《Guns in another world》Exam XIV

WOOOOOOOOSH!
The ice and frost tornado grew bigger and bigger as the winds it generated grew stronger and stronger over time. Seeing the battle escalating to a new level, the professor with a cigar in his mouth rose into the air and created a mana barrier around the arena, containing the damage within.
Fionn, who was trapped inside the tornado, became disoriented. He was barely able to stay on the ground against the violent winds thanks to his mana; otherwise, he would have been pulled into the sky long ago. The temperature inside the tornado was so low that space and time appeared to be frozen. The cold was so extreme that it would instantly freeze any below-average rank 1 practitioner, but Fionn was immune to it due to the Abyss fire within him.
Looking up at the sky, Fionn saw nothing but white fog, and he has a nagging feeling that if he doesn't get out of the tornado soon, things will go wrong for him.
Fionn made his decision and called up his sky surf board. As Fionn lifted his right leg, a bright flash of light appeared beneath his leg, and his sky surf board materialised. The sky surf board was as beautiful as ever, with its gold and silver hues, as it hovered beneath Fionn's right leg. As he stepped onto the board, Fionn felt the wind's pressure on him completely dissipate. The tornado's ferocious winds, which had appeared terrifying just moments before, now appeared docile.
SWOOOSH!
Exerting his mana onto the board Fionn shot towards the sky. He flew like a shooting star, destroying any resistance that stood in his way; his flight was as smooth as a hot knife through butter.

"Another strange avatar! What did that boy go through to awaken such strange enlightenment avatars? "exclaimed the elderly professor.

"The more of these avatars he has, the better; otherwise, the fight would be rather boring. Now things are becoming more and more interesting "Floyd grinned.
Prescilla nodded in agreement when she heard Floyd's words.
"It might be interesting for you, but I'm already getting a headache thinking about how I'm going to teach him," the elderly professor said after hearing Floyd's carefree remark.
"You have to think harder now, since two minutes have passed. He's already a Legacy member "Floyd gloated in response.
As Fionn was riding his skysurf board towards the sky, intending to get out of this situation, the ice tornado that had been spinning wildly around him suddenly stopped expanding as it came into contact with the mana barrier that surrounded the arena. The ice tornado, unable to expand, ceased rotating as if frozen in time, and strange changes began to occur. The snow, which had previously been pure white, gradually began to turn black. Even the fog began to darken, further reducing visibility.
Fionn increased his speed as he saw all of these changes, wanting to get out of the tornado as soon as possible. He used his scope's ability to the fullest, keeping an eye out for any unexpected attack. His desert eagle all set to deliver a counter-attack. But just as Fionn was accelerating, he was attacked by ice javelins from all directions, whose attack pattern was random and unpredictable due to the black fog. Fionn dodged the attacks while hurriedly manoeuvring his skysurf board, and those he couldn't avoid, he countered with his spear or gun.
The attacks lasted about a minute before ceasing. Fionn looked around after the attacks stopped, but all he saw was complete darkness. There was nothing but bonechilling black fog all around him. The fog was so dense that not even a speck of light could pass through it. The previous violent tornado had now frozen in place, forming an tall ice wall around the arena as if it were a prison.

"If I'm not mistaken, this is Death Tornado, right?" Floyd asked, his question directed at Prescilla.
"Yes, you are correct," Prescilla said, her gaze fixed on the on-going battle, her expression filled with interest.
"It's amazing that he can use a rank 2 spell so perfectly as a rank 1," Floyd remarked after hearing Prescilla's confirmation.
"It's not surprising, after all, he has a rank 5 bloodline," Prescilla stated, nonchalant.

Raven: The Beginning
'What's the worst that could happen'? is what I thought to myself as I entered the World of the Veil with a new, experimental machine that the company created. I was originally excited to participate in their alpha test, and now, looking back, I was just a naive little girl that didn't know what it was like to truly suffer. Sarah was one of the world's best assassin players, but she wasn't prepared for getting stuck as a low-level player in a new game. Suddenly she has to struggle just to survive against the monsters of the world, while also keeping her secret from the authorities. What happens when the killing, and the consequences, are just too real? Author's Note (and a Warning): This book is about a normal person that is forced into a fantasy / medieval environment. What could possibly go wrong with our heroine? This novel is a sort of, legacy. I wanted to at least put it out there before I passed away due to a combination of financial difficulty, homelessness, job loss, and my last interview taking up the last of my savings (which I did not get the job). If by some miracle, and I get a job that can give me a pay advance by next week (4/8) and I survive this turbulent time, I will edit this - and the formating of the book).
