The chaos energy entered Fionn's body like an apocalyptic storm, reacting a little too strongly to the spell. As the chaos energy entered Fionn's body, he felt as if he was being assaulted by the spells of all the known elements at once. Fionn was overcome with feelings of freezing, burning, paralysis, decay, and so on.
AARGHHH!
"Why is this hurting so much even after the spell's help?" exclaimed Fionn as he hurriedly directed the already drawn chaos energy to his skysurf board. To his surprise, despite the violent nature of chaos energy, it was quite doscile when being directed and easily heeded every command given by him. "This is how it should be, or else this spell would be truly suicidal," Fionn thought, relieved by the chaos energy's cooperation.
As the Chaos energy reached the skysurf board, the board absorbed every ounce of it like a child finding his or her favourite dish.
Fionn ended the trial of the spell after the skysurf board had finished absorbing the chaos energy in his body, because he didn't want to risk further injury after recovering so recently.
As he deactivated the spell, the chaos energy that had been desperately drilling inside his body immediately distanced itself from him, its behaviour resembling that of a gold digger who has just discovered that the target of its affection is poor, making Fionn feel speechless.
Fionn's monsterous recovering ability began to show its might after he deactivated the spell, causing all minor injuries to his body to heal at a rate visible to the naked eye.
"Was the pain due to my body's lack of familiarity with chaos energy? I'll give it another shot at some point in the future "Fionn murmured as he looked at his wounds, which were healing at an alarming rate.

Fionn walked out of his room, contemplating this topic, intending to find something to eat and also to ask someone to replace the furniture in his room.
He was unconcerned about anyone questioning the cause of the destroyed furniture because accidents like this occur frequently in the daily lives of practitioners, and the value of the furniture inside the room was not even one mid grade crystal.
Fionn quickly descended the stairs after informing a passing attendant about the situation inside his room.
On his way downstairs Fionn unexpectedly met Rebecca who had her face flushed with excitement due to some unknown reason.
"Did you win the lottery? Why are you so excited?" Fionn chuckled.
"Excellent! I was looking for you; hurry up and come with me "Rebecca exclaimed as she grabbed Fionn's wrist and dashed downstairs.
Perplexed Fionn inquired, "What happened, and where are you taking me?"
Rebecca replied in a mysterious tone, "It's a surprise."
"Surprise, what for?" Fionn inquired, puzzled.
"Someone special is coming to meet you, just be quiet and come with me," Rebecca smiled.
"Can that person wait for a while, I'm starving," Fionn grumbled, rubbing his protesting belly.
Rebecca ignored Fionn's complaints and dragged him all the way to the ground floor.
Reaching the ground floor. Rebeca came to a halt and let go of Fionn's wrist.
"So, where is that person you want me to meet?" Fionn inquired, looking around. But all he saw was a swarm of servants and apprentices rushing around doing their jobs. He can't think of anyone special among them who could get Rebecca so excited.
Rebecca simply stood by Fionn's side, smiling at him with a look of anticipation on her face. Looking at her, she has no intention of answering any questions.

"You know I'm really hung..." Fionn said helplessly, but he paused mid-sentence as his gaze was drawn to a group of people entering through the mansion's main entrance, to the man leading the group to be precise.
The man was slightly taller than Fionn. He has a handsome face with chiselled facial features, shoulder-length silver hair, a well-trimmed silver beard, and an athletic build with broad shoulders. His skin glistened like bronze, highlighting his muscles.
As he entered the mansion, the man looked around. Immediately, he noticed Rebecca, and a charming smile formed on his face, and he began walking steadily towards her. But his pace suddenly slows as his gaze is drawn to the young man standing beside her. As he stared at the youth, a complicated expression began to form on his face, replacing his previous smiling expression.
The boisterous chatting group behind him paused and quieted down when they noticed the change in the man's expression.
"Gin..!?" Fionn inquired, his tone tinged with doubt and pleasant surprise.

Rebirth Of Civilization
Andrew suddenly finds himself alone in world that is not his own. The creatures are hostile and unfamiliar, the land around him unrecognizable. He will have to work hard to explore the wilderness he has found himself in, to unravel the ancient magics of this world, and to create a safe place for the others lost in a foreign world like himself. This is a slow paced novel, with an early focus on discovery, survival and crafting. The slow pace is intentional as I hope to write this novel for many many chapters to come. This is also the first fiction I've written and I'm always working on improving my writing so all feedack is appreciated and taken into account. Discord
