《Netherwyrm god》54- Rescue

With Kane, the dragon and the netherwyrm sword out of commission, Devinn had no choice but to resolve the matter on his own.

“Arcane will. Infuse all the origin energy we have into my blood.” Devinn said as he flew towards the blue armored general, Arun.

As all the origin was pumped into his blood, he instantly became a ten-meter giant that he immediately retracted to his previous height.

The physical buff could only be maintained for a short time and he planned on ending the fight as fast as possible.

Devinn’s and Arun’s meeting created a shockwave that shook the entire world.

Arun watched in disbelief as a hole the size of a fist appeared on his blue armor. He immediately retreated and let Helios exchange blows with Devinn in his stead.

Helios’ red armor was once again given a buff from the red lightning. After seeing the result of Arun’s first exchange with the weird human, he was even warier of Devinn’s strength.

He summoned tendrils of lightning on his fists as he clashed with Devinn.

Devinn’s Arcane energy was recovering at a faster rate than before under the physical buff of origin energy, but he could not use it yet. He had to wait until there was enough to win the fight.

Devinn found that he was evenly matched with Helios.

They traded punches for a moment until both retreated.

Arun then said: “Looks like you are evenly matched. With me around, we can win.”

Helios said: “No. I got the feeling that he is saving some portion of his power for later.”

“The king keeps supplying us with origin energy, how can we possibly lose.” Arun said.

As Helios and Arun were exchanging tactics, Devinn was speaking with Alwyn and Alpha who were impatiently waiting in the absolute unity prime reality: “I’m about to teleport these two to the both of you, so I can take care of the King.”

“Do it fast. I can’t wait to vent my anger on someone right now.” Said Alpha. He had come to save his daughter but found that he could not do a thing against the scheming Darius.

When Helios and Arun had finished talking, they attacked Devinn from two different directions.

Devinn just had enough arcane energy to send the two generals inside the Absolute unity prime reality for Alwyn and Alpha to take care of.

Once the two generals were cut off from the king, they were nothing more than sitting ducks waiting to be killed in a world that belonged to Devinn and the others.

“Alright, I am sending them to you.” Said Devinn as a formless energy appeared before him.

The formless energy bound the two generals and then teleported them inside the Absolute unity prime reality.

The King, Darius, could not believe what had just happened.

His generals who had the upper hand and were winning had just disappeared in a place that he could not sense. In fact, he had lost his connection to the two generals.

Devinn then appeared before the panic-stricken king.

“Where is Alpha’s daughter?” Devinn asked.

Darius then tried to activate the teleportation ring he had.

Devinn then immediately grasped Darius’s neck tightly saying: “I will follow you wherever you go and torture you until you tell me where she is.”

The king was terrified. He had never met someone who used a powersource that escaped his control.

It could be said that Devinn was his nemesis.

Before Devinn, Darius was nothing but a sitting duck waiting to be slaughtered.

“My patience has limits.” Devinn said.

“She...She is in my palace.” Darius managed to say.

“Good. Teleport us there.” Devinn commanded.

The king then activated the teleportation ring.

In the Absolute unity prime reality.

Helios and Arun were in a sorry state before Alwyn and Alpha.

“Friends. Hear us out” Helios said.

“Why should we listen to you? Just answer our questions.” Alwyn said.

“Is my daughter safe?” Alpha asked the question that had been bugging him for a while.

Helios then said: “Yes. She is perfectly safe. Azura was sealed by the King Himself.”

“Alright. We’ll know for sure in a moment. If something happens to her...I promise to kill anyone who hurt her even if it takes me an eternity.” Alpha said.

Devinn and the King arrived in a spacious hall.

“After you.” Devinn loosened the grasp he had on the king and followed behind him.

“Arcane will. Look out for anything suspicious. The moment he activates his teleportation ring I want to know. I’m not a fan of surprises.” Devinn commanded.

The arcane will then answered: “We are heading towards an energy signature that is similar to Alwyn and Alpha.”

Devinn thought for a moment: “He is probably trying to get to that weapon that was forged with Alpha’s body. Or Azura is in the same direction.”

“Arcane will. Use Lin’s bloodline to look for her daughter amidst all the living creatures in this palace.” Devinn said.

The arcane was silent for a moment and said: “She is in the opposite direction. She appears to have been sealed.”

“He is leading us to the weapon instead. He wants to fight me and if he can control it, with all the origin energy that he can wield, he is going to be difficult to stop. I also do not know that Azura will be safe if I kill him.” Devinn thought.

“Arcane will. How long until the temporal Bloodline buff wears off?” Devinn asked.

“ One minute and thirty-six seconds. In that amount of time, we will also have enough arcane energy to teleport out of here.” The arcane will said.

Devinn did not need to think as he grasped the neck of the king and flew to the other direction.

Darius cursed his bad luck.

“How did he find out?” was what Darius was asking himself.

Devinn was following the arcane will’s directions as he punched through walls. Trying to get to Azura as fast as he could.

When he arrived in the room that she was sealed in, there was only one minute left.

She looked like an angel in the transparent coffin that she was resting in.

“Unseal her, if you want to live.” Devinn threatened.

Darius then advanced toward the coffin with a gloomy look.

He touched it and ripples of origin energy were seen before the coffin opened on its own.

Azura’s eyes opened at the same time.

She looked just like her mother but had multicolored hair.

In panic, she jumped at the king and started punching him but she was too weak to even do anything.

Devinn stopped her and explained the situation to her. She then calmed herself down.
