《Guns in another world》Exam VIII

Aiden and the muscular first-year student exchanged stares as they awaited the invigilator's signal.
"Fight!" exclaimed the invigilator, finally issuing the long-awaited command.
Instantly responding to the command Aiden launched himself at the muscular guy, not even bothering to use mana, launching a barrage of punches and kicks. Despite his emourmus size, his flexibility was amazing as he performed various complicated martial arts moves.
The muscular guy was as impressive as fatty as he countered every blow Aiden delivered with his own, albeit with the help of mana. Dark element mana swirled around his body, as whenever his blow landed on Aiden's body, he'll become sluggish, as if his energy was being drained.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
As their blows collided, shock waves would be generated, causing craters to form on the ground beneath the point of impact. They ravaged every nook and cranny of the arena, scuttling around with impressive agility.
Aiden became more aware of his precarious situation as his body became sluggish and tired with each passing moment. Alarmed, he tried to distance himself from the muscular guy, but his efforts were futile. The muscular guy pursued him like a vengeful ghost, his attacks becoming more vicious by the second. Aiden's condition worsened with each passing second. Finally, unable to match the ferocity of the attacks, he was sent flying with a kick to the chest. Aiden created a dust cloud as he landed on the ground, obscuring his body within. The muscular guy caught up to Aiden, not wanting to give him any time to recover, and with a kick dispersed the dust cloud, but Aiden was nowhere to be found.
On the side of judging panel.
"Here it comes. That Collins family brat finally decided to use his bloodline." Looking at the muscular guy who was looking left and right for any sign of Aiden, the elderly professor made a comment.

"Zayne should not have let Aiden distance himself from him; he'll have a difficult time now." Prescilla remarked.
"It's not his fault; he's still young and inexperienced, having yet to witness the horrors of the world. It still gives me goosebumps to think of the devastation caused by the Collins family during that year's war." Floyd finished with a solemn expression on his face.
"I know. The bloodline of Ourea is too powerful ," Prescilla said.
While they were talking, the ground began to tremble violently, as if it were a magnitude 10 earthquake.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!
ROOOOAAAAAARRRRR!
The ground in the arena's centre suddenly shattered, forming a sinkhole. A 15-foot-tall giant jumped out of the sink with a thunderous roar. The giant appeared to be carved out of bronze, with a metallic gleam on every part of his body. Its appearance was similar to Aiden's, except it wore armour and held a war hammer.
In shock, Zayne looked at Aiden, who was now a big fat giant, and murmured, "he's already a rank 1."
Not waiting for him to react. Aiden swung his massive war hammer at Zayne and said, "Let's see how cocky you can act now." His voice resounded like a loud gong.
SWOOOSH!
BOOOOM!
Zayne used his quick agility to avoid the hammer strike. The hammer's impact created a massive crater with a diameter of several metres.
"You hid your strength well, fatty. but it is still insufficient to defeat me," Zayne said, his eyes reflecting his arrogance. Soon after, his body began to transform. His brown hairs turned completely white in an instant. His eyes turned blood red. His previously fair skin began to darken visibly as it gradually morphed into demon scales. He transformed from a human to a demon in a matter of seconds.

On the side of judging panel.
"It's been a long time since I've seen the Sword Fiend bloodline in action. The Ulmer family has been keeping a low profile recently." Said a plup professor.
"They suffered a lot of casualties during the last civil war in Nightmare Empire, so they're currently recouping." While smoking his cigar, the professor beside her explained.
"Is that true? I had not heard anything about it. In any case, I'm not bored enough to keep up with Nightmare Empire." The plump professor stated.
"You should, interesting things happen there," said the professor beside her, still smoking his cigar with a smile.
"I won't. Even their royal family doesn't care what happens, so why should I be so nosey?" replied the plump professor, her tone uninterested.

Oblivion Online (complete)
Thanks for permission to use the cover by WanderingInPixels over on Deviant Art. As of 12-15-18, the story is finished. I am planning to edit and will release the books as I finish in one big go, but there isn't a timeline on any of that. Marty had a fairly easy life as a cook for Arctic Storm Entertainment headquarters when he gets an offer from the company to try out a new playstyle for their biggest VRMMORPG, Oblivion Online. Follow him as he makes his way through the game as one of the monster races trying to survive against the forces of light. Author's note: I will update every Monday and Friday for sure, with the possibilities of bonus chapters through the week if I get extra writing done. I also did a disservice to several of my characters early on. I'm slowly working through a re-write, but it will be a while as I want to make sure I get it right this time around.

Maverick Engineer Saga
Arjun, a first-year college student, dies because of a freak mishap and reincarnates in ancient India. Can he survive a harsh life in the ancient era without the needed skill set? Can he come to bear the loss of loved ones? Fate flings various questions and, most important of all, why did he reincarnate? Disclaimer: This story is about a modern man ill-equipped for his time in ancient India. The story delves into the realm of believability instead of wish fulfilment, with a healthy dose of supernatural elements, so no, overpowered MC. The picture is of a placeholder and does not belong to me. If I become rich or the readers donate to it, I would replace the picture. Author note: If you find errors, let me know.
