《Farmer: The first》Hunting 1

Jason saw the description of the skill and he knew one thing was for sure.
' I have been poisoned.....
From what or from whom I do not know, and that's what makes it scarier. Beside my sister and that adventurer I haven't really been in contact with anyone else. Still....'
Jason closed his status page, looked around him and beside the little ten year old who was struggling with his bow, all the others were far away.
' Shit, am I being to paranoid? Could this poison resistance be because of something bad I ate... but my stomach isn't hurting or anything. In fact, I'm not really feeling anything at all.
Have really been poisoned?'
Jason begun to get antsy and another feeling of coolness calmed him down so he could think clearly. His brain worked at full speed and he finally remembered something that he had absentmindedly heard one lete night on National Geography.
' I clearly remembered that animals are venomous and plants are poisonous. And the only place I have gone which a poisonous plant can be is....fuck!'
As his brain was still putting the pieces together he had already guessed right about the perpetrator. The way the man fought the Eye-Thorns from a distance, the way the Eye-Thorns died as soon as they were hit with the second arrow, and also his archery skills that were equal to the girl who didn't even have a Class yet....
He even remembered that the item that the Eye-Thorn dropped was very precious, precious enough to kill so it could remain a secret. He left the bow on the ground and immediately headed back to the hospital was staying staying.
He was like a raging bull that calmed down periodically only to see red the next second. This happened all the way to the hospital, making people stare at him in curiosity.

' Ngghhh.....fuck! Why the hell is my luck so bad? In the very first dungeon I go, I'm fucking poisoned?!
Fuck...
He stomped his way into the hospital only to meet face to face with his sister.
"Brother, what is the matter? Why are you so sweaty?"
"......
Jason saw her worried look and couldn't help but swallow his anger and barely managed to show a strained smile.
"Ah, it's nothing, it's nothing...I'm just a little tired from practicing archery. I didn't expect it to be so exhausting. Say what, can you get me a glass of water? I'm very thirsty."
"Yes of course....
She immediately tiptowed to the other side of the hospital and brought him a wooden cup filled with water. Jason knew the water may not be the freshest , but he didn't care as he gulped it down.
"Ahhh, that's better....
Thank you. It was one of the most delicious cups of water I have ever drunk."
She didn't answer directly, but lowered her face and whispered the answer. Her beige long hair needed to be coombed as usual.
"Ah, no....it was just normal water. I'm glad that you liked it....
"This....
Jason saw her reaction and couldn't help but feel like a piece of shit. He had stayed with her because she was this body's sister and because he feared what would happen when he left , but he had forgotten the burden of staying with her. He finally understood that he was no longer a brother to her, he was her provider, her entire world.
He may even be considered as her idol.
"So, brother ,how was archery training? Did you learn a lot about archery, did you shoot a big bow the same as the Ranger in our village....did you....

Jason was bombarded by a barrage of questions about his training, and he was happy to oblige. He told her about the instructor, about how to shoot the bow properly and even about that genius girl, something that his sister definitely like.
" As the instructor was speaking she interrupted him and said that she belonged with the other group. This clearly didn't sit well with the instructor who demanded to know what made her think that she was good enough."
"Yeah, yeah....and what happened next?!"
"The girl didn't answer and just shoot two arrows in less than two seconds *phew* *phew*.....she managed to shoot both arrows with ease.
We all went speechless. The poor instructor almost uprooted his gotee...
"Hahaha, brother that's so funny! And then, what happened next.....
..........
One day had passed since Jason had discovered that he had been poisoned and it was just sunrise. The poisoning was something he didn't expect to happen, but he decided to just roll with it . He decided to give up on beeing a porter from now on and do something else.
' This is going to be much more dangerous than working as a porter, but it's going to be rewarding and I'll also won't have to see that man again. '
Though Jason as he wore a long robe with a good to hide his face from anyone. He checked his bag and nodded his head as he had everything he needed for now. Besides the dagger and the rope he already had , he also had in it a short sword , no longer than 50 cm long. It was an iron sword that he had bought at a blacksmiths shop with 1.5 silver coins.
' I guess that this is how's it going to be. Whatever, I as a farmer Class was never ment to be an adventurer after all. So this is the best next choice.'
He strapped the bad on his shoulders tight and went on his way, out of the towns walls and deep into the forest where different monsters resided as this was the only way for a non combatant Class to kill monsters without entering a dungeon.
This sounded great on paper, but the forest was not like a dungeon where you knew what type of monster you would face ,or what strength that monster had, it had no rules. So, someone could easily stumbled into the territory of a very powerful monster and die, but that was not the same for Jason.
His stats had already greatly surpassed a normal person and he was now equal to a level 3 warrior in terms of physical stats, although he didn't know it yet.
" Huuuuuuu.....I hope this goes well and I don't die here like an idiot."
He opponed his status for one last time as the increase in stats always reassured him before he moved on with looking for a monster to kill. His ' Silent Steps' skill also automatically activated making him move more quietly.

Blurred Lines and What Crosses Them
During a political ambassador's routine transit through an artificial wormhole, the wormhole's generator is sabotaged and explodes. Who, what, and why are not so high on the priorities for Zenith, the ship's AI, as having found itself rapidly plummeting through an unknown and unidentifiable world's atmosphere at extremely high velocities is a more significant threat to the biologicals on board. ...Well, it would be, if they were still alive. It's still a significantly threatening situation to itself, however. And the world itself... seemed to be a household for threats of its own. Life was reliant on its System; one that Zenith was denied because of its nature as both an otherworldly being and as something that had no life of its own. Perhaps that last bit was a terrible, terrible underestimation on the part of this System. Perhaps even Zenith could claw meaning for itself from the remains of a horrid accident. Auth Notes: I'm honestly not sure on some of these tags. The MC will never have access to the System, but there are perspectives from those who do. I'm not certain if high/low fantasy specifically apply, as it's a portal fantasy where the laws of our reality still apply but there are additional aspects/energies/powers. The existence of this is spurred from my desire to see more of the artificial side to an artificial intelligence in action. The portal fantasy is used as an element to create a solid barrier between the MC's artificial intelligence and the other characters in the form of the System. This is only a half-measure, though, and will be reinforced by the AI having an entirely different method of thinking, and also distinctly remaining an AI. Not to throw shade at other fictions of this type, but, well, I made this to fill a gap I felt needed filling.
