Fionn opened the door and entered the room after inserting the keys.
The room was large enough for only two people to live comfortably. The furnishings inside the room were also quite simple, with only a table, a chair, and a medium-sized bed, but the good news is that everything was neat and tidy, and a nice fragrance lingered inside the room as if it had recently been cleaned.
"So this will be my abode for the next 11 days or so." Fionn sighed as he sagged on the bed.
While lying in bed for a while, a thought struck him, leaving him somewhat perplexed: "what am I going to do in these 11 days, unlike other practitioners, I haven't even learned a proper meditation technique, and the basic mediation that I used to do won't have any effect on me now."
With this sudden realisation, Fionn felt a sudden fall of emptiness from within, acknowledging that he had not even learned the most fundamental thing that a practitioner should know.
"Damn, these next 11 days are going to be a pain," Fionn grumbled as he rolled around in his bed in frustration.
Suddenly, Fionn felt a jolt that almost threw him out of bed. "What happened?, is the Airship finally taking off?" he wondered, feeling slight quivers.
Curiously, he walked up to the window and looked out; indeed, the Airship is taking off; all of the ship's arrays are now active, generating huge gusts of wind that lifted the Airship off the ground; additionally, a mana barrier surrounded the Airship as a layer of defence.
Soon, the ship was high in the sky, and the port had shrunk to the size of a small dot looking down from above. "So the journey has officially begun," Fionn said, slumping down on the bed, depressed about the upcoming stale days.

The days passed slowly as Fionn spent most of his time cooped up in his room, talking to Ether through his psychic link and enjoying their journey by sharing his vision, like a movie, because there isn't much to see from his side other than white clouds. Although activating psychic link consumes more mana as the distance increases, this is not a problem for him now due to his enhanced recovery.
Crew members will stop by from time to time to invite him to breakfast, lunch, and dinner, but he will simply ask them to bring it to his room, unwilling to interact with others on the Airship, partly due to Neal's advice and partly due to his own choice.
The journey of Ether and Lucius is going fairly well; they mostly travel at night and rest during the day; food is not an issue because there are many wild animals along the way, though no magical beasts because they mostly reside in the Northern Wildlands; and whenever they encounter any travelling parties, Lucius will carry Ether and avoid them by flying past them through the sky, unwilling to take unnecessary risks.
Overall, they are having a good time on this journey; Fionn is impressed by their performance and also envious of it when compared to his stale journey.
"sigh I've been doing nothing for almost 7 days now, and it's driving me insane." Fionn murmured as he got out of bed and looked out the window at the night sky.
Knock! knock!
"Come in," Fionn said as he heard a knock at the door, knowing that a crew member had arrived to remind him of dinner time.
"Sir, the dinner is ready; do you want to come upstairs or do you want me to bring it to your room?" As he entered the room, a young man inquired.

"I'll come above," Fionn, who was tired of being inside the room, said, looking at the new face.
" What happened to the guy who usually comes?" Fionn inquired, perplexed.
" Oh, we exchanged duties." The young man responded without going into detail, a flash of anger passing through his expression.
Hearing the young man's response, Fionn nodded casually and said, "I understand, thanks for the hard work, I'll be there soon."
"It's our job, sir, no need to thank," the young man replied with a smile as he exited the room, closing the door behind him.
After the young man left, Fionn stretched a little and exited the room, saying, "Let's get some fresh air."

Extermination Order
So it turns out that anime got something right: If you get hit by a truck, you're going to another world. Dennis became subject to that unknown quirk of reality when crossing a busy city street (despite having looked both ways). But that was quite some years ago. He's been around this new world 'Nassur' a time or two and knows how to live a good life. He also knows that adventuring friggin sucks. So, what is a man to do in a fantasy world with a shoddy leveling system that constantly suggests getting more XP, and a condition set by the gods that you must make the world a better place? Pest extermination. But reality is often fickle. Perhaps one day it is only rats, another, mechanical centipedes with lasers. Maybe the Dark Lord needs a shoulder to cry on because his dungeon simply can't be ready in time for the adventurers he likes to do battle against. Another poor soul from Earth could appear just as dazed and confused as the day you'd first arrived, requiring a good long talk about 'hey, what the hell is this, man'. And maybe... just maybe, that thick book of owed favors comes back to haunt you. For a man who desires a peaceful, productive life, Dennis can find it rather difficult for a week to go by where something doesn't go awry. This series originally started on r/HFY, [Link] but I decided to post it here since people are so positive about it! Posting rate is, and likely will continue to be, rather inconsistent. I am but Divine
Being a god is a dream. A very big, ambitious dream that probably no one has ever achieved. In the world of Taerrea, there were a set amount of gods that ruled over the world; the god of war, the god of the skies, the god the earth, etc. and that the general rule of thumb was that the numbers of the gods could not be added nor removed. That changed after one fateful event. Nemer, a Slayer, had died from a battle, and from a deal he made with a doubtedly wise god of wisdom and knowledge, Wize, he became the first ever lesser god.
