《Guns in another world》Onwards to Legacy l

Fionn returned to the city after finishing his business with Ether and Lucius at 8:00 a.m., and as he had nothing else to do, he chose to head to Northern Port.
He took out his guide book from his spatial ring and began following the directions it provided. Along the way, he took in the sights around him; since it was business hours, the roads had become congested, the stores had almost all opened, and the restaurants were packed with people eating breakfast.
Fionn was enjoying the sights while walking down the roads when, after approximately 15 minutes, he felt a rush of cool breeze strike him from front; elated, he increased his speed, knowing he was getting close to his destination. As he moved his head, he could feel the winds picking up, but they weren't unbearable. He also noticed the buildings around him diminish in quantity, and the ones that remained were extremely high-end.
The road he was on was heading uphill, concealing what was behind him, so the growing winds and receding building were building anticipation for what was to come, and he soon arrived at the top of the hill. Standing on the hill top, when his eyes caught the scene in front of him, he exclaimed, his expression one of amazement. "Wow, this is amazing!"
Fionn saw a vast Meadow from the hilltop, a scene similar to gazing at the never-ending ocean from the beach, but instead of raging sea waves, what was present was fluttering green grass. Several massive airships could be seen taking off and landing in a systematic manner in the grassland, sending blasts of air everywhere in the process.
Squads of city guards could be seen managing the flow of people coming in and out of the port, and labourers could be seen loading luggage and cargo onto Airships.

Suddenly, a carriage stopped beside him, and a voice from inside said, "hey, bro, it's me, come inside."
Fionn, who was still taking in the scenery, turned around and, surprised, looked at the carriage, saying, "Neal, is that you?"
"Yep, it's me, come inside." Neal responded while popping his head out of the window.
When Fionn noticed the all-too-familiar face, he smiled, walked up to the carriage, entered it, and took the seat opposite Neal.
"You arrived early, and I was surprised to see you." Neal stated.
"I had nothing better to do, so I came." Fionn replied honestly, then asked, "Did you manage to arrange a room for me?"
"Of course, how can I back down from my words? I doubled the pay of crew members for this trip, and they gladly emptied one of their rooms for you. " Replied Neal, adding, "But I must warn you that the situation is rather unstable nowadays due to what the Larson family did recently, so there is a slim chance that you will be delayed."
Hearing the familiar name, the image of Alexis and Liliana appeared in Fionn's mind, and he asked curiously "What happened? I'm a little behind on current events because of my experiments."
"The Larson family, along with some other noble families, destroyed four Rune bearer strongholds, killing all members on sight. The incident was so significant that it drew the attention of some capital powerhouses, and the emperor even rewarded the families that participated. Enraged by the incident, Rune bearers are seeking vengeance by attacking the involved parties' families. " Neal responded, then sensing the tense atmosphere, he added, "but don't worry, they won't attack you because you are a potential Legacy student, they don't have that kind of guts."

"Oh, why are you so sure? If they have the guts to make enemies with the Helios empire, why won't they dare to do the same with Legacy, aren't both of them similar in power?" Fionn inquired.
"Well, they are similar in power, but Legacy has methods no one can imagine, from the holiest of spells to the most vicious dark spells, they have them all, it's more frightening to have Legacy as an enemy than all three empires combined." Neal replied, his eyes shining with admiration.
" Makes sense," Fionn agreed, then inquired, "oh right, do you have any updates on the mutant beast I sold at the auction, like how is he doing?"
"Oh, don't worry about him; you could say he's a minor celebrity in the city these days; thanks to his connections in the hunters guild, master Raymond was able to purchase a companion certificate for that beast, and he now takes him everywhere he goes in the city like a baby. That beast has grown to the size of a wolf and is quite intimidating in appearance; I've heard that people from outside the city come to see master Raymond just to get a glimpse of that beast." Neal responded with a chuckle.
