Her call must have been heard by the two pokemon as they turned their head to look at the people who were intruding. Sandshrew seeing kelly was also happy as it came running to her

ran and leapt into her hands as she embraced her. She was even crying as happy tears fell on her cheeks. Sandshrew was also happy to be with his trainer but was also quite wary of the two strangers beside her.

Kelly: "Its okay sandshrew, They are good people. Even though that old grandpa didn't help me in finding you this kind brother helped me" sandshrew visibly relaxed and looked at dean for few seconds before turning back to the pokemon on the field, Dean chuckled hearing her talk about the old man and the old man just had a wry smile on his face. He also looked at the small blue pokemon having spiral-shaped marking on its torso, he recognized it as

'Poliwag' he saw poliwag was angry 'Maybe its because we took away his play partner'. Poliwag started to jump up and down

poliwag suddenly shot a water gun towards Dean who had his hand on kelly's shoulder. He suddenly pushed kelly to side and he jumped in the opposite direction, just as he did a rolled to the side, a small jet of water passed where he stood and hit the pole supporting the swings and water sprayed all over creating a mini shower. After a roll, he stood up immediately and looked back at the damage and was astonished to see a big dent on the iron pole. He also sighed seeing kelly was fine with just some scrapes on her knees.

Dean: 'What a power! Even though its just a water gun it has a lot of power' he checked the aura of the pokemon and was again surprised to see that it was the very dark shade of green with a hint of blue-emitting out of it. 'Strong maybe even stronger than machop'. The old man was also surprised to see the water gun, he put a hand inside his coat but stopped midway as he saw Dean putting his hand up to stop him from doing what he was about to do.

Dean stopped the old man by gesturing with his index finger without even looking back at the person. He quickly took out his Pokeball and called machop

machop came out and looked at the situation and dean was surprised to see the aura around him was darker than last time. Poliwag was surprised by the sudden entry of machop but didn't back down it even challenged machop.

Seeing this Dean also smiled, he looked at the machop who was fired up to battle the water pokemon. Dean started

Dean: "Dash forward and use low kick"

machop dashed forward to cover the distance but halfway through machop was greeted by bubbles spurted out by poliwag which covered machop completely and slowed down its speed. Dean seeing this knew machop's vision was blocked but had to wait for bubbles to clear up.

Old man: 'OH, how is he going to go forward with the battle now?' he thought.

Dean: "Use bide" machop hearing it uses bide as soon as it used, machop was greeted with poliwag's pound. Forelegs of poliwag came crashed down on machop's body pushing machop back for few step. Machop regains its balance after going 4 steps back, Dean could see machop was hurt, there were red marks on his chest.

Old man: 'Good thinking with bide but that poliwag is also not normal as its stronger than other poliwags I've ever seen' thinking he saw kelly was watching the battle with an excited expression.

Dean: "Get close to poliwag quick " he saw poliwag was still in the air after pounding so he ordered him to get close. Machop dashed again and closed some distance, seeing this poliwag became worried and used water gun. Water gun wasn't aimed properly as poliwag panicked a little and it was still in the air but it hit machop's shoulder a little bit.

Dean: "Endure it and use low kick to send it flying" machop gritted his teeth and moved in front of poliwag and gave a powerful low kick to poliwag and directed it upwards. The stored energy from the bide was unleashed in the powerful kick sending poliwag flying in the air, poliwag didn't understand what was going on as it was in the half-conscious state due to kick and flew upwards. Dean seeing this was relieved slightly but knew the battle wasn't over

Dean: "Jump and finish it with karate chop"

machop who was waiting for dean's instruction gave a cry jumped slightly and gave a karate chop to the poliwag's body which was falling having dazed eyes with an open mouth. Karate chop forced the poliwag to land at a distance crashing like a meteor creating a small crater. The dust from the crater settled in few seconds, everyone could see that poliwag was unconscious in a small crater. Dean seeing this became very happy, he looked at Machop who was sitting on the ground appeared little out of breath while flexing his left shoulders wincing a little.

He took an empty Pokeball and threw it at the passed out poliwag. Pokeball hit the pokemon enveloping it, dean watched every shake of the Pokeball intently he sighed only when he heard little ding sound from the Pokeball. He sat down along with machop

Dean: "Good job buddy, now you have another companion" old man picked up the ball passed it to him. Kelly also came running jumping excitedly

Kelly: "Big brother you are so cool. That battle was awesome. Not even my father and uncle can do that" she had stars in her eyes. Oldman and Dean had one thought in their mind

'She definitely has a grudge against her father' they talked there for some time until it was evening. Dean suddenly asked

"Kelly, Shouldn't you be heading home it's getting late"

"Oh shoot! I forgot. Mom will be angry. " Kelly panicked.

"Don't worry just tell her the truth" he smiled.

"All right big brother I will tell my parents that 'The most handsome guy I've ever seen helped me," Kelly said with a smile. Dean just looked at her innocent smile and decided not to correct her

Dean: " Alright just tell me where you live I'll drop you off"

Kelly: " You already did enough brother, I'll go home by myself," she said, " Will I get to meet you, someday". Dean hearing this just wiped her tears in corner of her eyes and said while patting her head

Dean: " Silly girl. of course, we will" Kelly hearing that smiled from ear to ear but she knew there will be a slim chance that they would meet, but the little girl was still happy hearing that. She gave a little peck to his cheek and ran away. Both the old man and Dean watched her running while carrying sandshrew with a smile on their face.

Suddenly out of nowhere, a vine came towards Dean.

Dean: " Oh shit!! Between battling poliwag and kelly I forgot the presence I felt earlier" He dodged the vine only by few inches but he felt another vine coming but didn't have enough time to dodge that. Oddly enough the vine didn't hurt him it just went towards the belt and touched the Pokeball, red light enveloped the pokemon in the bush and sucked it in, after giving 3 shakes Pokeball became still. Dean was dumbfounded by the unexpected situation he looked at the old man who also had an astonished expression.

Old man: "That was unexpected Dean". Dean just grabbed his Pokeball in his hand

Dean: " Who might you be?" he released the pokemon. He saw a pokemon with blue vines covering its entire body except for its eyes, he identified the grass pokemon. Dean crouched down

Dean: "Why did you touch the Pokeball, Tangela?" he lightly inquired.

Tangela just looked at him questioningly and started running cheerfully, hopping around both him and the Oldman.

Old man: " Hahaha I guess Tangela is still child, maybe it was curious when it touched the Pokeball" old man chuckled. Dean just scratched his head and left Tangela to play by itself for some time and looked at the old man.

Dean: "Now let's have a proper talk" he smiled at him. "Lose the disguise Oldman, I know who you are" The old man was a bit shocked that his cover was blown but decided to play dumb

Old man: " You must be confused for someone else Young man" just as he finished talking a vine came out unexpectedly pulling the beard away leaving the stunned man.
