As the Awakening process progressed, seconds turned into minutes, but there were no signs of the process coming to an end.
High in the sky...
WOOOOOOOOSH! WOOOOOOOOSH!
The wind was howling and dust was flying everywhere, reducing visibility.
Fionn, who was standing on his skysurfboard in the midst of the raging winds, scanned the area below with his eyes squinted, looking for any enemies.
"Until now, everything is clear; hopefully, this guy's awakening will come to an end soon." Fionn thought, his face worried, as he looked at the Mutated Anomaly, which was engulfed in a tornado of wind.
"What's the situation on your end, Buddy?" Fionn inquired of Ether through his psychic link.
GROWL! GROWL! GROWL!
Urgent growling came from the other side in response to Fionn's question.
Because of their bond, Fionn understood Ether's meaning and responded sternly, "Just keep a stealthy eye on them; there's no need to engage with them."
Fionn had sent Ether ahead to assess the situation, and because of his excellent stealth abilities and speed, Fionn was not too much concerned about his safety.
"It will begin soon," Fionn murmured, gazing into the distance after responding to Ether's reply.
ROOOOAAAAR!
Soon after, a roar from the distance shook the entire atmosphere, and with it, the sounds of heavy footsteps rocked the ground as if it was an earthquake, trees in the distance began to fall, and dust clouds rose into the sky, further reducing visibility.
Fionn's eyes widened as he watched the following scene: after the roar, the sky in the distance turned red, as if it were daybreak, and the temperature in the area skyrocketed, all of the trees around Fionn caught fire and began to burn vigorously, draconic roars continued to echo in the sky as if announcing the arrival of doom, and a Salamander, which from afar appeared to be a ball of fire amidst the burning sky, could be seen flying with great speed towards Fionn's location.

"Don't tell me this is the real deal." Fionn sighed, a little scared.
Fionn then turned his attention to the other side and inquired of Ether through his psychic link. "Can you show me what's going on on your side, Buddy?"
" GROWL," Ether confirmed, and the scene in Fionn's eyes shifted as his deep blue eyes turned a little red.
The sight that greeted him was of thousands of Cyclopes marched with a Lizardman in the lead, destroying the forest in their path.
"Damn, even this guy showed up; how are we going to fight this line-up? It was still unclear whether I could fight the Salamander, and with the Lizardman commanding the Cyclopes, how could I allow Ether to fight them when that Lizardman is at least as powerful as a rank 1" Fionn sighed, annoyed by the unfolding situation.
Suddenly, he felt as if the raging winds around him had slowed down, Fionn, perplexed, turned around and saw the mutated Anomaly struggling inside the tornado of wind.
" It seems that he is having difficulty gathering mana as a result of the disturbance caused by the Salamander and his army of Cyclopes." Fionn thought, sensing the erratic mana flow in the area.
Fionn took out a pile of mana crystals and threw them inside the tornado without hesitation.
Getting the boost from all the mana crystals the mutated anomaly stopped struggling, an immense mana force erupted as the combined mana from all the mana crystals entered the mutated Anomaly's body.
Fionn's face darkened as he continued to throw mana crystals inside the tornado and thought distressedly "Is this guy a pig, just how many more crystals would he consume? This plane has to hold something valuable or I'm going to lose big time."

But one thing is certain: the mana crystal appears to have accelerated his awakening, the tornado grew increasingly fast in side with Fionn recklessy throwing mana crystals inside of it.
BOOOOOOM!
Suddenly the tornado dispersed with an explosion, Fionn, caught off guard, flew quite a distance before landing steadily on the ground, as he got up, he noticed the mutated Anomaly floating in the air, his four pairs of wings open, apart from making his scales look more metallic and his muscles more ripped, the awakening had made no visible changes to his body.
The mutated Anomaly slowly opened his eyes and glared into the distance, his eyes filled with rage.
"Will he exact vengeance on the Salamander for interfering with his awakening?" Fionn thought, a little excited.
