"Let's get started," Fionn said to the man, taking a spear fighting stance.

"Good," the man said with a grin as the muscles all over his body tightened and veins bulged out, giving anyone who saw him a foreboding feeling. Then, in a fraction of a second, he hurled his massive palm in the direction of Fionn, intending to end the match with a single blow.

BOOOM!

The attack missed and landed on the ground, sending dust everywhere as Fionn easily dodged it with a simple sidestep. As the dust settled, the scratchless flooring revealed itself, speaking volumes about the material used in its construction. After dodging, Fionn thrust his spear forward with full force, intending to use the sharp edges of the spear this time.

SWOOOSH!

Surprisingly, despite his massive size, the man dodged the attack quite nimbly, as his massive body shifted positions like a rubber ball.

Dodging Fionn's straight thrust, the man stomping his feet hard on the ground launched himself at Fionn like a canon ball, intending to give him a shoulder tackle.

Fionn, unfazed, thrust his spear straight at his head, hoping to use his momentum against him. The man, not intimidated by Fionn's counter, shifted his posture midway and punched straight at the spearhead, his momentum unaffected.

DAAANNNGGG!

When the fist and the spear collided, a metal-on-metal sound resounded in the area, causing a small shock wave as gusts of wind blew outwards as the impact point served as the centre.

COUGH! COUGH!

Unable to withstand the strong recoil, Fionn flew back a few metres and crashed into the wall of a nearby shop, coughing up a small amount of blood. Slowly rising, he examined the spear in his hand, which had bent out of shape and had its tip broken.

"Well, it wasn't of excellent quality, but I have a lot of memories attached to it," Fionn murmured, feeling a little sad about his old companion.

BOOOM!

Just as Fionn was mourning his loss, goosebumps rose up all over his body as the man's bloodied fist, clearly an injury from the previous clash, came crashing down on him again.

"Damn, can't this guy wait a minute?" Fionn grimaced. Because he didn't have enough time to dodge, Fionn countered the fist with his own, putting all of his power into the punch.

BOOOM!

This time, when the fists connected, both parties were sent flying, though Fionn much more forcefully. Standing near a wall, he slams into it again, this time with a greater force.

"Ouch!, this hurts. This is the first time since my transmigration that someone has bashed me up this badly," Fionn exclaimed, feeling pain all over his body.

"Things can't go on like this any longer, I need a relic to slice open the thick skin of this fatty or else getting beaten up is the only fate that awaits me, and yea, running away is also an option," Fionn thought as he stood up quickly and looked at the man who had also stood up and was looking at him in surprise.

"You've got some strength, boy; aside from my brothers, you're the only one in our generation who has sent me flying with pure brute force." With admiration, the man said.

"Are you of the same generation as me?" Fionn, surprised, asked.

"Of course, otherwise why would I be here giving the entrance exam," the man replied, irritated at his ignorance, and continued while cracking his knuckles, "enough chitchating, let's go."

"I'm not going to fight you without a weapon, do you think I'm an idiot?" Fionn exclaimed as he dashed in the opposite direction after hearing what the man said.

"You coward," the man yelled in rage as he pursued Fionn.

On the roof of a city's tallest building.

"Looks like we've got another interesting fellow," said a teen sitting cross-legged on top of the tower, staring at the fat guy chasing Fionn. The teen has a sluggish expression on his face, and his eyelids appear to be about to droop at any moment.

The teen had crurly brown hair, green eyes, and a handsome but still immature face. He was dressed casually in a loose white shirt and brown pants.

"I really don't understand why people enjoy fighting so much; it's such a waste of energy," yawned the teen as he lay down and closed his eyes; soon, soaring sounds could be heard from the high tower's top.
