《Netherwyrm god》36--- A man and a sword

In the pocket dimension
The Netherwyrm Alwyn was completely transformed into its thirteen million kilometers long dragon form.
The human Alwyn said: ” Now that you have a stronger soul, you can completely fuse with the energy sword and mold yourself into a suitable form. A sword for example. We need to keep you hidden from the hunters. The smaller you become the better.”
The netherwyrm ate the sword.
The soul of the energy sword ate the soul of the Netherwyrm.
They were one and the same and could interact with each other. The human Alwyn chose to exploit that loophole to eat the soul of the dragon body.
The space-time rending energy then became the only thing with a soul leaving the flesh of the Netherwyrm an empty husk that could take any form.
“Only two souls left. Me and the soul of the energy sword... I just killed my dragon self. I will turn this gigantic corpse into an inconspicuous sword.”
The dragon exploded in gore and the soul inside the energy sword hijacked the healing process to mold the new body into a giant sword similar to itself.
The hilt of the sword, especially the grip, was made of gray scaly skin.
The pommel was in the form of a dragon’s head.
The cross guard was made of the netherwyrm’s wings.
The body of the sword was made of the dragon’s bones molded into a perfect blade.
“Retract.” Both the human Alwyn and the soul inside the energy sword thought at the same time.
The sword retracted trying to gain a meter and a half height. It had to match the current height of the energy sword.
During the transformation, the same white energy appeared and was then directed to the energy sword.
“This space-time white element is being created even though the body lost its soul...this means that once the energy sword of the same element fuses with the new actual sword, the energy can still be accumulated over time... Will it change its property if there is too much of it? Or will it just allow me to see more of space and time?” The human Alwyn thought.
Just like the dragon body, the sword had become even more indestructible.
The soul inside the energy sword initiated the fusion with its new body when the sword had reached a satisfactory height.
“Good. Now that I am an origin god and have an origin body thanks to Udumu, I can create a proper treasure spirit out of this sword.”
“The sword will be the treasure.”
“The soul will be the treasure spirit.”
“The space-time rending white energy will be the element the spirit of the sword has to comprehend in my stead.”

He directed all the origin energy he could see around him into the sword. It seemed that Udumu had guessed his intention and was once again offering his assistance giving him more origin energy to use.
“I will try to comprehend all the other elements and reach the origin elemental realm properly. I am now considered to be in the origin soul realm when it comes to my insights. Space and time will be comprehended by the soul in the sword and since we are connected, we will both grow stronger at the same time.” Thought Alwyn.
The sword went from the origin trial realm to the treasure spirit realm in a few minutes.
There were no limits when it came to creating treasure spirits. All that was needed was enough origin energy. The problem was the soul that would have to be strong enough to use such power or move the powerful body it was a part of.
“For the time being, I will have to carry it until the soul can move the blade on its own.”
The soul was incapable of using the sword for now but could keep strengthening itself by comprehending and using the space-time element.
Alwyn then came out of the pocket dimension.
Udumu and his generals were still inside the throne room.
“I assume that the forging went quite well...hum?...” said Udumu before a surprised look flashed on his face. He continued: “You have gained twin treasure spirits. Bringing the sword to the treasure spirit level created another spirit from the sword itself. It is still slightly weaker than your own soul clone in there. My advice is to kill it before it becomes another problem.”
Alwyn was startled. Even the soul inside the sword was surprised to learn such a thing.
The sword had created its own treasure spirit.
Alwyn decided to look into it.
It was unexpectedly a dragon shaped soul.
“I will never get rid of this bloodline...” Alwyn inwardly sighed.
The soul inside the sword decided to eat the dragon rather than fuse with it.
It made Alwyn’s soul clone even stronger.
The sword then gained the ability to project the dragon’s soul to unleash physical attacks.
“I need to know more about the war against the elementals and the hunters.” Alwyn then asked.
“You still are not strong enough. Nothing good will come out of it if you wage war against them now.” Udumu said. He added: “You are still at the origin soul realm when it comes to your understanding of the elements. They have surpassed you in ways you cannot even imagine. Reaching the next level of the origin elemental in your comprehension is not so easily accomplished. The realms beyond that even more.”

“Then I will keep strengthening my soul and body forever.” Alwyn said.
“Foolish. It’s disheartening to hear an elemental say that. There is no clear limit to the comprehension of elements. You elementals are born favored by them and never stop to think about comprehending them.” Udumu said.
“Come. Let me show you the difference between me, someone who comprehended the space element on his own and you, the one who was born with it. But first, I want you to show me my other selves through your power.” Udumu asked.
Alwyn did not stop to ponder how Udumu knew about the other realities. He concentrated and his new sword bathed in a white light.
He then stabbed Udumu in the chest.
In Udumu’s mind, visions appeared. They were as clear as they could be.
As Udumu possessed a powerful soul, nothing was hidden from him. He could see his other selves. Comprehend them. From the distant past to the present.
Tens of thousands of lives.
“Sigh...What a wonderful power...with this I might reach the true origin even faster.” He said as the space around him rippled. He was gaining new insights from the different paths his other selves had acquired.
For Udumu, reaching the true origin was his lifelong dream. He had been at the origin elemental for as long as he could remember.
Alwyn was constantly seeing breaches fusing with his cloak. He did not know the use of the cloak other than the invisibility it granted but planned on trying to find out its true use. He could now see another set of realities and they were great in number because of Udumu’s long life and number of insights he was stealing from his other selves.
“Can I see more?” Udumu asked.
Everyone, even Alwyn, was surprised to see Udumu remain clear headed in spite of what he was seeing.
“Of course. I will undo the limiter and you will be able to see everything. It will be a gradual increase.” Said Alwyn as he let Udumu train the same way he did.
The number of realities increased gradually. Udumu’s connection to his other selves deepened.
As he had lived a long life, he had access to more information about himself than anybody else.
“The true origin...If I can fill in the blanks in my comprehension of space with this power, I can reach it. I must not waste this opportunity.” Udumu thought.
Soon, his mind started showing signs of collapse. He was seeing and comprehending from hundreds of thousands of lives.
Finally he fell on the floor screaming and fainted.
A new change was happening to his body while he slept.
He was leveling up to the true origin.
His body that looked like a starry sky changed. The little spots of lights congregated on his chest and eyes to form a white whirlpool leaving the rest of his body black.
Two white lines then descended from his eyes to connect to the whirlpool.
The black lance next to the throne did not show any changes at all.
Udumu woke up as he laughed uproariously.
He calmed himself, closed his eyes and let his soul sense and space domain expand.
“With this, I am truly my own master. No one, even those hunters, will dare order me around.” Udumu said with a smile.
He removed the sword from his chest and teleported it in front of Alwyn who caught it.
“Now we are even. But I still want to show teach you a bit about the elements even if it will be an uneven fight.” Udumu said.
“I pass.” Alwyn shook his head. He was not particularly itching for a beating. He continued: “Now that you became strong and all, can you not shield me from those hunters and tell me exactly why they are after time travelers?”
“Because they keep tampering with time and create time anomalies like realities which can be considered as alternate timelines, breaches to futures, pasts or other timelines. Leaving the main reality in shambles. Sometimes, the damage caused by time travelers cannot be repaired. They never think of the rest of the world when they jump.” Udumu said.
“You said that sometimes, it cannot be repaired, which means that sometimes it can. How do they do it?” Alwyn asked.
“The leader of the time hunters is a fellow who claims that he can erase any reality ever made by a time traveler. Somehow, many believe him. He is at the true origin realm just like his hunters and me.” Udumu.
“Is that fellow called Aragil?” Alwyn asked. He did not want to be right.
“How can you possibly know his name?” Udumu was shocked.
“Thank you for everything. I have to leave.” Said Alwyn as he opened a rift. On the other side, you could see a three eyed Devinn patiently waiting.
“Wait...take this.” said Udumu as a ring with black and white lines appeared in front of Alwyn. He took it and gave back the old one.
Alwyn disappeared on the other side of the rift.
“Is he gone for good?” Alistair asked.
“No. He just went in the past. I can feel the ring in this present.” Said Udumu.
“What is his relationship with the reality eraser, Aragil? I must know more. I will go and pay Alwyn a visit.” Thought Udumu before he teleported away.

8 74I, Mor-eldal: The Necromancer Thief
As a budding little necromancer, I soon discovered that the world of city people is complicated. When my master kicked me out of the cave, he warned me not to talk about my “dark” magic, because people here don't like the undead. I am not really an undead, I just have a skeleton hand, but it is better to be careful. Anyway, that's not my biggest worry. In the Black Dagger brotherhood, I learn a lot of things, such as illusionist magic, which turns out to be quite handy to survive in this maze of streets: in the Cat Quarter, we have thugs of all kinds that are best avoided. But we also have good people, goodhearted “gwaks”, as we say around here. Little did I know that I would soon be caught up in an infamous traffic that would entangle my life even more. With a mix of lighthearted adventure and picaresque, this story narrates the hectic life of a good-spirited street child and his companions in a medieval urban fantasy setting with some nineteenth-century influences. Updates Mondays and Fridays. This is a Creative Commons By work. It is a translation of a trilogy I wrote in Spanish between 2017 and 2018.
