《Netherwyrm god》12 - Netherwyrm God (part 2)

In a brightly lit place, inside of which a green eternal fire was the only light that kept the darkness away, a small green dragon was bowing in front of another gigantic green dragon.
The domain of green fire spanned for an entire galaxy. The two dragons were conversing inside a humongous palace that also burned with green fire.
The small green dragon’s height spanned for an entire mile from the head to the end of its tail.
The gigantic green dragon that was sleeping on a bed of green fire was ten times bigger than the small dragon.
“Father…” The green little dragon had been crying out of its lungs for a while but there was no reaction from the gigantic dragon.
“Father, something unprecedented happened.” The little dragon knew it could be heard but was just ignored.
The gigantic dragon slowly opened its eyes to reveal pupils that reflected an eternal green fire.
The little green dragon shivered before it said with a trembling voice: ” Uncle’s bloodline has finally ignited and acquired the true Netherwyrm white flame but there was a problem with Uncle’s will. It chose to disappear and we do not know why he chose such a thing. Now a discarnate human soul is in control of every information the will contained as well as having the same power of power bestowal the Alucard clan has. I fit it is not taken care of soon, with the human’s rate of reproduction we will soon be overrun and be forced to retreat to the ancestral home. All the preparations we made for the coming war would have been for naught. What is it that we should do?”
“Call the seer over here.” The lazy thundering voice of the gigantic dragon made the entire world of green flame shudder.
“Yes. Father.” The little dragon said before its emerald collar shinned and the little dragon’s body disappeared. It had teleported away.
“Brother. What have you done again? Even in death you still try to protect those useless humans…. sigh… The king sent orders for this human settlement to disappear along time ago but your new human friend, Markus, got in the way. Now that he is gone you still try to protect them even after you died for trying to protect them. Sigh… Trying to understand you is a headache. This time I cannot protect your bloodline that stayed here no matter what I say to those mad Imperials. The power you gained in death and gifted to humans is foretelling of the wars that will be waged to acquire it. The Imperials already know by now and none of their seers had seen it coming…haha. I wish I was having as much fun as you are having now that your dream has come to fruition. But what has such a little human settlement such as theirs given to you to the point of giving your life for them abandoning your own brothers and family. Your bloodline matches the Imperials and me now that you have gained the same power we have. The ultimate power to annihilate anything even Cosmic gods. But you gave it to the humans instead of your own bloodline that is going to die because you abandoned them. What was in your head back then? What did that Markus tell you that led you to betray your own brother?” The gigantic dragon was finally burning all over and the green flames in its entire territory(galaxy) had woken up and danced according to his rising anger.
The fearful little green dragon finally teleported back with a humanoid creature in tow.

He was an eyeless humanoid with gray scales and protruding spiral black horns on his forehead. He was dressed in a plain white robe and had a height close to a human being. He looked like a grain of dust in front of the little green dragon, to say nothing of the gigantic dragon.
“Greetings Lord Boodbane. It has been an eternity since we drank some wine together.” The seer simply waved his hand in salutation toward the gigantic mountain like dragon in front of him. He used a voice that did not lose out to the two dragons in intensity.
“ Aragil, is there something unpleasant that we should expect from the next war?” Bloodbane went past the formalities and asked his question.
“You will lose again and I will die before the war has even begun.” Aragil smilingly said. His uncaring expression was an insult to the bomb he had just unleashed.
Both dragons stopped breathing at the same time. Aragil’s predictions were always right on. But he had never seen his own death before and even weirder he was laughing in front of his own prediction.
Bloodbane scrutinized the now silent Aragil. He knew that Aragil was never one to joke and in every conversation, he always told the truth about you and even told you when you will die. He could not stop getting visions on anything or anyone he saw. He was the only seer working under Bloodbane that even the other Imperials envied. He saw what no one else could.
This time Bloodbane hoped that it was a joke. Nothing had prepared him for such a thing. They could not afford to let either prediction come to fruition. Aragil was too useful to die and the human settlement had to disappear so they could focus on the rest of the other human settlements who had been holding them back forever.
In the last war, all the Cosmic gods that were sent to eradicate humanity ended up in human hands because of the untimely arrival of a weird space element Cosmic God. He came out of nowhere and ended the war on his own. It was Markus. During his stay, he travelled in the Myriad races Domain(universes) territory unhindered and captured Cosmic gods left and right until the twenty-seven imperials who were forced to come out and deal with him miserably lost to him. The weirdest thing was that he left the Imperials alone and did not capture them. Every one of his captives were Cosmic gods who were considered fiends by their own people but were kept around to boost the Imperials’ military power. That action earned the outsider recognition and admiration from the masses. Something that the defeated Imperials tried to make disappear.
Now that Markus had disappeared, the kid that took his place was not strong enough to stop the eons of preparations that went into ensuring the eradication of the human settlement.
“How are we going to lose this time? And how are you going to die exactly?” Bloodbane asked Aragil.
There was no stopping the war for just a single seer. None of the other twenty-six imperial Cosmic gods will vote to postpone the war for him to save Aragil. They would not care even if the war was to be lost because they were safe from Markus. They could afford for their entire fleet of Cosmic gods to be captured if that would be what it took to gauge the human’s strength. Kron’s strength was looked down on as it could not be compared to Markus. If everything went according to plan, only Kron would survive. The rest would die or be captured, especially Kron’s space Element bloodline. It had to be dealt with before it bore a new Cosmic God.

“There are two discarnate souls that accidentally appeared because of your brother’s process of igniting his bloodline to the strongest possible variant bloodline. The one that just appeared is not the strongest at all even if it is at the cosmic level. The one that will kill me is at the True elemental level for now. He will still be at that level when he kills me. The war will be lost because of that same discarnate soul.” Aragil reported.
“Ok. I am pulling my forces out of the war. Warn the rest of the Imperial gods of the danger. Maybe they will listen to you.” Bloodbane said.
“ I’ve already reported to them and they still decided to go through with the plan anyway. The war cannot be put on hold considering the two new elements. Given more time, the humans will be able to make more Cosmic gods with the help of the two discarnate souls.” Aragil said.
“They were too afraid of Markus, now that he is gone they think that they are invincible. Do they have something to rely on? Any of their seers say something useful?”Bloodbane asked.
“No. all they see is my death as well as the loss of the war. Nothing else.” Aragil reported.
“ They are just going to blindly sacrifice all those Cosmic gods for nothing? I doubt it. How about this? I am making my army retreat and you stay here with me. I am interested in seeing how that fellow will kill you under my nose. Little Zolojin bring us some wine and post our sentries around the palace.” Bloodbane ordered the little dragon.
“Yes, father.” Zolojin said before disappearing.
As Zolojin teleported away, Aragil started sharing another version of a future he saw.

Both Kron and Salazar were surprised to see that their plans of imprisoning a bloodline weapon with a will was impossible to accomplish. Rather, it was a successful evolution that had failed to keep its remnant will. Another fertilizer had eliminated it and took its place. In this case, the man that Alwyn called Jonas had eaten or forcefully fused with the will giving himself a discarnate elemental soul to live in. No one really knew in what circumstances Jonas had accomplished such a feat.
Salazar was watching the scene from a dimensional rift created by Kron not far from the planet. He was ready to attack as soon as the dimension he was in was opened by Kron which would be his signal to move.
When Salazar saw that the remnant will was being taken over by a discarnate soul. He went mad. He did not even want to count his losses as he conquered that universe after paying for it with numerous lives. Most of which were from his own Crystal element bloodline.
As he saw Kron appear inside the dimension and teleport him towards his home where the other five were waiting, his anger had reached a breaking point.
“Kron. What the hell?” The angry Salazar asked.
“Let it go. I am sure we saw the same thing.” kron said.
“How can you be so sure that that thing is safe to keep around?” Salazar did not want to believe that the remnant will of the netherwyrm god would be so easily destroyed.
“Give them a chance for now. We will see what they become in the future. Besides they could prove to be useful. The foreign Alucard clan uses discarnate elemental souls to basically manufacture Cosmic gods. That Jonas kid is the most useful for that task if you compare him to Devinn who gained the power to eat anything. Jonas strong soul is even stronger than the patriarch of the Alucard clan. As for the one called Lucius, that you seem to have forgotten for some reason, inherited the same kind of power as the Imperials. I am sure you know what that means to you six. It is suicide to fight with him if you cannot run away. In fact, even I can only run away in front of an imperial.”Kron said.
“We just gained an imperial and a discarnate elemental soul. This is the best good news we’ve had since we lost Markus.” Eliza said.
“How do you plan on keeping them in check? That Lucius guy is even more dangerous than the seven of us combined.” Lightless the light elemental said.
“You are the one who is worried right now? Lightless, your polarity puts you at the same level as the Imperials but you are too afraid of using it unless you are backed into a corner. It is a good thing that your cowardice does not run into your bloodline.” Silas’s blue fire threatened to burn the area. He could not stand Lightless’s cowardice.
“That dumb descendant of mine used to have them as underlings. Just let him handle it himself. He hates me, but when he realizes that even I have nowhere to run, he will start a war with the Myriad races on his own out of anger. He has nowhere to run himself. We are both confined inside these pitiful two hundred and seventeen universes that we seven look after.” Kron said.
“How do you expect him to do that exactly? He is but a True elemental that can die.” Celeste of the darkness element said.
“He has an underling that can kill cosmic gods. His Twin element, Devinn is also not stupid. They will be fine. If you are still worried, how about you all stay in my palace? We will use my space element to spy on them and we will help when it is time to do so.” Immediately after Kron finished talking, seven comfortable chairs appeared in the room. The chairs were levitating in the air. The entire room turned into a starry sky in which Alwyn and Devinn were the main attraction. The seven gods took their seats and calmly watched.
The magma elemental, Wade broke the silence and said: “Ahem…Kron, I am sure you have some good wine somewhere.”
A chuckle was heard from the invisible man before bottles appeared before each of them.
“ Ahh… the infamous unlimited magic wine. It has been a long time since I had a taste. I wonder. Kron where do you find the time to make such a delicious wine between all this nonstop killing.” Wade asked.
In the mean time, they were watching Alwyn and Devinn slowly approach Lucius and Jonas.
“Ask Lightless for that. I just help with the space he needs or else his home Universe would be full of magic plants.” Kron said.
“I knew it. None of us have time to waste on such things but Lightless does. If he wasn’t so scared of his own power he would be so useful on the battlefield that none of us would have nothing to do. I just hope your kid, Wil, becomes a Cosmic God soon. You pampered your kids too much but they all ended up being more bloodthirsty than you and Wil is far worse than Salazar here.” Silas said
“You have no idea what it means to be a Polar god. Especially I, who is plagued by the darkness element.” Lightless shared.
“Wil seems to be doing a hell of a good job with his polarity.” Salazar said
“That boy was just born crazy. I did not have the strength to end his life before. You should not wish that he becomes a Cosmic god with his polarity so easily.” Lightless reminded.
“Yeah, well another Imperial level human for humanity. No one will complain, I assure you.” Silas confidently said.
“You should stop talking now. The two parties are about to make contact.” Eliza reminded.
They then all glued their eyes towards the spatial projection with the intention of not missing a single thing.
