《Guns in another world》Exam V

As soon as the Invigilator gave the command to begin the fight, the young man jumped back and began distancing himself from the green-haired teen while activating the super strength spell scroll and drinking the mana potion.
The magical items' effect was immediate, as veins all over the young man's body bulged and his body mass increased until he was a 7-foot-tall giant. The young man, sensing his newfound strength, lets out a loud roar of delight as the mana from his body bursts out, scattering dust and debris.
Still not satisfied with his power increase, the young man lets out another deafening roar as a bull projection appears behind him. The bull's entire body was covered in rocks, like armour, and magma could be seen between the gaps of the rocks; however, this magma was purple in colour, unlike normal magma. The horn of the bull was twisted and resembled that of a demon, giving the onlookers a malevolent feeling.
With the summoning of the avatar, the young man's body began to change, as a layer of rocks began to cover his body, creating a protective layer. A thin layer of flame coated the rocks, raising the temperature of his body and causing the air around him to distort.
With his power fully charged, the young man dashed confidently toward the green-haired teen and launched a punch.
When he saw the attack coming at him, the green-haired teen, who had been standing silently up until this point, lifted his hand and released the mana from within. When the mana was released from the green-haired youth's palm, a loud blast of air erupted into the surrounding area, containing thousands of mini wind blades that ravaged the arena, causing crevasses here and there.
When he saw the attack, the young man came to a halt and took a defensive stance, not confident enough to charge straight into the storm of wind blades.

SLASH! BOOOM!
Suddenly, amidst the storm of wind blade, the young man felt a foreboding sensation. Trusting his instincts, the young man ducked to the side, allowing the wind blades to assault his body, leaving gashes here and there. As he dodged the attack, the ground he was standing on caved in, forming a crevice that stretched for metres. The crevice appeared to have been clawed by a primordial beast, giving the person looking at it goosebumps.
Feeling fortunate to have a keen sixth sense, the young man backed away quickly, not wanting to be caught off guard by a surprise attack. But as he took a few steps back, he felt a cold sensation at the back of his neck and heard a male voice from behind him say, "You have lost."
The young man, terrified, slowly turned his head. Looking behind him, he saw the green-haired teen standing mere feet away, his hands, which now resembled eagle claws, placed at his neck like the scythe of grim reaper. The protective layer of stone was easily penetrated, and even his body's high temperature was ineffective against the claws.
The green-haired teen looked entirely different now. A pair of green eagle wings protruded from his back, his hands and legs had been transformed into eagle claws, and his body size had increased significantly in comparison to his skinny self from before.
With the outcome of the match as clear as day, the invigilator declared, without a hint of surprise on her face, "serial number 1 eliminated. Survival time 20 seconds."
Cheers erupted across the arena as the first fight came to a close, the audience enthralled by the green-haired teen's outstanding performance.
On the stand of sector 6.
" Damn! These guys are insanely strong, do you feel better about your turn being late now? " Asked Fionn, surprised by the efficiency with which the green-haired teen eliminated the first examinee.

"Yeah, these guys are really good, which is why I'm feeling an even stronger desire to go fight." Theodore replied, fidgeting in his seat.
Fionn sighed, not knowing what to say in reply to Theodore's response.
On the side of the judging panel.
"Drogo sure has improved; the last time I saw him, he was still having difficulty morphing his body, and look at him now; your teaching is as good as it has always been, professor Priscilla." Floyd said to a lovely middle-aged woman sitting next to him.
"No, I just guided him a little; the credit is all his." Priscilla responded modestly.
"Don't be so modest; I remember him as an arrogant and troublemaking brat. Despite his rank 4 bloodline, no professor was willing to take him under his wing because of his disrespectful behaviour. You took him under your wing at the time, and look where he is now: among the top 50 among the first year. " said Floyd, a little envious .
"You praise him too much; he still has a long way to go," replied Priscilla with a smile, adding, "while we're on the subject of students, did you see any promising seedlings in Sector 6?"

Dragonfall
This fiction is based on a short story I wrote inspired by a prompt on r/WritingPrompts. Contrary to my plans, I haven't sketched out the story in detail or written anything ahead of time. I've discovered I don't do well at that. I'm just writing this thing and we'll see where it takes us, OK?
