Aiden was savouring the sweet taste of vengeance as he repeatedly smashed his war hammer on Zayne, who was lying in a crater created by Aiden's constant attacks.

Suddenly, Aiden, who was about to deliver another blow, stumbled as he felt the weight in his hands drastically diminish. Looking at the war hammer in his hand, he noticed that it had been sliced in half, with only half of the handle remaining.
Alarmed, he hurriedly examined the crater but found no trace of Zayne. At the same time, he heard a cold, hoarse voice from behind him ask, "Are you looking for me?" The voice was unfamiliar to Aiden and sounded eerie, as if it came from the depths of hell.
Turning around, he saw Zayne floating in front of his face, his white hair wildly dancing in the air, his bloodshot eyes staring right at him. The dark element mana around him blazed like nether fire, nearly equaling the amount of a rank 2 practitioner.
On the side of judging panel.
"Stop him! He's completely out of his mind! He's utilizing Fiend Possession "As he saw Zayne's current condition, the elderly professor exclaimed.
"I'm already on it," Floyd said as he vanished from his seat.
On the stand of sector 6.
"What just happened to him?" Fionn, perplexed, inquired of Theodore.
"I can't say for sure, but I think he just used some kind of battle spell," Theodore replied, unsure.
"Seriously, but isn't the effect a little exaggerated for a battle spell?" Fionn asked, feeling hard to believe.
"No, not at all. Battle spells that are extremely compatible with the caster can produce such a result "Theodore elaborated.
On the arena
Aiden, sensing the danger, punched straight at Zayne without hesitation. When he saw the punch coming his way, Zayne, who was in a strange state of mind, lifted his hand and slashed it down like a sword. To others on the arena, the entire motion appears too slow, but to Aiden, who was facing the attack, it felt like he was being attacked by a giant god-slaying sword that threatened to slice him in half. He felt helpless, and death appeared to be just inches away.

However, just as the attack was about to connect, he noticed a man appear in front of him, blocking the attack. The man, using his bare hands, stopped the attack that had appeared to be invincible just moments before.
"Let go of me, human, or I'll kill you too," yelled Zayne as he stumbled to free his hands from Floyd's grip. Unable to free his hand, he launches another attack from his other hand, this time aimed at Floyd.
"Calm down, boy, you're still 100 years young to fight me," Floyd said with a proud smile. He lifted his hands, and before Zayne's attack could reach him, he grabbed his head with lightning speed, and as his hands turned green, he cast a spell that rendered Zayne unconscious.
Floyd turned around, holding Zayne by the collar, and said to Aiden, who was staring at him like a dumb chicken, "you are selected, come follow me."
Aiden, intimidated by Floyd's display of power, nodded obediently and followed him. He reverted to his human form as he followed Floyd. In his human form, the wounds on his body were still visible but not as frightening as before, and as Aiden drank a healing potion from his storage ring, they were gradually healing as well.
After both of them left the arena stage, the array of the stage activated again, erasing the signs of battle and restoring it to its original state.
Following the brief intermission, the matches resumed. After Aiden's match, the other matches seem a little lacklustre, despite the fact that some examees put up a good fight and were selected by surviving two minutes. Even some non-combatants were chosen for their exceptional abilities, but still none were as exceptional as Aiden and that girl.
On the side of sector 6.
"Soon, it will be my turn. Isn't the exam progressing too quickly? "Fionn said as he noticed the serial number 344 on the large display screen.
"Don't be nervous, just do your best; I believe in you "Theodore replied, his tone encouraging.
"I will!" Fionn stated confidently.
