Fionn stared, astonished, looked at Ether wreaking havoc below, thinking "Damn, I just asked him to cause some chaos, but this guy is going on a full-fledged massacre; if this continues, it will be extremely tough for me to obtain an Anomaly."
ROARRR!
A pained roar could be heard as the muscular Cyclopes flew back, one arm severed, coughing up blood.
Hearing that howl, the other weaker Cyclopes just stared around like retards, left and right. Limiting their senses appears to have reduced them to the level of zombies.
The visibility was still poor, but from Fionn's vantage point one could still see a massive wolf with reddish black fur steadily approaching the muscular Cyclopes, who was laying on the ground with his chest caved in and one arm missing.
Ether was rather intimidating in his domain of blood fog; being in the presence of so much blood appears to have buffed him tremendously. The exhaustion from so much slaughter is nowhere to be found; instead, he appears to be ready for another round, his brilliant red eyes reflecting his excitement.
His claws and fangs are now sharper, his muscles are more prominent, his fur is thicker and has a metallic feel, and his bulk appears to have increased considerably.
"Buddy, flee immediately, leave him alone, the main force is approaching." Through his psychic link, Ether, who was ready to deliver the killing blow, heard Fionn's urgent voice.
Hearing Fionn's command, Ether ran immediately, destroying his domineering demeanour; even the muscular Cyclopes on the edge of death gaped stunned at the quickness with which he fled.
Moments after Ether had fled. with a loud BOOOM! A gust of wind dispersed the blood Fog in the area, allowing the Cyclopes to restore their senses.
The half-dead muscular Cyclopes struggled to his feet and peered behind him; what greeted him was a creature roughly 3m tall, his entire body coated in blue reptilian scales. He had the visage of a lizard and the eyes of a dragon. He carried a broadsword in his hand and peered out into the distance with ruthlessness in his eyes.

There were six more Cyclopes comparable to the muscular Cyclopes behind the Lizardman, and as he glanced about at the massacre, his eyes grew colder. Taking a deep breath, he yelled in his native language at the dumbly staring Cyclopes.
Fionn mused on the Lizardman's actions as he hid inside the black haze in the sky, watching the entire event. "This guy seems to be quite intelligent, he even knows how to use magic."
After some commanding and arranging, the Lizardman gathered a massive army of Cyclopes and stormed into the forest.
Fionn smirked contemptuously, thinking, "Even if these guys find Ether, they'll never be able to capture him."
Looking around the now-empty settlement, fionn moved cautiously towards the magical array in the centre.
The closer he approached to the array, the faster the pendant consumed his mana.
"The Core of the plane must be somewhere around here," thought Fionn, feeling the accelerated mana consumption.
The settlement was erected in a big clearing in the midst of the forest, with the majority of the land remaining undeveloped for the weaker Cycplopes to roam. A few hundred crude huts were built near the centre, around the array, and were most likely occupied by the stronger Cyclopes and Lizardmen.
Finally reaching the sky above the array, Fionn noticed about 5 muscular Cyclopes guarding the place, as well as a large cave just a few metres away from the array; the Lizardman had previously come from the hut next to this cave, so Fionn suspected the occupant of this cave, if there is one, was still inside.
The weaker Cyclopes were guiding all the newly born Anomalies inside the cave, while the muscular ones stood guard.
Fionn withdrew a scroll from his spatial ring after inspecting the entire area, thinking to himself, "sigh, if I had learned these battlespells, I could have saved so much crystals on these spell scrolls."
Then, with a green flash, a desert eagle appeared in his hand, and when the magic scroll was activated, a grey film covered his desert eagle.
Fionn nodded, pleased with the results of the magic scroll, and pointed the gun at the nearest Cyclopes, saying, "Let's see how well this silence spell works."

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.

“You get 10 million coins, but a magic immortal snail will spawn within 10 kilometers of you. It is as fast as a regular snail, but it will always be chasing you. If it touches you - you die. Do you take the deal?” This obscure message is the first thing you see along with a gun near your head. What will you do if you don't even know where or who you are? Problem...Yeah... I would even call it 'The immortal snail problem'. Improvisational writing. I will try to make small irregular updates. There may be polls. Enjoy.

The Ramayana - Lakshmila's POV
We have read The Ramayana as kids and always knew it to be the story of Rama and his consort Sita. Every character has an important role to play. But not all of them have found much importance is any of the version. One such character is Urmila and her story with Lakshmana. All versions mention Urmila's sacrifice as "Unparalleled" but none depicted it. This story is an attempt to present the story of Ramayana from Urmila and Lakshmana's POV. Note : This story is fictional. The characters are the same. This story is an insight of The Ramayana through Lakshman and Urmila's eyes. There would be Nobody's POV also. The events are the same but the depiction is part of fiction. Parts of the story is loosely based/inspired from Sita's Sister but I have taken creative liberty to give my character more edge and depth.
