《Pink Mage》The adventures of a hero! Pt.2

Ahh, the hero, the true hero, is now four years old. He will save the world but what fate is placed on his shoulders? Being four years old he was soon to lose everyone he loves, and that annoying brat from his village. There was no way he was going to bring her along with him when this village burns to the ground by an enemy clan, or is overrun by monsters, or… Well anyway, she is not the childhood heroine!
Hmmm, now that he thought of it, a good childhood heroine would be that boobaliscious babe next door. Now she would be a good heroine. Lusty body, nice face, great… uh personality. Yeah, she would be the one he would lead out of the burning village with him….

*Boink!*
“Gah!” The hero screamed as a ball bounced off his head. “Hehe lets play!” Said the little brat said.
“I don’t want to play with you. And stop calling me Hehe! It sounds like you’re laughing.” Said Hehe.
“Hehehehehe, but Hehe is Hehe, who else would Hehe be?” Said the little brat.
“I’m not Hehe, I’m the hero! I’ll eventually lose everyone I love or care about so you should definitely stay away from me!” Said Hehe. *Boink* the ball bounced off of Hehe’s head again. He had an awfully slow reaction speed for a child of his age. He also developed Chuuni a little early for his age as well…
“Hehe is so funny, come play with me!” Said the precocious little girl. She was cute for her age and was often pursued by guys one and a half times her age… (Just to be clear that means 6 yo, she is pursued by a 6 yo that has a crush on her...) she is cute active and intelligent (For a 4 yo). All in all a lovely little girl that can have a pick of any other guy her age (Not that she knows what that means, or what the old bats are hinting at).

“You want to play hu? Fine then we will play dragon and princess, I will be the dragon so you better run little princess, Rawr!” Said Hehe.
Hehe chased after the little brat as he chased her through the village. The village was massive for a village at least. Hehe had originally thought that he could make a fortune by creating advanced technology for these primitives. He was wrong. While technology would be useful, powerful people, singular, were equivalent to their technological successors or better. A single farmer could replace an entire farm back home. A single worker could replace the entire factory. Coppersmiths and seamstresses could make things made to order nearly instantly as far as the hero was concerned. There just really wasn’t all that much place for technology.
So the hero was just focused on growing up and growing into his legacy. He was sure at any time he would trip and fall into a dungeon and gain mystic powers. Or he would find an old ring and gain the powers from his new master. Mostly because he didn’t like his current one. Or maybe, he didn’t know, guns and mecha, and stuff! He was really just bored. It had been four years and nothing exciting had happened. His parents weren’t wealthy former adventurers that had retired to raise kids. They weren’t the offcast royalty on the run from some major clan that was after them. He wasn’t adopted. He really wanted to forget that painful memory. Literally and figuratively in all ways.
Soon the hero was called back, it was time for him to learn from his master. “Parson, it’s time to learn to read and write. You should also study math as well. Maybe we could teach you how to count, and finally forget about that zero nonsense you keep talking about.” Said the hero’s current master. They were beautiful, young and friendly. They were also male, which was the problem that the hero, Parson had with them.

“Coming!” Screamed Parson. He hid his head behind his hands as the brat tossed a ball at it. She puffed her cheeks and pouted. She never got enough playing with Parson before somebody inevitably called him away for this and that. And he wasn’t like the other kids, so mature, and yet more childish. He was just more than they were. She really liked him. And he didn’t make fun of him like that annoying older kid did. She hated that six yo.
“Percila you come over here too! Don’t think you can get out of learning to read and write either!” Said the tutor. He was the teacher for the village and was paid by the village chief. It was also his class, so it was best that he do so as well. Though like everybody else he still had to fight monsters to level. The tutor didn’t mind, he met many a single mom by tutoring their kids…

Pason’s mom watched as he played with his little friend. She was so happy to see him play like a normal kid.
“Oh, how is our little reincarnater doing?” said Percila’s mom.
“Oh, same old same old, kukuku...” Said Parson’s mom.
“So oblivious to the fact that you knew from before the moment he was born. And don’t laugh like that it makes you sound evil.” Said Percila’s mom.
“Oh, but I am evil? I am the bane of his existance! I make him do chores, and play with all the little girls he doesn’t like in hopes he will bring one or two home and give me gran babies faster.” Said Parson’s mom.
“Really? What is he? Four years and a half season’s old? And you already want him to bring you gran babies? How old are you!” Said Percila’s mom.
“Hey, I’m younger then you are! Don’t give me that. I’m just glad that he finally stopped making it awkward between us after I stopped having to breast feed him. I mean I’m glad he thinks mommy is pretty and all but it would be so awkward in the future is if he loved his mommy too much...” Said Parson’s mom.
And why does it seem like you aren’t that worried about it? Thought Percila’s mother. But awkward mother complexes and complex family issues aside they weren’t a concern. “So you did get rid of his reincarnater luck right?” Said Percila’s mom.
“Oh, ages ago. He still has more then the average person, but no calamity causing hero luck. The [Witch] actually still owes me favors from it. You don’t get to take on that much luck and just walk away. However, I’m still thinking on what I want. Maybe a pendant that will protect him and give him fertility and luck with women?” Said Parson’s mom… still not done with her baby craze.
“I think I’m still worried about my Percila, just that the worry itself seems to have changed. Really, you don’t care do you? Whatever, just keep me and Percila out of it. We have enough trouble as it is. After all, we retired from adventuring to get the quiet life. Do you know how many times we had to kill spies from our enemy clan as they tried to snatch Percila away? It’s good that father emperor kept all those guards around us this whole time.” Said Percila’s mom, and her cliche starter hero background...

The Nomad: A Starforged ttrpg Playthrough
Life in The Forge is rarely fun, least of all when you've got an AI that wants to turn you over to the authorities, a stolen ship full of creepy cult shit, and you've pissed off the only guy in the Devil's Helix who doesn't want you dead through sheer incompetence. Unfortunately for Ash, worst courier in the helix, that's his day-to-day. When he gets offered an opportunity to get back into this boss's good graces (and finally get something decent to eat), Ash jumps at the chance, even if that means getting tangled back up with figures he'd rather leave in the past. This is a solo play log of Shawn Tomkin's ttrpg Starforged, as such, even I don't know what's going to happen next! Enjoy the ride!

A New Beginning
Humans don't understand how someone can be both dead and alive, and that fact scares them, it opens up the possibility of a threat even if there is no evidence of malevolent intent. So, the only solution in the minds of humanity is to dominate and subjugate the unknown variable until it no longer has even the potential to be a threat. They choose to pretend that the unknown variable is lesser, that humanity is superior on no other grounds than that it's humanity. Broken, beaten, and none the wiser of the greater majority of humans, the humans with kindness in their eyes and light in their souls. He's been trapped in the darkness of greed and fear and violence for far too long, and what's left behind is a fractured mind and a trained weapon. Buried underneath that, however, is a young child who is scared and confused, a child that hasn't seen the light of day in years. That child never expected to see the bright side to existence, to see the light shine in the souls of the righteous. That all changed with one group of heroes, and one family of Bats.Cover doesn't belong to me.Cross-published on two other sites*Undergoing heavy editing, nothing plot-wise is changing, I am only editing grammar, mechanics, vocabulary, sentence variation, and formatting and overall I am just making it a more pleasant and refined read :) I am also deleting the A/Ns at the beginning and end of each chapter
