts many wouldn’t have lost their lives.
The King hired only the bets tutors and knights-men to train his son when the time came. Even with the bodyguards with his son, a monster was able to get inside the castle drawn towards his son. The monster was a Death Raven, a raven of massive proportions. It was able to evade the highly skilled arches and make it to the child’s room. Knights ran as they though the first prince was in trouble. A Loud bang sounded from the room with light bursting out the cracks of the castle.

The ability granted by the Gods has been used and so began the life of the Hero. After that day the King asked the Adventurers Guild to return their Head Identifier and check out his son’s status. A few days later such a man came. Leonor Devore the only man who had a Rank Eight Identification Skill. The man casted his Skill over the child and was given a shock; this was a Hero.

The Identifier recorded his information on a status plate and gave it to the King and Queen with Shaky hands. They were put into shock too, their son was a Hero. The King announced a celebration of all Human Kind for the birth of a Hero. Sadly this brought the veterans of the previous war to think that another war will be brimming over. Demons were treated worse in the Human territories on that day and Leonor could not say anything about what was actually happening as the kind told him the nation was not ready.

Leonor wanted to tell everyone the Enemy was not Demons, but something else. No matter what happens he had to say something. The King saw the look of denial in the eyes of Leonor, but the king had his ways to make sure his son become the Hero he always wanted and if causing some hate in the minds of his people allowed his son to become a strong hero then he would do so. So Leonor was sent ‘nicely’ back to the front lines. He was not needed anymore.
What the Identifier never saw was the Titles and the final ability of the Kings Child and if he did he would have killed the child on the spot.

But the ‘True Demons’ are the ones who are not known as ‘Demons’.
-2 Years Old-
A Young boy could be seen curiously looking at the work of the Oracle inside a dark room only illuminated by a few candles.
“Child you want to see my work?” (Oracle)
The boy has been looking at the work of the Oracle for a long time. Making the Oracle called out to him asking if he was curious enough to join her.
“Yes. I want to know of the Evil people I must defeat to bring peace!” (Deon)
“Let me start the fire then…” (Oracle)
She was happy that the young prince had such a mindset, to defeat the enemy what would come forth with monsters. The Oracle started the blue fire just like she had done and then the Oracle read out what she was seeing.
“I see the Monster Man again, I see him walking farther and farther away? This is weird no matter how many times I did the same reading I never saw this.” (Oracle)
“Go on tell me more!” (Deon)
“…I see the Hero running after him. The Hero kills the man in Gods light! Yes now this is the same as I have seen it…The army of Human and demons are cheering for a new day! We humans have done it, we will defeat the Monster man. We shall prosper!” (Oracle)
“Really now? Are you the only Oracle?” (Deon)
“I am the only one who can see this far…wait…WHY IS THE HERO ATTACKING THE PEOPLE!” (Oracle)
The Oracle has seen the aftermath of the events that were the foreseeable future. The monster man brought the monster to the world and the Human and Demons come together and defeat the Monster Man. Then always after the Monster Man would turn into a Human and attack bringing blood once again. Now she had seen the Monster man die, but the Hero… Deon the Hero turn and kills the Army that had fought with the monster army as they attacked the man. She finally understood the final part of the prophecy.
The Man who brings Monster will appear.
The Hero Will Defeat the Man and save everyone.
The Hero will betray the Humans and Demons and try to kill them all.
The Human who was the Hero will bring the Monster to attack everyone.
Yes it was the Hero that would bring the End of the Human and Demon Kind. When the Oracle looked up from her fire she was startled to see Deon right in front of her. She gained the Knowledge of the truth because Deon was here; he was the real Monster Man that had to be killed.
“Funny how the Hero System allows me to see the Prophecy with you. Good bye!” (Deon)
The knife that was hidden under Deon’s robes came out and stabbed the Oracle in the chest.
“The Knife is poisoned; please enjoy your time looking at your fire. Hahaha! Oh look another level Awesome!” (Deon)
The boy walked out the room as the Oracle laid facing the fire that was dimming out…after a while the Oracle smiled once more before she meet her end and let out her final words.
“y-ou…should…ha..ve…stayed…a….a…bit….l-longer….y-….you would…have…seen….the …future change…” (Oracle)
The Oracles last breath went out and so was the prophecy changed.

Core Chronicles
Core Chronicles is a series of interrelated stories, including in-depth major story arcs and shorter side stories about Cores and those affected by them through direct and indirect means. The first arc is planned to be Dungeon Core with City Building elements in an Urban Fantasy setting. It will mainly follow one main character's point of view, but on occasion, the POV may shift to side characters to give more information about what is happening in the wider world. The stories will also examine how the world changes with the introduction of magic and its various purposes. The System will be between soft and crunchy, with discrete levels and stats for characteristics and skills. But, for example, the health statistic will be a less clear indicator rather than a distinct stat.

Stolen by the System
Lost. Vulnerable. Alone. What would you sacrifice to get home? Kidnapped on the cusp of graduation, Jake is dumped into a deadly world of levels and magic. His dreams shattered again, he’s left with a choice: fight or die – and Death won’t let him go that easily. A savage wolf, a horrific secret, and an abhorrent quest make day one the second worst day of his life. Whatever bastard is pulling the strings is due one hell of a reckoning. On the plus side, there’s magic, and Jake’s got the stats to master it. Spells not included, but, hey, creating spells and programming are basically the same thing, right? At least Spellcrafting is slightly less suicidal than trying to stop the encroaching dungeon spawn threat. Because why wouldn’t there be an apocalypse in progress. All the more reason to find his way back fast. Unfortunately, the path home leads right into the heart of danger. Fighting monsters, dungeon delving, solving puzzles – whatever it takes, Jake is finding his way home. He’ll need allies. Powerful allies, like a trainee ranger who struggles to find her hairbrush. Pointy ears, executive dysfunction, and a perilously gutsy moral compass – what more could one want in a Companion? Alas, beggars can’t be choosers. He needs every edge he can get. Going home means finishing his quest. That quest. The quest that doesn’t deserve completion. Save your father, save the world. Update Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday. Temporarily ad hoc.

The Chronicles of The Green wizard
Garion Greensleeves always was an oddity. The first son of High-Wizard Garius Greensleeves and Adricor, a Noble woman of well renown, he would of stood to inherit much. However, on the night of his first full moon, as a baby he disappeared from his cot. His parents, after much frantic searching, found the babe crying in a small clearing of trees, a large feline creature pacing defensively around him, the bloodied corpse of a fox resting at its feet. As the parents approached, the beast transformed into a small owl and flew around the clearing before perching on a low branch of a tree nearby. From this moment on Garion's fate had been decided. Only those with magical blood could be capable of calling out to such a being as this. As Garion grew older, the transforming creature remained by his side. Wizards from all the continents visited the glade to see the child who had bound a familiar to his will as a babe. At age seven, Garion left his home glade and travelled the world studying to become a recognised guilded wizard. After many years he was granted the title of Wizard and was sent forth to advise, learn and ponder on behalf of the guild. After a while, Garion was assigned to a small nation within the vast continent mainly populated by man-folk known as The Patchwork kingdoms.
