"I won't be surprised, just tell me," Fionn replied, his face nonchalant.
"I have the bloodline of the Seraphs," Theodore said, a proud expression on his face.
Fion's mouth opened wide as he heard Theodore's response, and his eyes almost popped out as he stared at him in disbelief.
After a few seconds, he calmed down and said, "You're kidding, right?"
"No, I'm not joking, I'm serious," Theodore said, his face solemn.
"But how can you have Seraph bloodline? From what I know, Seraph bloodline is exclusive to the Sigmund family." Fionn expressed his scepticism.
"Yeah, I'm related to them," Theodore stated matter-of-factly.
"So why are you even taking this exam when you can just walk right into the academy? It's a rank 5 bloodline, for God's sake." Fionn was agitated.
"Well, it's not that simple because, as you know, my surname is Vasquez, not Sigmund. I am not a direct descendant of the Sigmund family's lineage, and my bloodline is not particularly pure, so I must take the entrance exam "Theodore, a little embarrassed, replied.
"I'm perplexed, bro. You stated that you are not from direct linage and that you have Seraph bloodline, so how are you still alive? According to what I understand, bloodline nobility places a high value on their bloodline, so how can an existence like the Sigmund family let you roam free? "Fionn looked baffled.
"Well, I'd rather not talk about it." With a sad expression on his face, Theodore said.
"I understand," Fionn said, not probing any further, realising he was being too nosy.
"You are the first person who believed so quickly that I have Seraph's bloodline; others simply wouldn't believe me because I am so skinny." After a few awkward seconds of silence, Theodore said with a chuckle, soothing the tense atmosphere.

"Can't blame them; people with the bloodline of Seraphs are known for their exceptional appearance," with a smile on his face Fionn replied.
"You know what you're saying is like rubbing salt in wounds." Theodore was pissed.
"Look, it's already nighttime, perfect time to make a move." Fionn got up and quickly changed the subject.
"Yeah, I'm sick of sitting here." Theodore replied, itching to throw a few blows.
With a wave of his hand, Fionn took a cloth from his spatial ring and wrapped it around his face, concealing it.
"You know it won't help you much, right?" Theodore laughed as he observed Fionn's actions.
"Even so, it will keep me from attracting the fatty's immediate attention." Said Fionn while keeping a straight face.
"Is that so? What about your glaring purple hair? No one else in this sector has purple hair except you." Still laughing, Theodore said.
" Night will help me conceal them, see it's even a cloudy sky, no moonlight," Fionn said, pleased with his good fortune.
"All right, let's go." Theodore said as he walked out of the alley, still laughing softly.
Fionn sighed and followed him out; as they walked down the street, they didn't even see a shadow of a person; "Where did everyone go?" Theodore inquired, vexed.
"I'm sure they're hiding or resting after the fight." Fionn responded.
"So, what do we do now?" Theodore questioned.
"You go check the rooftop, and I'll check the alleys. Since it's not permitted to enter the buildings, these are the only two places to hide, but if you see a fatty, run without hesitation." Fionn stated.
"Don't worry, I'm confident in my speed." Theodore replied, confidently giving Fionn a thumbs up.
"What we get now depends on our luck," Fionn said to Theodore, who nodded in response.

SWOOOSH!
Both of them spit up and dashed in different directions, having already decided on a course of action. Fionn enters a nearby alley while Theodore climbs onto the roof of a nearby store.
The sector may not be as large as a city, but it is large enough to provide enough space for examinees to hide in a battle royale with thousands of participants. Fionn came across the first group after searching at full speed for about 15 minutes, dashing from alley to alley.
The group consisted of three girls and five guys who appeared to be eating snacks when Fionn came running into the alley, scaring the crap out of them.
When they noticed Fionn was alone, they all sprang into action, launching attacks on him, enraged by being humiliated.

Authors Note: If you find that the dialogue from the prologue to chapter 5 seem to be not that smooth, I apologize for that, it was my first time writing a fanfic so the dialogue was not in a format that is ideal. However, due to reader comments and some research I will try to attempt to improve the dialogue from chapter 6 and onwards. I may or may not come back to edit the first few chapters since I would have to rewrite most of it and I would rather spend that time writing out more of the story.
