Asura used his forbidden magic on the 5th hero to use the power from his soul to create a magical beast that would be unmatched. The 5th hero's soul was not gone though, it just had it's power used as a blueprint to build the magical beast with. The magical beast would be able to use attacks as powerful as the 5th hero could if his energy was converted into soul power.
'Kill the demon king.' Aura ordered the magical beast that was made in the 5th hero's likeness and it reacted immediately. The magical beast stuck out it's hand and from the palm came a brilliant azure light. The light was beautiful and destructive, and instantly vaporized the demon king, along with palace walls and the city behind it.
"Whoa!" Feng jumped back at the huge attack and Kirito did the same. Even the demons from the eggs stopped and looked at the hole created in the palace wall. Not even the strongest earth spell would be able to break into the palace, but the attack from the magical beast vaporized the wall in an instant.
'Kill the children.' Asura ordered the magical beast again, and it used a smaller version of the attack to kill the demons from the eggs. The beam of azure light swept over the demons, splitting them in half.
"What is that thing Asura?" Akira asked as he looked at the incredible show, but then he saw the 5th hero's body.
'Remove the body.' Asura commanded the magical beast, and the 5th hero's body was gone just like the demon king, preventing resurrection.
It was an awesome display of power, and something the other heroes could never hope to match.
The 5th hero's soul was swimming in the atmosphere. He had no control over it, and he could not even feel the world around him. As the 5th hero's soul moved among the hundreds of other demon souls, the demon king's soul too was swimming in the atmosphere.

'How could a human be more powerful than me?' The demon king asked as he looked around. He did not know exactly what happened, just that after fighting for several minutes he was able to distract one of the humans, then one of the humans mysteriously died and a few moments later so did he.
'Hey, it's that human!' The demon king spotted the soul of the 5th hero floating in the atmosphere and he made his way to it. The demon king was planning on eating the soul, a method that his race could use to gain more power.
The demon king was part of a very special type of demon, the demon lord. Demon lords had a certain ability of control over their souls and could reincarnate into the body of a new demon lord after death. During the intermediate period between bodies, the demon lord's soul would be able to eat other souls to gain more power. This is what the demon king was trying to do before he reincarnated himself.
'Get in my belly!' The demon king shouted in his soul form and tried to eat the 5th hero's soul, but something stopped it. The demon king had reincarnated 4 times and eaten hundreds of souls, but the human soul was giving him trouble.
The demon king tried and tried, but he was unable to eat the soul. Never before had the demon king encountered a soul that was more powerful than him, because a strong soul meant having strong potential, and who could have more potential than a man who could reincarnate?
The demon king was slowly taken over by the very soul he was trying to eat, and then was gone. With the soul of the demon king and the 5th hero merged, the superior soul became the dominant one, which was the 5th hero's.
The 5th hero now had his own soul and the soul of the demon king, so not only did he gain the mana that the demon king had, he also gained the unique powers that a demon lord possessed.

In addition to these powers, the 5th hero gained the ability to enter Oblivion, the first soul realm. Oblivion was a realm of being where noting existed. It was a place to think about the past and the future.
Normally Oblivion is only reachable by having a great understanding of the soul, but with the demon king's soul implanted into his, the 5th hero could go there.
The 5th hero could not control the ability though, and he was sent into Oblivion forcefully and did not come out for 3000 years, even though it felt like only a few weeks to him.
In the real world, after some dispute about how the battle should have been handled and what they should do about Asura, the magical beast Asura made from the 5th hero's soul was still much more powerful than everyone in the room.
Akira and Kirito went to the human kingdom's capital to report the death of the demon king. The king and Saint Ajoras knew about the reincarnation ability of the demon king though, so they continued the extermination with the help of Akira and Kirito. After the conclusion of the war and with all of the demonic race gone, Akira devoted himself to helping young mages become more powerful, and Kirito invested heavily into book making and distributed them across the newly formed empire.
Feng was never seen from again, but it was rumored that he went north into the dwarven kingdom.
Asura stayed in the demon kingdom's lands to destroy more of the civilization with his new magical beast. The soul from the 5th hero made a weapon stronger than anything Asura ever imagined possible, and it turned the city around the demon king's palace into black glass.
The 3 other heroes left the demon king's palace with two rules from Asura. One, they defeated the demon king with each of their own strengths, and the magical beast that killed the demon king in an instant never existed. Two, there would be no mourning period for the 5th hero and thus he would be labeled a traitor. Asura knew that if a hero died in the final battle, they would be made into the biggest hero of all and he did not want that.
Over the next 60 years, Asura experimented with the souls of the dead inside the defeated demon kingdom, and he found something very interesting about souls and the bodies of magical beast.
Asura was able to transplant his soul into the body of a magical beast, effectively evading death from old age. 400 year later, Asura is able to enter the realm of Oblivion, and just 500 years after that, he enters the second stage, Nirvana. Time is freely manipulated inside of Nirvana, and Asura is able to form his soul into the shape of a human body, and move between Oblivion and Nirvana. Asura spends countless years in Nirvana.
Asura occasionally checks things in the first realm, the living realm, Limbo, but he has grown beyond that. Asura never had any descendants, and he has no ties to the current empire... that was, until he found traces of the soul from the 5th hero.
His power has grown vast and almost infinite, so when the true final battle between him and the only other user of summoning magic commences, there can only be one outcome.
I really like reviews and people telling me something did not make sense. If you didn't understand, more people probably didn't either! Help me help you understand me!

Legendary Farmer (available on Kindle July 2022!)
NOTE: Legendary Farmer is now COMPLETE. The first book, Clearing, was released on Kindle Unlimited July 5, 2022 with significant edits. I will post the first chapter of Clearing, as well as three chapters of Cuckoo's Dream, another novel in the LF universe, as a stub, with a link to the first book, so if you love LF and want me to be able to keep writing consistently, please go give Clearing five stars! In the VRMMORPG, Veritas Online, things are getting a little stale. Since the game launched, only one world- wide event has occurred, and that was a year ago.. The players are still having fun, but everyone agrees it’s about time for something big to happen. Everybody tends to forget that big things grow from small things, and little things are always changing in Veritas. The human country of Quarternell is at peace for the first time in... ever. Aspen, a former war hero, feels like he’s earned a quiet life together with his animal companions. They’re tired of fighting, and other people in general. They plan to live peacefully, far away from the city. As soon as Aspen figures out this farming thing out, he’s never going to go anywhere again. Unfortunately for Aspen, his country and his goddess aren’t quite done with him yet.Rouge the Rogue is a casual gamer in Veritas Online. She’s just a kid, and her focus is supposed to be on school and hanging out with friends. Emphasis on ‘supposed to’. She’s already pretty good at the school thing, and she doesn’t actually have that many friends. What she really loves is exploring all the cool ways the developers of Veritas found to make their game unique and realistic. Then she’s offered a very special quest, and an opportunity to go beyond the average player. She’s never been that much of a rule follower anyway....Clearing is appropriate for most ages. It has minimal foul language, no sex, and some violence. It is LGBTQ+ friendly. (P.S. IMPORTANT! This book contains very mild profanity, no sex, and is meant to be FUN. Yes, the characters sometimes think Deep Thoughts, and idealism pretty much runs rampant, but, in the end, I hope you just enjoy reading it. Laugh, cry, share it with your kids, read it to your dog, whatever makes you happy. My goal is for it to be accessible to everyone from ages 12ish on up, so you could definitely consider it YA, but with lots of big words because I don't believe in talking down to my readers.) Book Two: Harrowing (Starts after the original Chapter Fifty, now Sixteen, since I condensed chapters from the same perspective together.) Zoey has started her summer internship at Veritas Corporation, and she can honestly say that being an adult is boring. Until she starts learning secrets she was never supposed to know. In game, Rouge is finally making progress on her big quest. Apparently Duke Penbrooke took too long to return to the world, so the world is coming to get him... in the form of a few assassins. Aspen is going to have to face the life he left behind, and deal with the fact that it's not as easy being 'dead' as he thought. When what he'd hoped would be a short trip back to civilization to resupply turns into a whole lot more, he'll have to fight for his life, his friends, and his kingdom. Book Three: Sowing Rouge and Aspen have reached Bright, only to find that their enemies were already expecting them. They will have to quickly unravel the mysteries of who their opponents actually are, because they're already ten steps behind. Rouge and Aspen are finally home, but that doesn't mean they can return to their peaceful days of farming. Their enemies are hot on their heels and determined to destroy everything they've managed to achieve. Join them and all their friends for the final volume of Legendary Farmer.

A Slip Of The Force
During the New Sith Wars, The Black Sun, worried about their business goes about investing large resources into a project they dubbed Harbinger; to act as the safe guard against the Jedi, Sith and other syndicates that would be intent on removing them from power, if the opportunity shows itself. As such they created a one of kind killing machine, made up of some of the most dangerous races in the known galaxy. But due to unknown sabotage their plans are ruined and their organisation set back centuries in the many plans. Follow this entity on it's journey through the galaxy, as it stumbles upon one mess after another and tries to find its purpose in this vast galaxy. This is my own little star wars fantasy and wish fulfilment so don't come expecting overly complex plots and fully fleshed out galaxy. Hopefully I will be able to make this fun. Also I won't be decribing the species often, so you're going to have to look them up yourself. There are just too many to constantly be describing them beyond their garb.

Outlook: The Stars (Consciousness Unbound Book 1)
The year is 2152. Rune Yahui is a nineteen-year-old failure, not having gained entrance to college or the military, with no significant prospects in life. Even worse, Rune is the poorest of the poor, hailing from the mega-slums of New Southern Chicago, the lowest pit of America. In a desperate last-ditch attempt to gain a future more lustrous than toiling the rest of his days away in abhorrent conditions in one of the near sweat-shop level factories that dot the megapolis, Rune signs up for the Virtual Citizen program, a program to cull the excessive world population by transferring just their brains into a video game. In a stroke of rare luck, Rune is admitted into the program and happily submits himself to the surgery and digitization process. Unfortunately for him, he wakes up several hundred years later than he expected... or does he? **Author's Note** This isn't a type of story typical to RRL. You may have noticed LitRPG in the tags, but it's a relatively minor element in the story until later. You may also notice Slice of Life is in the tags. This story is going to be slow and there won't be any power tripping until way later if at all. The focus will be on character development. That doesn't mean I won't still have action/excitement, however. I encourage you to give the story a try. Maybe it will be your thing, maybe it won't. Thanks for even taking the time to read this, and if you do give my fiction a try, I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, well, I hope you find something that you do enjoy. Happy reading!
