For about twenty minutes, Fionn stood there like a statue with his eyes shut, whereas his body was emitting intense green light.
Fionn's complexion became paler with each passing moment.
Looking at this Scene Edric's smile became even more pronounced.
" What do you think will happen to him?" Asked Shannon, worriedly.
"I think he's gonna be okay, based on what I can say about him, he's not impulsive." Replied Glenn.
As Fionn's complexion was getting paler, a mark of golden sun gradually began to appear on Fionn's forehead and Started shining brightly.
"What's that?" Said Glenn, abruptly, while narrowing his eyes.
Soon after Glenn said that the surrounding crowd also noticed the change in Fionn's body and started discussing animatedly.
Ederic's smile froze, as soon as he witnessed the changes" What is he trying to do now? , an innate spell? , but what kind of innate spell can save him at this juncture, Especially, since this guy appears to have no bloodline.
Time ticked by the crowd grew impatient.
"Boy, that was really dangerous."said Fionn, suddenly, while opening his eyes.
"I might have gotten screwed today if I hadn't had the Descendant of the Golden Sun passive, that accelerated recovery was a life saver." Thought Fionn, a bit scared.
Suddenly he noticed something.
The crowd stared at him intently, as if he was a zoo animal on display.
" Is there something on my face?" Asked Fionn, baffled.
"Nothing, it's just that you've been standing there for 45 minutes, everybody believed you were going to die." Explained Shannon with a chuckle.
"It can't be, it can't be..., how did you survive that poison? Even a rank 2 might not be able to survive it, so how could a bloodline less practitioner like you? , You must have cheated. " Cried Edric with hysteria as if his chastity had been stolen.

"Why are you getting angry, I'll still give you crystals, I'm genuinely satisfied with that poison of yours." Said Fionn, poking fun of Edric.
" I don't need your crystals, tell me honestly what trick did you use." Replied Edric, keeping his rage in check.
"Do you think all the surrounding people are blind? , I used my own abilities to examine your poison. " Said Fionn, frankly.
When Edric was about to explode again, a hand grasped his shoulder.
"Young master, don't make a spectacle of yourself, "Said a man with a muscled figure and a bearded face.
Edric calmed down as he observed the stern expressions on the other parties face.
"I won't say anything if you defame yourself, but your current actions will have an impact on the family's reputation, so it's best if you withdraw and keep your promise." Continued the man with a stern tone.
In this world, a person cannot be considered defaming his or her family reputation, unless he or she violates the core principles of the family
" Where do you want the goods delivered? " Edric asked, his teeth clenched, while staring at Fionn.
"Send it to Pearl Lodge" answered Fionn concisely.
Hearing Fionn's response, Edric said nothing and left with his entourage, but the rage from being humiliated could be seen on his face.
Fionn looked at the crowd with despair after Edric had left, thinking, "How should I deal with them?, I am exhausted"
Glenn gloated and said, "Serves you right, who asked you to summon such a large crowd?"
Fionn took a deep breath and braced himself for a long afternoon.
2 hours later..
Fionn sat in Glenn's store, a gloomy expression on his face.
"So, how was the review session?"inquired, Glenn cautiously.
"Are the citizens of this kingdom uneducated buffoons?" questioned Fionn, still gloomy.

" Well, most of them are uneducated, why did you ask" replied Glenn
"I asked them to bring poisons that could kill practitioners, and all they brought were rat poisons and some randomly jumbled up toxin, how could they be so blinded by greed?, wasting my whole afternoon." Said Fionn with tears in his eyes.
"It's your fault, you asked them," Glenn replied with a chuckle.
"So, what are your plans from now on?, I know you won't be in this city for long."asked Shannon, who's been quiet this entire time.
" I'll leave tomorrow" replied Fionn, after thinking For a while

Giant monsters roam the land Civilization is frozen in a savage age. For the beast slayer Alden, power and survival are one and the same. But the angry ghost trapped inside the blade has other ideas. Buckle up for the brutal LitRPG ride of a lifetime Savage Hunters is an alternate-world neolothic fantasy. Characters grow their powers with explicit stat blocks presented right in the text, including levels, attribute scores, and unlockable skill trees. Experience is accumulated by battling enormous monsters the size of buildings. Political intrigue and romance elements ramp up as the series progresses. I originally wrote this story after playing Monster Hunter with my niece. She was 12 at the time, already an avid reader, and wanted to read my other published books. I'm a licensed psychotherapist specializing in severe trauma so I tend toward darker fiction. I told her my usual books are too brutal for her but I'd write her something special. The result was this series, which has been praised by both teens and adults for its depth and universal appeal. It begins with an emphasis on cultural elements because I consulted with a trained anthropologist to craft this neolithic setting down to exacting social detail. After these opening chapters, it rapidly shifts to an action-packed adventure. The first 3 books are fully written as of November 2020, totalling approximately 69 chapters. The first book has been professionally edited already. The following two books require some editing which I'll do on a chapter-by-chapter basis as releases progress. I welcome reviews and comments. Writing is a passion, and reader engagement makes my labor all the sweeter.
