《The Endless Boundary Between Dimensions》Arc 5 - The Restoration Period [Chapter 28: Getting Along.]

“Ugh, I’m so sore!” Vanessa rubbed her arms and legs, where bruises were already starting to appear on her otherwise pure skin.
She sunk farther into the bathtub in Kokoro’s house, and sighed contentedly. Despite her asking for it, Leo had really gone all in on the training, and they continued for hours on end despite the screaming of her body to stop.
However, the entire thing was a nostalgic experience. Even though it hurt physically, there was something fulfilling about it spiritually.
“Huh… maybe I really am a masochist…” Vanessa sighed out, closing her eyes as she started to drift to sleep out of pure exhaustion.
“You definitely are. Please don’t sleep there, it’s dangerous.” Vanessa bolted upright as the intruder drew closer to her.
“Oh my god, Hazeel, don’t scare me like that!” The wood elf raised an eyebrow as she started stripping.
“You only worship one god? How strange. I’ll never understand other world religions.” The wood elf removed her undergarments first, and then proceeded to take off her top, letting her large breasts out of their restrictions.
Vanessa held her breath as she was reminded once more of how great of a body Hazeel had. It was almost unfair for Vanessa, as she was usually very confident in her own looks. In fact, she had never once held doubt in her ability to tempt someone.
However, seeing Hazeel put her to shame. Granted, Vanessa knew that it was because the people of this world were naturally taller, and more evenly proportioned than the people on earth, but it was still a pretty hard pill to swallow.
Especially since Leo had been so preoccupied with her on that day, and only paid Vanessa enough attention to-
What was she thinking!? Was… was Vanessa jealous of the relationship that Leo had with Hazeel? That was impossible. In the first place, she had only felt that flash of desire for Leo because of her backlash, and-
“Coming in.” Hazeel announced, and the wood elf slid deftly into the bathtub, on the opposite side of Vanessa.
“What are you doing?” Vanessa asked, clearly annoyed, which only prompted a grin from Hazeel. She then stroked Vanessa’s leg, which sent a shiver up the otherworlder’s spine.
“Spending some quality time with my sister-wife.” Vanessa’s jaw gaped as Hazeel slid further into the tub, the wood elf’s feet touching with Vanessa’s own.
Hazeel smiled at Vanessa, and her white teeth and silver hair stuck out against her dark skin. “What? You still pretend not to know your own feelings? I saw how much you were enjoying yourself last night. You can’t fool me.”
Vanessa blushed, and turned her face away from the wood elf. “God, I don’t even know what we’re doing here in this godforsaken town.”
“We’re waiting for Rexir’s father to grant us permission to enter the capital city. Since he abdicated his position of power to someone who wasn’t even of Gold Continent descent, his father has been upset. Right now, Rexir thinks that his father will call on him soon to explain himself.”

Vanessa sighed, having not expected an actual answer for her rhetorical question. After a few moments, she recollected herself and faced Hazeel once more. “So… you really got those done, huh?” Vanessa’s gaze landed on Hazeel’s breasts, which now sported a pair of nipple rings in them.
The wood elf gazed down at herself, and poked at the pieces of metal. “Yes… although I don’t think I’m still quite used to them. They did make Leo happy, however, so I think that they’re worth the pain and discomfort.”
Vanessa sighed and rested her legs on top of the wood elf’s. “How can you do that? How can you be so… free? Every time I want to try and get closer to Leo, something stops me, and I feel like I can’t be myself.”
Hazeel slid further into the tub, letting out a contented sigh in the process. “Well, as you get older, your fear of being who you are starts to dissipate. You start to care less and less of what other people think. Leo is that way already, being as mature as he is.”
Vanessa smiled. “Yeah, he’s always been that way. There was this one time that he-” The world seemed to freeze as things clicked into place.
Hazeel was staring at Vanessa, and vice-versa. Suddenly, an influx of pain raptured Vanessa’s brain as memories began flooding into them. Her time in the military detail with Leo, all the way up to their getaway in Paris, fighting the Dimension Eaters, and all the good and bad in-between.
Vanessa screamed, and clutched at her head. Soon enough, the pain died down and she slumped back into the water, only to be caught by a pair of hands.
“...alright?” Vanessa’s ears were ringing, so she only barely caught the tail end of a sentence from a worried Hazeel, who was shaking her shoulders.
“Are you alright!?” The wood elf’s voice was loud and clear now, and ringing in her ears.
She felt a burst of photons exploding outward as Leo appeared in the small room. “What happened!?”
His face was full of worry and… sadness? Vanessa smiled at him. “Leo… I remember… most of it.”
He just stared at her, blank faced for a moment, unable to believe what he had just heard. However, it was Vanessa who made the first move, lunging out of the bathtub and flinging herself into her betrothed’s arms.
Leo stumbled backward, and they both fell on the floor together. “Vanessa, I-!” Vanessa cut him off with a passionate kiss, practically shoving her tongue down Leo’s throat. The two lay there for a moment, reveling in their passion.
Finally, Vanessa relented, and hugged Leo’s head to her chest, giving small kisses to his forehead, cheek, ears, and playing with his familiar silver hair.
“Vanessa-”
“Call me like how you used to. Please.” Vanessa whispered in-between heated breaths and gentle kisses.
“Dantae… do you really remember?” Leo asked, and Vanessa squeezed his head harder.
“C-can’t breathe.” Leo said in a muffled tone, tapping out against Vanessa’s shoulder. “Face… buried… in your… chest.”

Vanessa let go, and Leo took a deep breath. “God, I thought you were actually going to suffocate me.”
Vanessa started to cry, and buried her face, and still wet body, into Leo. Leo, for all intents and purposes, looked as though he wanted to cry himself, but he just hugged Vanessa and stroked the back of her head.
“As pleasant as that was, and I’m very happy for the two of you” Hazeel said, leaning towards Leo, “Would you leave us to finish bathing? You two will have plenty of time to catch up afterwards. I promise.”
Vanessa got up off of Leo and back into the tub, a burning blush present on her face. The man beneath her stood up, tried his hardest not to look at Hazeel’s chest, which had been hanging out of the bathtub, and left just as quickly as he had arrived.
“Honestly, you couldn’t have waited a spell? We just had sex last night, you insatiable woman.” Vanessa glared at Hazeel, but couldn’t keep the annoyance in her gaze present at the smile of the wood elf.
Eventually, her face fell into a goofy grin, and Vanessa submerged her body into the bath. She smiled, a dazzling thing that made Hazeel’s own eyes widen. “I’m so happy.”
---
Unfortunately, it would still be a while longer before Vanessa and Leo spoke, as the men entered their respective baths after the women had. On top of that, Vanessa had gotten Leo’s clothes soaking wet, so they had been hung up to dry into the next day.
Hazeel and Vanessa were currently sitting on a couch that had plenty of room for the otherworlder and the elven warrior. Hazeel stretched, drawing Vanessa’s eyes to her body once more.
The wood elf was wearing a very revealing nightgown, with see-through mesh over her breasts and stomach, and a black lace portion which offered little to the imagination.
Vanessa herself was wearing something of similar design, but using materials that made the clothing unable to be seen through, and therefore, more modest.
Vanessa shook her head and leaned against the couch. The two sat in comfortable silence while they waited for Leo. Because of the usage of the ritual, the two had grown closer without having to exchange any words.
They instinctively knew what the other had felt. While Vanessa was annoyed that Leo had found himself attracted to someone in this world, she knew that the only reason Hazeel was accepted was because Leo thought she would be Vanessa’s type… which, in all fairness, she was.
Hazeel understood this as well, and didn’t take Vanessa’s leniency for granted. Vanessa shot a glare at Hazeel, as she had just thought something very rude, but the wood elf simply stuck out her tongue.
“Sorry to interrupt your telepathic conversation, but would you mind if we had a small talk?” Hazeel and Vanessa both turned around to see Leresa, standing behind them in an oversized nightgown.
“No worries at all, Less. Please, sit down.” Hazeel patted the space on the couch in between her and Vanessa, and the Silver Continent princess sat down obediently.
“So, what did you want to talk about?” Vanessa asked, and Leresa started to fidget in place. She settled down, and turned to Hazeel.
“Well… I may or may not need relationship advice.” Hazeel stared blankly at the princess, and pointed directly to Vanessa.
“That’s the one who'll answer your questions the best. Leo has been the first romantic relationship that I’d ever had, so I’m still learning as well, and it’s mostly just him taking the lead.”
Leresa turned to the otherworlder, who felt her face heat up under the scrutiny. “What exactly did you want to ask about? There are many facets to having a relationship.”
“Well… Rexir has some… peculiar tastes when it comes to activities in the bedroom. I’d like to know what to do to tell him to ease up a little.”
Vanessa stared blankly at Leresa, and she felt a rush of experiences come back to her. “If you really love him…” Vanessa started, hugging her knees to her chest in the process, “Then you’ll accept him for whatever kink he has.”
Leresa stared blankly, and gasped. “Are… are you saying I’ll have to do that if I want to be with him!?”
Vanessa’s eyes widened. “Yes, if you do truly love him. Do you think Leo always wanted to torture and tease me for his own pleasure? No. He did it because he loved me, and wanted to make me happy. Not everything in a relationship has to be for your benefit. Sometimes you have to be selfless as well.”
Leresa groaned and buried her face in her hands. “I- I don’t know if I can! I love him so much, but it just seems so outlandish to me that I hesitate whenever he asks!” Vanessa raised her brow, curious, but didn’t let that curiosity out into the world. Instead, she opted to wait for Leresa to say something herself.
After a moment of silence, the princess finally spoke. “He… he wants to take me from behind, like an animal!”
Both Hazeel and Vanessa gave her a lukewarm stare, the two already having been used to that position from early on in their relationship with Leo.
“Was that all?” Hazeel asked, incredulously. However, Leresa looked utterly horrified and disgusted by the thought.
“What do you mean, ‘is that all’!? He sees everything in that position, and even grabs my breasts from behind! It’s so humiliating! Why can’t he just be satisfied with facing each other!?”
Vanessa rolled her eyes. Doggy style didn’t even count as a kink in her world, it was just a position that people often used. “I know what we need!”
Hazeel stood up, and walked into the kitchen. She returned a moment later with a bottle, and three glasses. The wood elf poured the amber liquid in each cup, and then raised her own.
“We should relax a bit, right? Let’s forget about our problems for the night, and let loose!”
