《Netherwyrm god》48- Bloodline master

Inside Dolok's palace

"I must say, this is quite the most perfect puppet I've ever seen...So simply made yet unfathomable. The blue core is the key…" a man in lavish clothes said as he scoured the puppet with his soul sense.

Dolok advanced and asked the man: "Master Hal. Please do not keep us in the dark. What is its strength and how is the blue core made?"

Master Hal then forgot the puppet and turned to look at Dolok ignoring the rest of the crowd: "Before I answer your questions, I would like to know who made this puppet."

"The master of the gray puppet you've been hearing so much about." Dexter said as he took the initiative to answer before Dolok.

"Oh…I guess it explains everything. I saw the recordings of the fight as I was coming here…truly a rare sight to see a dual elements puppet…" Master Hal was lost in his thoughts.

"About the blue core..." Dexter urged.

"Yes…yes…The blue core is actually made of pure origin energy…something that we can easily create. But it seems that there are built-in functions that are impossible to recreate…those functions are the absorption of origin energy…the blue core has to continuously feed the corpse origin energy…and as long as there is origin energy for the core to feed on, the core is indestructible…" Master Hal said.

"I was under the impression that Sealers could replicate it…but what of its strength?" Dolok asked.

"The eighth level of the Alpha god realm…" Master Hal said.

"What?" the entire crowd was in turmoil…

Damian was in the crowd. He was the red armored man the gray puppet had beaten. Learning that a casually made puppet had surpassed him by one level was a huge blow to him.

Damian said: " Why would he give you a puppet stronger than the one that beat me?"

"Maybe he can make it even stronger or maybe he was using the weakest puppet he had…you'll never find out unless you go to war with him...personally, I'd rather be a friend to such a frightening puppet master…" Master Hal said.

Dolok then said: " Why do I feel like you are hiding something from us?"

"The puppet can slowly grow in strength the more origin energy you feed the blue core…there is a chance of seeing it reach the eleventh level of the alpha god realm…even the omega god realm isn't out of the equation…" Master Hal said.

Devinn had no idea of the dread he forced all of Dolok's guests to feel.

Creating a puppet with a fixed level was one thing, but creating a puppet with the ability to grow over time was unheard of.

Puppet were instruments of protection for some or instruments of war for others.

For a Sealer, an individual who chose soul augmentation rather than body augmentation, a powerful puppet that could gain him some time to launch a soul or elemental attack was his very life.

"You said Omega god realm?" Dolok almost screamed out with a hint of fear in his voice.

"Of course, but you might never condense enough origin energy for the puppet to reach the Omega god level." Master Hal said.

"Even if we go to war with the Bluebird family, we must get that three-eyed kid to give us the method he used to create this puppet." Dexter said as greed finally seeped inside him.

Master Hal looked at the greedy faces in front of him. He had to admit that even himself felt like torturing the method out of the puppet’s maker for himself.

Master Hal warned: “If he can casually make a puppet of the Alpha god realm at the eighth level in under a week, are you sure you want him as an enemy?” He stopped for a moment to let them digest his words. He continued: “He is a god. A weak one? Yes, but he is immortal. Tell me if it takes a week to make this puppet with how long he’s been alive, how many puppets does he have on him now? And how strong are they? ...Think about it...”

The crowd seemed to start seeing things clearly. Their greed was soon replaced by fear.

Dolok said: “Okay...even if what you say may be the truth...he is far too weak on his own. If we cut him off of the storage treasure that stores all his puppets he is done for.”

Master Hal inwardly sighed and said: “You seem to forget that he is part of the Bluefire army of the Bluebird family. You also strong-armed this three-eyed kid to give you a puppet out of greed but what if his answer was to scare you off telling you: Look I made it in a single week, are you sure you want to go to war with me?”

Dolok, Dexter and the crowd then realized something.

Dexter started trembling from head to toe.

Dolok said: “A new faction. The balance that we’ve been maintaining in the Omega prime reality is about to collapse because of a single puny Quintessential God. If I an elder of the Mallory family cannot dare to try and kill him, no one else can, except our patriarch.”

Master Hal said:“Took you all long enough to realize it. The problem here is that he chose to hide in the Bluebird family. What are his intentions? No one knows. We don’t even know where he comes from. Just call for a grand summit and share your findings with the other two families. In the meantime, I will try to see if I can reverse engineer this blue core.”

They all teleported away leaving Master Hal alone with the puppet.

In truth, he did not have confidence in being able to recreate the blue core of origin energy and its properties, but the time he spent forging puppets as a sealer was incalculable. He was also one of the very firsts Sealers to ever exist still alive.

Devinn was looking at the fifth Alpha god realm puppet in front of him and was feeling impatient. He wanted to have a dozen in his possession so he could have them fuse together but it took close to a week to create another Alpha god level puppet.

Fusing puppets of the same level, guaranteed at least a chance at leveling up a level in the same realm.

Devinn wanted to become an Alpha god level but did not know how to explain it to others.

He planned on gradually fusing with Quintessential puppets and keep the Alpha god realm puppets as trump cards should he ever find himself in a bind.

“Fuse.” He said as he commanded the five Alpha god puppets to fuse.

They fused together. The process was a bit slower than usual as they were stronger.

Alpha god level 2

Alpha god level 3

Alpha god level 4

“Since a level 1 could beat than red armored man at the 7th level, I wonder how strong this Alpha god level 4 puppet is.” Devinn said.

He then went to find a few Quintessential god puppets that he fused with.

He reached the next 2nd level of the Quintessential god realm.

The three ruling families grand summit.

Four individuals were given seats of honor on the roundtable. They were the patriarchs and matriarchs of the three families.

They were :

For the Stone family: Bertram Stone and Cederic Stone

For the Mallory family: Judithe Mallory

For the Bluebird family: Marc Bluebird.

They had reached the peak of the Omega prime reality power levels. All of them were at the Omega god realm level 1. They all looked young.

In front of them, their elders conversed among themselves.

Bertram Stone said: “Judithe. You say that there is a troublesome fellow in Marc’s army? Troublesome enough to call for a grand summit?”

Judithe looked at Bertram and said: “Once my men present the problem to you, you will naturally understand. I also asked Marc for any available intelligence he can find about our target.” She was looking at Marc at the end of her speech.

Marc shrugged his shoulders and said: “I have close to nothing on him. In the registration form, it says that he is called, Devinn, and he is only a three-eyed Sealer that went adventuring from a remote prime reality.”

Master Hal then arrived in the room with two coffins in tow.

“Matriarch.Patriarchs.” Said Master Hal as he bowed.

Judithe then said: “This is Master Hal. I’m sure you must’ve heard of him. He worked on the puppet that the target forged for us for a while and found a few things about it. Master Hal, please explain the specifics to them.”

“Yes. Matriarch.” said Master Hal. He continued as he opened the two coffins to reveal two puppets with the same blue core embedded in their chests: “This blue core is something that has more value than these puppets...It can absorb origin energy and then feed it to the puppet which will level up in grade. It is also indestructible even if a speck of it remains...it will just absorb more origin energy to recover....All those commands that are inscribed into the core cannot be perfectly replicated, but we can create a blue core out of pure origin energy and make it so that the puppet master makes the puppet feed on the blue core instead of the other way around in which the blue core feeds the puppet...”

"..."

“So you’ve succeeded in reverse engineering it...” Marc Bluebird asked.

“Not close to perfection but it can be considered a good start considering I only had just a week to study the puppet.” Master Hal said.

“Good. We do not need that three-eyed kid anymore...No matter what trump cards he has, he must be taken care of before he becomes a problem.” Cederic Stone said.

“Agreed”

“Hum?” Devinn felt a ripple from the outside coming from his crystal.

“Something is happening back home.” Devinn said as he sent an incarnation at the coordinates the ripple had come from.

It was Markus’ little planet.

As Devinn descended towards the planet, a trembling Markus then came running from his own palace and hid behind him.

Devinn asked: “Are you not overdoing it a little? Your copy is about to revive your creator. What is there to fear?”

It was as Devinn had said, the copy of Markus had finally broken through the Law of time and was now acquiring new memories.

“He is a madman. They sought to kill him and hunted him for eons because of that crazy head of his.” Markus said.

“What did he do exactly?” Devinn rolled his eyes.

“He created elementals and other powerful lifeforms.” Markus said as a loud hum was heard as a young man walked out Markus’s palace.

The young man looked at Devinn with a puzzled face.

“For once in my lifetime, I cannot comprehend something.” He said looking at Devinn. He continued: “I can still smell my bloodline on you even though you got rid of it for that power I cannot comprehend. I have a good general idea of all the power sources out there but you...What are you?”

Devinn felt like he had no need to lie: “Seven power sources fused together in the same body.”

“I see. We are more alike than I thought. You know a fusion between power sources rarely works. You got lucky or else there would have been disastrous after-effects. ” The young man said. He added: “That new power source of yours, what can it do?”

“Everything I wish for.” Devinn said.

The young man laughed for a moment and said: “That’s exactly what I wanted for the elementals my most powerful bloodline. The other lifeforms are just byproducts that failed to meet my expectations, but they are still powerful enough compared to the humans. You see compared to you, when we elementals comprehend the elements to a deeper level, which is easier for us by the way, nothing is impossible. We even stand a chance at breaking through the Omega god level...

“My name is Markus Alpha.”

“Devinn.”

“If you were still an elemental, I could’ve given you a suitable gift for keeping these elementals safe and letting me use your absolute unity law, but you are something else... I can see that you are in the Omega prime reality...If those kids at the omega god realm over there ever annoy you, just tell me. I will take care of everything.” Alpha said.

Devinn asked: “What will you do for now?”

“I will stay here and give some advice to these elementals. My strength is at the Omega god realm level 1 and I have gained insights into all the elements to that level. I did not have the time to care for my bloodline last time. I should at least prepare them for the next war. This time I do not plan on losing.” Alpha said.

Devinn finally understood the real goal of Alpha. He asked: “War against whom?”

“I named my self Alpha because I once ruled the Alpha prime reality. I plan on going back home to retrieve something that is important to me.”

“Then I shall leave the elementals in your care.”Devinn’s incarnation then disappeared leaving the old trembling Markus alone to deal with the young Alpha.

Devinn’s incarnation was slowly walking back and forth inside his palace in the absolute unity prime reality.

“Why am I so unlucky? I try to find a safe place with abundant resources for the elementals to strive in and I find myself forced to go to war.”

“This master of the elemental bloodline plans on going to war for the simple reason of retrieving something. Not to take back his home or something beneficial to us.”

“I must become stronger than him if I want to at least have some control over the situation. For now, he is useful to the elementals. If they have him as a teacher, they will advance almost as fast as the absolute unity law helps them level up.”

“Hum?...an assassination attempt?” The incarnation’s real body was almost obliterated by a blue violent fire.
