Human Everworld
The Underworld
An endless number of souls were being refined in a huge cauldron.
An endless number of souls were being refined in a huge cauldron.
Darvan was trying to create spectres.
He had lost all his spectres, in his fight against the intruders Alwyn and Devinn.
His countenance was unsightly. He had been pitied on and left alive by two traitors.
In his Everworld, there were an endless number of mortals and even universes completely inhabited by mortals.
It was the best location for him to practice his magic, |¤The demon spectre Art¤|.
He used his position of emperor to amass souls of evildoers that had demonized overtime and fused them together.
Darvan himself was one such spectre. He was born a human with a strong soul and later embarked on the path of necromancy.
He had started by the rudimentary control of corpses until he became proficient enough to control souls.
He fused with souls to increase the power of his own soul until his human body could no longer contain him.
Fusing with other souls was a dangerous process, to say the least.
If you planned on keeping your sanity during the fusion and after, it was like wishing for a meteor to smash your head on a good day.
Memories of the souls you fused with could not be erased unless you were strong enough to ignore them or erase them at your leisure.
The stronger the soul you fused with, the more it fought hard to win the fight and become the prime soul.
Darvan’s soul had become too strong that he could not find a soul strong enough to help him level up.
If he was an elemental that had fused with mana, he fire power would have been unmatched.
He possessed a powerful soul that could do nothing in terms of practical combat.
Devinn had seen how strong his soul was, but also saw that Darvan could no nothing but control spectres from a distance. He was nothing but a useless powerful soul if you took his spectres away, which Devinn obviously did.
Darvan’s |¤Demon spectre Art¤| was a magic he came up with as he tried to find ways to be useful in a fight. It turned out to be a good idea. It made him the Human emperor that even the True dragons dreaded.
As long as there were enough souls, he could create spectres that could be controlled by him.
The demonized souls’ memories that he acquired were immediately erased. He then threw them in a cauldron that was only useful in confining the souls inside.
He would then split a little portion of his soul and throw it in the mix.
The resulting spectre was as strong as the number of souls that were used to create it.
This time he was emptying all his reserves of demonized souls to create an entity that even he was not sure he could control. A prime spectre with the emperor's own memories.
The difference between him and spectres was their ability to summon the darkness element ignoring the usual consumption of mana.
He had discovered that ability as he created powerful spectres. After a specific amount of demonized souls was used, a spectre with the ability to summon the darkness element would appear.
There was no price to pay for such a summon as all the other various magics did. The spectres could just summon an endless quantity of the darkness element just like a Cosmic god using the darkness element could but with mana as the fuel.
It was that ability that annoyed even True dragons on the battlefield that he became the Human Emperor.

He was not sure that he could control this prime spectre. Since his coronation, he had never used such an alarming number of Demonized souls to create a spectre.
He was driven into a corner. In his mind, he might as well try and see what would happen before the intruders decided that he was useless and take away his Everworld that he had painstakingly looked after forever.
Since he was giving this new spectre his own memories for fear that it escaped his control, he was prepared to even sacrifice his soul and fuse with it.
It was an experiment that he’d been preparing himself to undergo but he needed more time to be sure that everything would be perfect. Or else, there was a possibility that his creation would unleash mayhem upon his Everworld even with his memories.
The Elemental church mini-Everworld.
Alwyn’s palace.
Alwyn was relaxing when a ripple appeared not far from him.
Two human cosmic gods were seen close to an undulating colorful elemental.
“What brings you here, kron, Lightless, Celeste?” Alwyn greeted them.
Kron, like many Cosmic gods, had undergone Devinn’s experiment of fusing multiple elements in one body. He wasn’t invisible anymore.
Lightless was a light elemental with the darkness element as the polar element that still plagued him.
Celeste was a darkness elemental.
They were all powerful cosmic gods.
“Only you can relax after arriving in an unknown territory just after you beat its owner.” Kron teased.
“There is nothing to worry about.” Alwyn said. he continued: “From Devinn’s investigation, the human emperor is nothing without his spectres. Even with an army of them, he is still too weak.”
“I would not be so sure about that.” Lightless said.
“We came here to warn you.” Celeste added.
Alwyn asked: “What could be so alarming that the three of you had to come to me personally?” He was showing a serious face.
“You also have the darkness element in you now. Can you feel a strange pressure weighing down on you?” Kron asked.
Alwyn closed his eyes and then said after a moment : “The darkness element had been restless for a while now. I just took it for a side effect of the forceful implant. Why? Is there something else I missed?”
Kron hands pointed to the two beside him and said: “These two have more experience with the darkness element and they’ve been feeling something akin to a new existence being born in this human Everworld. That existence keeps getting stronger every day and these two feel the pressure increasing as we speak.”
Alwyn then called Devinn.
Devinn appeared in the palace right next to them saying: “What is so urgent to keep me from meeting my new grandchild?”
Kron explained again.
“it might be that human emperor concocting something after he miserably lost against us last time.” Devinn said. He added: “Still. Something that forces an element to feel pressure is worthy of our attention. Let’s go and see what that puny emperor is planning.”
Devinn teleported them all in the Human emperor’s universe.
“I just scanned the whole universe. He is not here.” Alwyn said.
“Can you lead us to where that new existence is being made?” Devinn asked Lightless and Celeste.
“We can feel it but cannot know exactly where it is. For example, the pressure we felt in previously is still the same here.” Celeste shared.
“The underworld then. That is where the souls of the dead are called to. Without the world’s owner permission, there is no way we can enter.” Kron said.

“I will find the entrance.” Said Devinn as he closed his two horizontal eyes as his sole vertical eye shone with a blinding light.
“I found it. We can directly teleport there. I also found the human emperor. He looks exhausted in front of a cauldron. He keeps feeding the cauldron so many souls...” Devinn said as he shared the third eye’s vision with the others.
“Maybe he is trying to create more spectres.” Alwyn said.
“Probably. Let’s wait here until he finishes. I am interested in seeing what this little experience of his will turn out to be.” Devinn said.
Darvan had been feeding the cauldrons so many demonized souls that he was scared for himself.
The quantity of souls would never have been enough to help him level up even once, but for creating a suitable prime spectre, it was more than enough.
More days passed.
“Finally done. Time to implant the memories before it wakes up.” Darvan said as a strand of his soul containing all of his memories disappeared in the cauldron.
He then stood up and started losing the shape of a human body.
The result was a translucent soul.
He crossed his hands over his chest and waited for his creation to wake up.
After a while, the cauldron exploded in a puff of black smoke that spanned millions of kilometres.
Slowly the smoke dissipated as a hideous spectre appeared where the cauldron was supposed to be.
It had a human body. A body that tended to look like a skeleton. It as if the skin had been glued on the skeleton.
The eye sockets were empty, revealing the endless darkness within.
It moved one of its bony arms and a cloak of darkness enshrouded it. It said with a hoarse voice: “Now. What am I to do with a useless soul like you?” It was looking at the human emperor.
The human emperor had long been prepared. He said: “I need your word. You are to never harm the humans of this Everworld. You must protect it.”
The spectre seemed to be thinking about something and said : “Yes. Of course...”
The spectre just appeared next to the human emperor. Its hand was already holding Darvan’s neck as all the soul was slowly eaten away by a dark energy.
The human emperor vanished in an instant.
“What a great tonic. I need more like this.” The spectre said. Elated.
It then turned its head around and its powerful soul clashed with an invisible ripple. The spectre said as it looked at the ripple : “ Oh…you just helped me save some time. I was about to go look for you.” It disappeared and then appeared before the group, outside of the undeworld.
Devinn’s third eye had been seen through.
The first thing Alwyn did was to send Kron and the other two back home. He teleported them just as the spectre appeared.
The spectre seeing the frantic faces of the duo said: “You can both relax, I just came here for a spar. I am not as annoying as that moron that created me.”
“I saw him give you his memories and you even absorbed him. You should be the human emperor.” Devinn calmly said.
“Nope. That guy has nothing to do with me. I only used his memory to learn about the world I was born into. As for his soul, I used it as an offering since he wanted it that way, but to tell you the truth, I was only testing my powers on him.” The spectre said.
“Why come to us for just a spar?” Alwyn asked.
“From this guy’s memories, you beat him with single wave of your hand. I am just curious to see how strong I am for the upcoming war against the true Dragons and the true Demons.” The spectre said.
The spectre was interested in seeing its limit. It needed something to measure it and the twins were his first and only target.
It knew it had gained a conscious soul after all the fusions which was out the human emperor’s expectations. Darvan only wanted an empty husk for his new clone to use with his memories. In a way, it would’ve been him.
It was born in a world that was too scary for the weak. After it had inherited the memories from the human emperor, it had learned a great deal from them and wanted to be at its best to be of help as it protected the human Everworld. It was the least it could do for its creator. Besides, it had no room for retreat as well. The upcoming war with the True Demons targeted all lifeforms that did not ally themselves with the true Demons.
Alwyn said : “ I will go first. If I win tell us more about those wars of yours.”
“And if I win?” The spectre asked.
“Save it for after you win.” Alwyn said as he received a mental message from Devinn: “Do not let that darkness element of his touch your body.”
Alwyn commanded all the elements inside of him at once and attacked.
He had used all the elements he commended to create an indestructible body for himself.
He had turned his entire body into the body of a true elemental and looked like a multicolored sun.
He teleported in front of the spectre and savagely punched with all his strength.
The boost of being a multi-elemental cosmic god and an evolved bloodline was seen immediately.
The space around them was shredded. Millions of kilometres around them were rendered chaotic with just a punch.
The spectre was trying hard to wake up from its nightmare as it was distorted inside the space storm that destroyed space itself.
Even Alwyn was caught in his own attack but knew to teleport himself away just as he had released his punch.
The spectre was thinking: “Why did I have to ask for a spar? I might die if I am not careful. This one fights with his body. The other used a weird magic in the fight against the human emperor.”
“Might as well go all out. I want to see my own limits after all. I have no body capable of matching this freak but I can smell that he uses the elements to fight. Is it even possible for a soul to contain so many elements? The other demon twin must be using the same elements as well.” It thought before a torrential darkness embraced the chaotic space.
Devinn who was spectating and sharing his mind with Alwyn said: “He is trying to carve a way out of that space storm. He will be out soon.”
“Did you find out anything about the element of darkness he is using. It feels weird.” Alwyn said.
“Yes, it is. I just found out that he doesn’t even need mana to conjure it. It’s like darkness is at his complete beck and call.” A fascinated Devinn said.
“Is he a real elemental then?” Alwyn asked as he prepared himself to face the darkness. He burned even brighter as he emitted all kinds of fires and lights in an area of thousands of kilometres. He was the core of a sun.
“I am thinking that the firsts real elementals must have been beings like him and our ancestors only tried to mimic them with the use of mana.” Devinn said with a pensive look. He added : “What you are doing will never work, just pray that you do not touch his element. Do not think that you can burn it away so easily. ”
Just as Devinn’ words were heard by Alwyn, the latter saw his sun being eaten away at a breakneck speed. Before he was engulfed by the darkness, he teleported away as cold sweat poured out of him.
For the moment, no one looked to be at a disadvantage.
Devinn thought : “When I suffered the darkness polarity after implanting the light element, it smelled just like this but not to this degree. Which means that this element is the true darkness element. But how can one become a master of an element completely without the use of mana? Even the uncontrollable element of time needs mana. I need the technique that the human emperor used and study it.” He then said to Alwyn: “Let me beat him up for a while. Your direct way will never work.”
Alwyn said: “You plan on using that |¤Self Sacrificial Art¤| you created?”
“He wants to test his powers on us. I intend to do the same. Besides I created this art to deal with unbeatable guys like him.” Devinn said.
Alwyn looked at the specter and said: “I am afraid that we will not find a winner like this.”
“I understand. Chasing each other for an eternity would be very boring.” The spectre said.
Devinn advanced and said: “It’s my turn. If I win, I want the technique that was used to create you as well as all the information about the human emperor’s enemies.”
“Sure, but I think it will end up the same way.” The specter said.
“If you are not careful, you might die sooner than you think.” Devinn advised.
