《Guns in another world》Resolve X

Fionn dashed out of the swamp, feeling healthier and more energised. His bad mood had also improved significantly. "The old adage that a healthy body breeds a healthy mind is indeed true," Fionn said, finally out of the swamp. But just at that time he felt a sharp pain in his head. The pain was similar to the one he felt when he was transmigrated, but instead of a clear stream of memories, a fragmented bunch of memories entered his head this time.
The memories are of battle scenes that occurred after his soul got injured, and they begin to play in his mind like a corrupt video. The scenes include him being thrashed in the arena, a panel of professors with conflicting expressions, an indifferent director, and his ruthless command to Titus. When the scene of him entering the strange state appeared, the already fragmented memories became even more distorted, like an old TV.
As Fionn finished going through these memories, he felt a surge of rage like he'd never felt before. His deep purple eyes began to flash dangerously, as if he were a wild beast about to go on a rampage. "I trusted you people, and this is what you did to me," he fumed.
"You described a legacy as a family that grows together and never abandons anyone. Is this how you treat a member of your family? Floyd, I thought you were a decent guy, but you turned out to be a puppet with no ideals." Fionn cursed as he stared up at the sky, finding no outlet for his rage.
"What are you screaming in the middle of the road like a lunatic?" Suddenly, a voice from behind him triggered him even more.
He turned around to see two girls approaching him. Not feeling well for obvious reasons, he said in a freezing tone, "Please leave," looking coldly at them with his deep purple eyes.

The black-haired girl, perplexed by the hostility for no apparent reason, inquired "Geez! There's no need to be offended; it was just a joke. We've come because we heard the sound of battle coming from here. Is everything alright?"
"I don't know, you can check for yourself," Fionn said coldly, deciding to leave the area himself .
"What a jerk he is. You spoke so nicely to him, and look how well he behaved. He is only a rank 0; who gave him the right to be so arrogant. I already know he'll die young "said the blonde girl, who was annoyed by Fionn's demeanour.
"I'm not bothered. Finish what you came here for as soon as possible "said the black-haired girl casually.
Hearing her response, the blonde girl nodded and said "It's odd that the sounds of battle have stopped. Is the battle over?"
"How would I know? So, what exactly are you here for?" enquired the black-haired girl.
Hearing her question, the blonde haired girl sighed and said, "I once heard a rumour that by killing Decayer, you have a small chance of obtaining its Flame of Necromancy, and I'd like to know if it's true or not, and if it is, I'd like to get my hands on it."
"HAHAHAHA! How could you be so stupid? Flames of Necromancy! Where did you hear this rumour?" Asked the black-haired girl, who was laughing hysterically while clutching her stomach.
"I heard it from one of the third year students, he said one of his seniors got it by killing the previous Decayer," said the blonde girl, puffing her cheeks with annoyance.
"You must have been duped by him. I read somewhere in Master's archives that getting someone else's Necromancy flame is nearly impossible "said the black-haired girl, holding back her laughter. She then added "If you really want to obtain Necromancy flame, you can simply borrow the manual on how to Kindle it from the academy's library. Why go through all of this trouble?"

"It takes too much effort, and the success rate is too low," lamented the blonde girl.
"That's true," the black-haired girl chuckled, and then, with a sudden realisation, she added, "could it be that guy was the one who was fighting with the Decayer?"
"No, it's impossible, he's only a rank 0, he'll die just by stepping into Gloomy swamp," the blonde haired girl said.
"But could you see anyone else here, and even the fight had stopped?" retorted the black-haired girl.
On the side of Fionn.
After moving away from the girls, Fionn took one of Floyd's teleportation tokens from his spatial ring.
Fionn had a cold expression on his face as he looked at the teleportation token in his hand, the previous impulsive rage on his face having dissipated and been replaced by cold indifference. He just stood there for a while, staring coldly at the token in his hand, and then as if having reached a decision, crushed it, saying, "I'm not leaving without a proper pay back."
