《Pink Mage》52, You buy a giant boat, overcompensation doesn't even begin to describe it now.

After lunch the ones that succeeded and the ones that failed became obvious. Many of the silk pants were on the ground clutching their stomachs. Of course, the guy with the skull mushrooms was more than happy to share. So he had donated to almost all of their cook pots. He even had his ‘Special Mushroom’ that was in the literal shape of a skull and was attached to two bones. He even said it was too ‘spicy’, so much so that usually he was the only one that could eat it in his village. But he was more then happy to share with his new friends.
The silk pants that took that were still excreting things from all three orifices, as well as sweating up a storm. The dudes comment of “Spicy isn’t it?” was like a signal. There was a pregnant pause to the field. Then the silk pants ordered a beatdown. And all the ones that could move attacked at once.
It was hilarious and everyone not involved fell over laughing. Of course the silk pants didn’t like being the butt end of a joke. So they ordered that all those laughing at them get a beatdown as well. This did not go how they had planned however. They soon found themselves on the receiving end of a beatdown. A couple of the silk pants were tied up and beaten like a pinata. This of course did not stop their diarrhea. You did not want whatever came out of this pinata.
Eventually the instructors put a stop to it. But that was only after they themselves had stopped laughing, and before anything was taken ‘too far’. If you consider getting almost poisoned to death and then strung up and beaten not ‘to far’.
The silk pants of course complained to the teachers, stating things like “Do something, I don’t pay you to stand around!” or the classic “When my [Parent] hears about this, you’ll be sorry!” or even “I’ll have your job for this!”. Of course this fell on deaf ears. So deaf, that the particularly vehement ones were then strung back up and beaten while the instructors ignored them. They stated that the class needed stress relief and they were it.

Gathering up the functioning members of the class the instructors said “Alright enough of that, it’s time for the next part of your mission. You need to set up a camp. This time we will make it easy, just set up fortifications for the entire troop. If we were going to be out here for any amount of time we need to have a camp set up. Dungeon or crawl would need the same thing but with special structures fortifications and enchantments. If you can get it, formations too. So set something up that could protect us from low rank beasts in a horde or at least a wave.”
After clapping their hands and setting the students to work they went back to loafing around. Their wasn’t much to do. Micky of course wasn’t that useful, but Squishy got to work. There were plenty of things that she could do if she put her body into it. Of course all these people wanted it for its body, its so vexing to be young and beautiful.
Prin also got to work. She would dig pits for the trees sliced down to be put into. Micky would buff people with either [Enrage] or [Accelerate] in order help the work effort. He spent most of his time going around and buffing. Oddly enough the healers were the least useful. Some of them had the ability to replenish stamina but most were just loafing. When asked to do work they screamed that they were healers and were better suited to waiting for an emergency. Of course when the one guy did sprain his ankle the healers told him to walk it off. An instructor came over and told him he was exempt from training for a bit till one of the healers got to it… which it seemed they weren’t going to do.
At least the druidic healer seemed to be pulling his weight. He was healing with the plants and would grow vines to weave around and tie together the logs that were used to build a simple palisade wall.
The fortifications came together rather quickly and the class was proud of their work. Yes the whole class, including the silk pants and the healers.

It was soon time to go back to the town and the class had to put the weight back on and march home. Oddly Micky was able to keep a walking pace this time and didn’t have to crawl. Of course he wasn’t any faster now, but he was able to keep himself up better, and was only badly beaten and not passed out when they arrived back at the guild.
They didn’t fight the phantasmals again but there were always more wolves and slimes. There was also a goblin den, though this one was thankfully empty. It was likely that the guild specifically took the class to clear out the goblins. It seemed that there were more extermination missions for goblins recently after the incident.
After Micky finished he returned to the inn. He had a lot of things to go over. Of course, he also had a lot of things on his mind as well. He went over the list of instructors he had. There wasn’t just alchemy, there was everything from enchanting to blacksmithing to thatching. Micky of course, would take all of the professions instructions to get a basic understanding of them. However he would focus on the battle centric professions like alchemy, enchanting, and blacksmithing.
These would be good for every day life even beyond the bounds of adventuring and his coming noble schooling. He would only get a basic understanding of them of course, he did not expect to become an expert in all of them, that would be ridiculous. But he did figure that if he was exposed to them, he could understand them. And if he understood them then he could better understand what they produced later. Things like blacksmithing, and alchemy were quintessential for adventuring. And while enchanting was seen as a luxury, if he wanted to go far he would need to deck himself out in enchanted gear.
Micky heard Prin enter her room as he was musing over his choices and were he was going to rent a house. While he didn’t want to admit it those assholes had a point. He needed to get a bigger place if he was going to have more allies, and staying long term at an inn would not be conducive for it unless he was staying by himself.
Micky found it odd that Prin went to her own room though. They had been staying together since they were abducted, and Micky wasn’t sure he was ready to spend the night alone again. That was until he heard the moans and the smacking of lips. Then he heard a slap. Prin moaned at that.
Micky of course, didn’t want to be a perve to his best friend. So he pretended to focus on what he was doing, while he listened to the sounds coming from the other room. Of course there was nobody watching his ever day life to judge him, but Micky was judgy of himself anyway.
Another smack and another moan from Prin. Then he heard her jump into her bed. “Come on, it’s been way too long!” She said.
“Alright, alright, geez. Your way to fast for me. I usually like a little bit of foreplay. After all, I have to get it up first before I stick it in or nobody’s going to be happy!” Her new bo said. Micky knew that voice. It was one of the adventurers that stayed in the inn. He was a twenty something, possibly thirty something. Apparently Prin liked it older.
“Oh come on. Just bring that tasty thing over here and I’ll get it up for you.” Prin said. At this point Micky didn’t think he could listen anymore. At least not without doing something of his own or trying to peep through the holes in the wall. And with them both being adventurers he didn’t think he wouldn’t be caught. So he went downstairs to the pub.
After a few hours, and Micky was pretty sure it was safe, he went back up to his room. There he found a passed out Prin in his bed. Micky went over to Prin’s room since he had the key. But inside was a passed out adventurer. Micky decided that the corner hadn’t been so bad last night and curled up.

Cultivating Earth [Hiatus]
[This fiction is on indefinite hiatus. I'm currently acting as a 24-hour caregiver for my step-father who had a massive heart attack. I apologize for disappearing so quickly, but sometimes that's just life. I'll return as soon as possible. Sorry everyone!] Zhao Gang, after hundreds of thousands of years cultivating, has finally reached the penultimate threshold. He is ready to ascend to the level of True Immortal. Driven by the need for a place his enemies won't find him, Zhao Gang puts together an audacious plan. He has developed a revolutionary new formation which will allow him to ascend while on even the lowest planes. To avoid drawing attention, he has to choose a plane that is relatively desolate, however. He chooses Earth. Fast forward three thousand years. Zhao Gang discovers what his work has wrought - a cultivation-free culture that has delved the deep mysteries of creation - he can't help but think how this tiny little planet devoid of natural energy could affect the course of all creation. There's only one problem. For that to happen, he has to succeed in cultivating Earth. Notes: Chinese names should be ignored in the social context - they don't mean anything. Sorry for slaughtering such a beautiful tradition. This novel starts off slower than most. If the slow-roll isn't your thing, you might want to give this a pass. If it's not for you, I understand. Also, releases may be broken up into smaller chunks. The goal is 5k words, but definitely more than 4k. If you see a short release, be aware that more is probably coming. I'll be honest and say that I'm struggling with each new scene, if only because I want to balance the scope of vision with good pacing. I hope the work I put into it is worthwhile.
