《Netherwyrm god》43- Quintessential God

Devinn finally understood what being a Quintessential God meant as he became one.

They saw what no one else could see.

The world was just a single gigantic machine that held no appeal to them.

They had lived and thrived in the prime realities.

They broke through their Laws and created theirs leaving an indelible mark on the world.

Yet, It was never enough for them…

They just left…

They left to do what they had always been doing…

They left for the only place that could help them nourish that thirst for power.

The place they were going to, held many dangers for immortal beings such as themselves. After all, a Quintessential God could not die in his domain. His element was everlasting…

In that place, they were the lowest of existences.

“All this time, I’ve never realized that my arcane energy was also an element.” Devinn mused to himself.

The new Devinn was a god that truly stood above all thanks to his arcane energy.

At the moment, he could choose whether he could be affected by the absolute unity Law. He stood above law themselves as his own Law was his every wish.

“Devinn, I have a request.” Markus said.

“What is it?” Devinn asked. He could tell that Markus was hiding a few secrets of his own without really looking into it in the future.

“As you already know, I am but a remnant will of my creator, but over the years, I developed my own personality...My creator left a seal on me. Once I break through the shackles of the laws of time, my body will become suitable for his memories that are sealed in time to resurface and I will disappear forever. I need your help to...” Before Markus could finish, he felt a wave of energy wash over him.

He saw a copy of him next to him looking at him with a blank expression. They both had the same incredulous face.

“I copied you and then erased the seal on the original. I hope that the copy will not ask for his version of the seal to be erased as well.” Said an amuse Devinn.

“Of course not. Hehe...I will have a friend to talk with before I am no more.” The copy said.

Markus and his copy then left.

“What a weird and funny fellow.”Thought Devinn. He continued: “I wonder what level he was at before he left a will behind to protect the elementals.”

Markus and his copy then left.

A few days later.

“Devinn. What are you going to do now?” Alwyn asked.

Kane, the Netherwyrm sword spirit, was also there with the little dragon perched on his shoulders.

They sat in the air as they drank wine.

“I am now too strong for this world. I will soon leave for another world.” Devinn.

“What kind of world is it?”Kane asked.

“With my new powers, I can feel them. Two prime realities that are ancient and big enough to be considered the very firsts prime realities. The beings living there are also as strong as I am with many being stronger than I am.” Devinn said.

“Can’t you wait before we all reach the god level? Why the rush?” Alwyn asked.

“I just wanted to go for reconnaissance. I want to know whether it’s a good environment for us.” Devinn said.

As Alwyn and Kane sat there with Devinn, they had no idea what was happening outside or that they were just talking with an incarnation of Devinn.

The Prime reality of absolute unity and the Primordial space prime reality were now residing inside Devinn’s crystal that was inside his chest.

Devinn had long wished for his crystal to be able to also store prime realities. As he wished it, it happened without the slightest ripple. Only himself knew that he was in possession of the realities.

Devinn’s true body was now facing the horde of Celestial emperors with their armies. There were more than three thousands Celestial emperors, millions of elemental kings and billions of elemental lords.

The Celestial emperors were mad with greed as they hoped they could get even a minute inside the Absolute unity prime reality, hoping to reach the quintessential god level.

“Where is the Absolute Unity prime reality that is supposed to be here.” An imposing voice was heard.

A man wearing a fiery armor approached. His imposing aura forced the other Celestial emperors to retreat.

“I took it. You should just leave and never speak of what happened here to anyone.” Devinn said but he knew that he had to kill them all to keep the secret of the prime reality. Tying up loose ends was the sole reason he had remained behind instead of journeying to the two ancient prime realities.

“You think that I am going to let my chance at becoming a Quintessential god escape me?” The man said as he waved his hand and a sea of fire came flying towards Devinn.

Devinn just let the sea of fire wash over him.

Nothing, not even his clothes were damaged.

“Are you done?” Devinn asked.

The man had his mouth agape as he was facing an inner conflict. He didn't”t know whether he’d be able to run far enough to save himself.

The man bowed and said: “Apologies, Sir. I did not know who you were.” The man knew that only gods could overlook the dangerous nature of his fire.

“Now that you understand who I am, you also know what needs to be done.” Devinn coldly said.

They all understood that they were about to die and that there was nothing that could save them.

They had come running towards their deaths.

“But, I can leave you away out. If you swear allegiance to me you may live and if you are capable and useful, I will let you use the Law of Absolute unity.” Devinn said.

All of them dropped to their knees without hesitation and swore an oath before Devinn.

“Good.” Said Devinn.

He had just gained an army for himself.

He wished for a prime reality to appear in his crystal and he teleported the army inside.

The new prime reality had multiple laws governing it and those laws were centralized on the elements. Every element possible except for arcane energy.

In the Multi elements prime reality, there was a teleportation portal that was monitored by Devinn’s incarnation. It led to the Absolute Unity prime reality.

Devinn had stealthily taken and sealed many parts of the Absolute unity prime reality. Those sealed parts would soon be the lands in which his army was to cultivate. He hoped for many to reach the god level and also hoped to eliminate the elemental lord and elemental King levels. As for how many of them would succeed in an environment that did not allow failure, he left it to fate, his strict management and his tutoring.

Absolute Unity prime reality

An incarnation of Devinn was supervising the creation of arcane puppets.

“Seven thousand Celestial emperor puppets...the numbers keep going up…When I know more about gods, I can begin fusing these puppets together to create Quintessential gods puppets...My visions of the future are limited to my strength and knowledge and now I cannot see any problems with creating these God level puppets...I feel that the god level is even more unfathomable...the puppets may develop their own free will...they already have a sliver of it that I can control with the third eye...I need to become even stronger to be capable of controlling them.” The incarnation said.

Inside the sealed cultivation lands of the Absolute unity prime reality.

“One has succeeded in becoming a Quintessential God...This speed... I should keep him away from these lands before he becomes stronger than me...His name is Bart and cultivates the wood element…Quite useless...but it might be useful in the future...” An incarnation of Devinn who supervised the cultivation lands.

Ancient Prime realities.

Devinn arrived outside of the first and closest of the two Ancient Prime reality.

Seven Gods came to meet him. They were wearing the same kind of armor with the same blue insignia of a flying bird.

The leader said: “You should leave while you still can. This place is not for you. You are too weak.”

“That is my problem, isn’t it.” Devinn frowned, he could tell that the God was sincere and was really hoping that he could flee as fast as possible.

Another Quintessential god came forward and said: “What my chief is trying to tell you is that weak gods without affiliation like you are hunted down and sold as slaves to the rich families. If your background is not powerful enough, you are doomed. Even then, no one knows what can happen when no one is looking.”

“To me, you are the weak ones. Why are you allowed to wander around when this world is as dangerous as you say it is.” Devinn mocked.

“We are on guard duty and we belong to the Bluebird family that is tasked with security all over the Omega prime reality. Anyone will think twice before touching us.” Another guard said with a hint of anger.

“You think you are stronger than us but the slave traders are multiple levels stronger than you. If you want to survive, just join a powerful faction as soon as possible.” The leader said as he led his men to resume their patrol.

“What if I want to join the Bluebird family?” Devinn tentatively asked.

“Follow us.” The leader said without turning his head around.

Devinn then followed them.

He needed to know more about this Omega prime reality.

Several days later, they came across a fight between a one eyed humanoid and a human.

The leader of the squad then said: “This is Rolfe Frost. The squad leader of the 12879th squad of the Bluebird Family. I ask that you stop fighting and disperse.”

The two fighting silhouettes turned around and looked at the squad.

Devinn was behind really wondering what kind of deterrence the Bluebird family possessed. He could feel that the two fighting humanoid were stronger than him.

As the One eyed humanoid seemed to stop, the human said : “I come from the Alpha prime reality. I do not have to listen to you.”

They resumed their fight without caring for the leader’s words.

Devinn had learned from the guards that there were two other realms above the Quintessential god realm. The Alpha God realm and the Omega God realm. Each realm of the God realm was divided into eleven minor realms.

For example, Devinn was at the 1st level of the Quintessential god realm.

Devinn asked the leader: “How strong are they?”

Rolfe said: “Both at the 5th level of the Quintessential god realm.”

“Why do you not call for reinforcements instead?” Devinn asked.

“We cannot be everywhere to resolve all conflicts unless they endanger weaker bystanders. In this case, we use our Bluebird family name as deterrence.” Rolfe answered.

“Well since they are taking our time, I will stop them myself.” Devinn said as he teleported in the middle of the fight.

Rolfe could not be bothered to warn a suicidal youth a second time. The two fighters were four levels above Devinn’ s level.
