《Netherwyrm god》42--Forging Arcane pupets

As everybody was happy while leveling up without doing anything, Devinn was experiencing some difficulties.
He had reached a bottleneck. His arcane energy and arcane bloodline had reached the purest state possible. They had stopped to increase in strength on their own.
In terms of pure physical strength, he was unparalleled. He considered himself at the same level as Markus.
In terms of magic, he could do anything he wished for. From bending elements to his will to creating and doing whatever he wanted.
Markus called him a cheater and refused to spar with him.
Even though he had reached a bottleneck, the Absolute unity Law could not slack off. The law kept attempting fusions that Devinn was incapable of containing. He directed the surplus of energy into the pearls. Even the surplus arcane bloodline was infused into the twelve arcane pearls.
The addition of the arcane bloodline into the twelve pearls made them level up as well.
They became sentient and took human form.
Twelve new humanoids appeared around Devinn saying: “Master.”
Devinn saw an opportunity. He had the twelve humanoids fuse.
A being stronger than him appeared.
The appearance of such a being made the prime reality shudder as it too could not accept the Law of the prime reality like Devinn. It also created twelve pearls in which Devinn and it could send their surplus energy generated by the Absolute unity law.
“If this keeps happening, It will never end. The next being that will be created will be even stronger.”Devinn thought.
As he was lost in his thinking, Markus soundlessly appeared next to him.
“You’re crazy. You’ve created an Elemental lord puppet. Can you control it?” Said Markus as he looked at the humanoid that stood in front of him. It looked just like Devinn but with the same gray color the pearls had.

“Elemental Lord?” Devinn ignored his question and asked.
“Yes. Above the sovereign level, there are Law breakers like me. Above the law breakers are the elemental lords then elemental kings and finally Celestial emperors. ” Markus said.
“Why so many levels?” Asked Devinn.
“Since we break through the laws that govern us, we need to create a variant element that is only suitable for us. Some elementals and other special beings are born with variant elements like Aragil. Their path is even easier to thread than others. Each level represents the degree our variant element has reached. The last level is to produce an element on par with the other elements that we were forced to break through. An element that is ours and at the same time, an element that can be taught to others.” Markus said.
“Is that what being a Celestial Emperor means?” asked Devinn.
“No. It’s the level after that. No one has ever reached it. At least no one that I know of. Those that might have reached it in the past are no longer here for some reason. The elements that we cultivate might have come from them...The Quintessential gods.” Markus said before he asked: “How did you create this puppet?”
“It created itself...My power has reached its purest state that my body can contain...that humanoid was created by using the outside source of my power that I always keep around in the form of twelve pearls.” Devinn explained.
“You’re telling me that you can create as many as you’d like and some even stronger?” A shocked Markus asked.
“Yes...that is what we are doing right now. Look...our surplus energy is being supplied into those twelve new pearls...soon another elemental Lord puppet will appear.” Devinn said.

“Interesting experiment.” Said Markus as he sat cross-legged in the air as he watched the process with curiosity.
It did not take long for another set of twelve humanoids to appear and then fused together to create another elemental lord level arcane puppet.
“Interesting...interesting...”Markus kept muttering .
Soon there were twelve elemental lord puppets.
“This new set of pearls are going to take even less time to create another puppet.” Markus observed.
“What are you waiting for? Fuse the twelve puppets together.” Markus rebuked Devinn.
Devinn just rolled his eyes thinking: “We have all the time in the world...Why is he in such a hurry?”
Devinn then ordered the puppets to fuse together.
Twelve elemental lord level puppets then created another puppet that released undulations that were even more dreadful than the last puppet.
“I can’t believe it...A king level puppet...Now I am sure that we can win the war without having to hide elsewhere if we create dozens of celestial emperor puppets...This is good...they will be courting their own deaths.” Markus thought.
The creation of new puppets was even faster than before.
Soon there were twelves Elemental King level puppets that Devinn then fused together before Markus urged him to do so.
What happened next was out of their expectations.
The twelve king level puppets turned into a fist sized gray pearl that shot for Devinn’s chest. It embedded half of itself inside his chest while the other half remained visible on the outside.
Veins bulged everywhere on Devinn’s body as he screamed.
Markus just expressionlessly looked from the side. It seemed that even if he knew how to help he wouldn’t do it.
Alwyn was the first to arrive followed by Kane, sword in hand, ready to strike.
They were the closest and had been monitoring the strange undulations that were released by Devinn as he made the puppet fuse.
“Markus. What happened?” Alwyn asked.
“Just an experiment that is about to bear fruit. Just wait, you’ll see for yourself.” Markus said.
“A core containing Emperor class power...He is leveling up to the Celestial emperor level with this weird power source of his. That apprentice of his, Erling, will soon become like him. Two celestial emperors will a host of celestial emperors puppets that they will have no choice but to continue forging because of the Absolute Unity law.” Markus thought.
Just like Markus was thinking, Devinn was indeed skipping levels to find himself at the Celestial emperor level.
Minutes of excruciating pain later, Devinn awoke from his nightmare.
He looked at the crystal embedded in his chest and sighed.
Like before, the absolute unity law was forcing him to discard the surplus energy to another set of pearls.
More puppets were created until he finally created a genuine Celestial emperor puppet comparable to himself.
Soon more emperor level puppets appeared…
“What will I become if I force these Emperor level puppets to fuse together?...a god?” Devinn thought.
“What if Erling continues and surpasses me?...What then?...” He closed his eyes and looked at the future.
As he opened his eyes, the puppets were already fusing together.
