《The Endless Boundary Between Dimensions》Arc 6 - Ending [Chapter 5: Royal Pains]

“Ahh!” Zare Li Minami jumped out of her seat at the display of public debauchery. “T-t-they kissed!? In public!? How scandalous!”
The young woman was reeling from viewing the three people sitting by a fountain. How could two respectable young women like that coerce a tenager into those kinds of acts? Why, if any self-respecting woman were to find a boy of that age, they’d try to take care of the child, sure, but…
“What’s more, a man with two women was fine, but one of them a wood elf, and the other a noble citizen of- why are the women kissing!?”
The mere sight was too much for the distinguished young woman, and she dispelled her magical construct. Pouting, she stood up from the table where the viewing crystal was, and flopped onto her awaiting bed.
Still wearing her pajamas, she shoved her face into a pillow. “Why do I get punished by the gods for just making sure Rexir is safe and sound on his travels!?”
After a long groan into the plush cushion, she resurfaced for air. “I don’t want him to go and leave me. He promised he’d be here for me, whenever I need it. It was wrong of him to try and break his promise with that harlot. Ugh, what do mom and dad see in her anyway!?”
Zare kicked at the air, and rolled over onto her back. She didn’t understand why her brother, once the most respected man in all of the Golden Continent, had decided to give away a piece of their land for free to a dumb, Azure Princess.
Even worse, their father had praised him for it! He congratulated Rexir in his foresight to begin repairing relations with a country from the war, and even granted him the opportunity to free himself from the family, with his blessing.
Now that he was trying to get out of the royal family, and didn’t even have the decency to tell his family what it was that he was trying to do, Zare took it upon herself to stop his selfishness before it reached its peak.
Zare giggled and hugged the pillow close to her chest. She’d make Rexir see the error of his ways, and then- “My lady, is everything alright?”
The Gold Continent scion jumped at the butler’s interruption, and fell onto the cold, wooden floor. She was still for a moment as she tried to register what had happened, and then stood up.

“Jeeves! You had better have good reason to interrupt my thoughts, or…” Her voice trailed off at the serious look on the aging man’s face.
“I apologize for the interruption, my lady. Truly.” Jeeves bowed, and Zare averted her eyes and began twirling her hair with her finger.
“D-don’t worry about it, Jeeves. I’m sorry as well. I let my emotions get the better of me, and took it out on you.”
The aging man smiled sweetly at the young woman, and gave her a pat on the head. “No need to apologize to an old man like me. It is true that I entered without knocking, so I apologize. Truly.”
Zare nodded, but was still shyly diverting her gaze. “Ok, Jeeves. So, what did you come to my room to tell me? I imagine that if it couldn’t wait till dinner, it must be important.”
The butler nodded, and handed Zare a sheet of paper. The young woman glanced it over once, set it down, and then picked it up to read it once more.
A few minutes of staring at the paper later, she let out a very unladylike groan in front of the butler, whose mouth twitched up into a smile.
---
“What is it, Hann!?” Hann sighed at his sister’s upset tone, and closed the book he was reading to face her.
She was still wearing her Goldenman pajamas, which covered her slender frame and offered a contrast to her black hair. Her red eyes stared him down from her oval face, a sign that their mother’s dragonborne trait, which only manifested in females of the lineage, was activated.
“I see you received my letter then, Zare. May I inquire as to why your mood is so foul at the moment?”
The girl seemed taken aback, and used the mirror in the corner of Hann’s room to examine herself. “Tirania damn me!”
Hann was taken aback by the curse, though he knew his little sister not to be as innocent and childish as she usually acted.
She quickly turned, and followed with a slight bow. “Sorry for cursing. Jeeves interrupted me in the middle of something, and I couldn’t control my temper at first. I’m fine now, but I guess I still need more practice with manual transformations.”

Hann nodded, just glad that Zare’s ire wasn’t directed at him. The young girl’s power harbored great destructive properties. “With Rexir out of the house, I feel like this is the perfect time to talk about our plan.”
Zare nodded, and took a seat on the chair across from him. “You already know that I want to engage him in the one-on-one duel, right?”
Hann stared at her, thinking of the correct thing to respond with. “Yes… I am aware of your odd fascination with Rexir.”
Zare snorted, unladylike, but properly fitting the situation. “Please. We both know you like him just as much as I do, if not more. You just want to prove to him that you’ve grown into a splendid young man.”
Hann frowned, but couldn’t say anything back. She had hit the nail on the head. It was the family’s worst kept secret that both of the younger children absolutely adored their older brother.
“Yes, that’s correct.” Instead of denying it, Hann decided to use it as fuel for his case. “Which is why you should let me challenge him to the one-on-one duel first.”
Zare’s mouth hung agape, before she closed it and sneered, “No! I want to go first! I want to say that I could have won and defeated him at full strength!”
Hann’s expression soured as he replied, “Of course, dummy. That’s why I want to fight him first as well. Although Rexir was always tactically gifted, he’s always needed his harem to cover for his lack of actual usefulness in battle. No offense to Leresa, but she couldn’t dust the dirt off of my boots.”
The two continued to bicker, leaving a sighing Jeeves to wheel in a cart with tea and confectionery on top to try and deescalate the situation.
---
Rexir chuckled a bit upon hearing his siblings fighting. He had planted small portions of void in his sister and brother’s rooms, and was using them to do reconnaissance on them both.
If there was one thing his brother had been right about, it was that he was always going to overwhelm his opponent tactically. A sudden pulling at his wrist drew his attention, and he was met with Leresa’s joyful expression.
“Come on, what’s the worst that could happen?” Rexir was slightly confused since he had missed what she had said previously, but put a large smile on his face as Leresa went into the changing room of The Bouquet, a locally run clothing store in the city.
He felt so relieved to be with his beloved once more, and just have some time to be the two of them. “Anything that you fancy, Lord Rexir?”
Rexir turned to the store clerk, an old family friend, and began to open his mouth. He then promptly closed it when he remembered he couldn’t speak.
I guess I haven’t gotten used to this after all. The former emperor-to-be shook his head, and shooed the woman away. It was only with Leresa that he could truly feel normal.
He sighed silently and took a sip of water from a cup offered to him by the shop owner. His greatest fear since gaining the powers of the void was that if she ever lost the ability to communicate with him, he would truly be all alone.
“So, what do you think?” Rexir spat out his water upon seeing Leresa’s form. She was wearing a corset which hung dangerously low, revealing a generous amount of cleavage as well as her pale neck.
She was also wearing a pair of thongs which dug into her flesh, and accentuated her curves. Rexir panicked and turned, but thankfully the clerk had left. He grabbed Leresa by the hand, and dragged her back into the changing room.
Before he could ask why she would do that in public, and if he needed to have a word with Leo to reign in his wives, she took his lips and stole his breath.
They kissed, twirling tongues, with Leresa seemingly focused on killing him via lack of oxygen. When she finally released him, a long thread of saliva connected them, and fell down onto her breasts.
“That was just the appetizer. Shall we head on to the full course meal next? I know a discreet place nearby that’ll do just the trick.”

The Gore tag is there more as a precaution, rather than a promise to keep producing gory words. Mortal Mewling is a bit of a slow burn in terms of start, scale and capacity of the protagonist.
