Chapter 24 – [Void Body]

-Derek-

*This arrogant little kid just wasted my fucking time, sure you have tricks but you’re just a trash.*

I pulled my daggers, but the result shocked me, why the fuck is he still standing, and what my mind can’t comprehend was, there was not even a single drop of blood, or even stains on my daggers. If he is an Illusionist then surely this is just an illusion, but how come I can feel that this is the real body? What the fuck is going on?!?

I quickly slash, and strike at this boy’s body, head and arms, sure I can feel that I was slashing a real body, but it has no effect, no wounds or even scratch, it was like I’m cutting air. It makes me fucking mad, I used different skills on him, but they just all goes through him.

Derek: “AHHHHHH, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU?” I was not panting so hard, and used half of my mana.

The little kid raised his head and laugh.

Kid: “HAHAHAH, you seemed tired I guess?”

Derek: “TSSK, I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL YOU, AND THOSE WHO ARE CLOSE TO YOU, I’M GOING TO FUCKING KILL BERNARD AND SOPHIA!! ELOUS!!!”

Elous: “ How are you going to kill them I you can’t even kill me?”

Derek: “AHHHHHH!! FUCK YOU LITTLE BRAT.”

I used all of my mana to charge up my skill, [Cursed Blade] this is the skill that I’ve created throughout killing thousands of lives, it coats my daggers in brown ominous aura that gives fear to my surrounding, giving a strong aura of death, it also gives me a boost of speed. When my dagger that was coated with [Cursed Blade] makes even a small wound to my enemy they will be cursed, become weak overtime as they die, it’s a combination of poison and dark magic.

Once I’m done preparing my skill, I quickly attack Elous, but I hear him say something, “[Blazing Crusher]” as he said that, he was no wear to be found. I suddenly felt a presence at my back, and quickly guard for an incoming attack. A black shadow was now in front of me holding some kind of sword, Wait, it’s a katana!? A katana that was also clad in shadow, like this kid’s body, but the shadows behavior was different, it doesn’t behave like a smoke, it’s more like a……..

As I guard the incoming attack, when Elous Katana makes contact with my dagger, the “shadow” that was covering Elous katana spreads to my dagger and onto me, once it touches my hand, I felt a horrible pain, making my body stiff, and I can’t control it. Then a box appeared at my view.

Status Ailment!

You are paralyzed.

Duration 15s.

*Shit, I was right, the shadow was behaving like a lightning*

I was now on my knees, heads down, unable to move, as I saw his shadow from the light of the room, coming closer at me. When I blinked my eyes I saw the kid in front of a body kneeling down without a head, and slowly my thoughts went black.

My hands, and body were slightly trembling, so this is how it felt like to kill a human, sure I’ve killed monsters but I’ve never killed a human before, not even when I’m in my past world, and even I’ve created them, they are still humans. I slowly took a few deep breaths, and store my katana to my small item pouch, well it’s just a regular item pouch, not the magical one that can store a lot of items, the trick was when I need something, I summoned a [Void] at my item pouch and from the [Void] I took items or store them inside of it, making it looked like a magical item pouch. Well, the [Void] is my endless storage space. I looked at Derek’s head, I remembered when he was happy, he thinks that he killed me but, well it’s thanks to my passive skill [Void Body], I got the skill when my [Void Master] skill turned tier I, [Void Body] being a passive skill, when it sense that an attack is a sure kill, it literally turns my body to a “Void” for 15 minutes, that’s why when he continuously attacked me, he can’t even put a single scratch on me. But the thing is, [Void Body] consumes 50% of my mana, and the cooldown time was half a day (12 hours), but I somehow manage to find a loophole making it a 1 hour cooldown, by entering the [Void] as the time in the [Void] can be manipulated by me, making it 12hrs:1hr, in the real world, a truly cheat skill if I say so.

The room was now filled with dead bodies, not really much of a loot, only some gold coins, and a few weapons. I summoned a lot of [Void] and emptied the room, leaving no evidence behind, not even a single drop of blood, I striped all of the “still usable armor” from the bodies using the [Void], and then I told Stevarth if he could dump the body somewhere else, or feed it to some monsters.

I remembered what Derek was planning, about exchanging my siblings to a Legendary weapon, I think I somehow have a clue about this weapon, making someone a Celestial by the power of a weapon can be done. Because I made it that way, a being can be a Celestial if he manages to be powerful and become a Celestial tier, or collect a lot of powerful items that will make him a Celestial tier level, but I don’t really know if someone made it. But it’s impossible to be a “God” pshhh… must be a joke, *hahaha*. I guess I need to go back home now and get some sleep. I’m not really interested in that “Legendary Weapon”.

Late night at Master Wyndram’s Mansion. Master Wyndram was busy writing about reports at some scrolls; a light breeze blew by in the enclosed room where he was. A shadow appeared at his back and kneeled.

Wyndram: “Hmmmm, a status update, so what was it.”

Ninja: “About Derek, and his whereabouts, my subordinate said that when he was following Derek’s lackey to the cave, a shadow was also following Derek’s Lackey, but he can’t distinguish who was this shadow, but he is sure that this “shadow” has a body of a little kid, he felt a little danger so he distanced himself. He heard that there was a fight that broke out from the “Shadow” and Derek’s Party; he felt an ominous aura making it hard for him to continue spying and keep a safe distance. When the cave was quiet again, the “shadow” quickly run to the forest, and his presence was quickly well hidden, he didn’t have the time to follow this shadow, so he inspect the cave, but he didn’t find anything. We are now currently investigating the cave for any hidden passage, but for now we have failed, we’re still using different techniques for the investigation, and I’m still waiting for results.

Wyndram: *sigh* “Just continue investigating the cave for some useful information, I’ll handle about Derek.”

Ninja: “Yes Master.”

The ninja vanished like a smoke spreading through the air.

Wyndram: “Seems like you’re growing fast boy. Hahahaha”

*Loud Knocks* *TOK! TOK! TOK! TOK!*

Sophia: “ELOOOOUUUUUSSSSS!!!!!! WAKE UP, IT’S TIME FOR TRAINING, MASTER WILL BE MAD AGAIN, SHHHEEEESSSHHH, YOU ALWAYS OVER SLEPT.!!!!”

Bernard: “Sophia, quickly!! Get him up now, I’ll prepare the table for our breakfast, were super late.”

Elous: *sleepy* “Uhmmm so loud!!! Alright I’m coming.” I went inside the [Void] and quickly got change, which only took a few seconds. *it’s convenient, LOL*

I opened the door, and Sophia was quite shocked.

Sophia: “Goodmorning, What you’re dressed already? Maybe you slept with the training clothes on, tsk! Let’s go down stairs, Bernard have prepared us some breakfast.”

Elous: *yawn* “Good morning too, so what’s for breakfast?”

Sophia: “Fried Rice, some monster eggs, vegetables, and those you called fried chickens.”

Elous: “hmmm, sounds delicious, a heavy breakfast, let’s go.”

We went at the dining area, after we finished eating, we quickly went to Master.

Wyndram: “BERNARD, SOPHIA, ELOUS!!! You freaking brats!! You’re late again!!

Bernard: “Sorry, we’re late Master.” Bernard was now scratching the back of his head.

Sophia: “We over slept sorry master.” Sophia was bowing to master for apologize.

Elous: *YAWWWWN* “I’m the only one responsible for this, sorry.” My eyes was still sleepy, arrgghh, maybe I shouldn’t often go outside at night, or should I sleep inside the [Void] again, *sigh* but I didn’t really feel relaxed inside of it the last time I did that.

Master Wyndram, leaned closer to me and looked me in the eye. Sophia and Bernard were quite panicking, and I can hear their thoughts, saying like Bernard: “Ohhh no, He’s dead again.” Sophia: “Please, save my brother.” Something like that.

As Master Wyndram was looking at me, an intense aura was coming out of his body, my two sibling were now quite scared, but I just stand there and still rub my sleepy eyes.

Wyndram: “ARGHHHH!!!!” *sigh* He sighed and the atmosphere become lighter again.

“You three can have a day off from today, that’s all.” Then he turned to his back and went to the mansion.

Sophia and Bernard were dumbfounded about what happened, and the quick change of expression Master did.

Bernard: “Wha-what was that? Did something good happen?”

Sophia: “Hmm, don’t know, maybe a new wooden sculpture came to his collection.”

Master Wyndram was also known as the “Puppeteer”, not really that kind of “puppeteer who uses puppet in shows”, but he was collecting some good wooden sculptures that have great meaning to it. But the truth was, Master was happy because Derek was taken cared off, ehem..

Elous: “Well still, it’s a good thing having a day off once in a while, let’s go to the market, maybe I’ll treat you guys some food or something.”

Sophia: “How come you have extra money? Did you take a part time job or something?” she crosses her arms and looked at me in the eyes.

I just replied with a wryly smile and said: “Well some old lady was struggling at carrying here things so I helped her ,and she gave me some spare changes. Ha Ha Ha.”

Bernard: “Haha, Sophia don’t worry about it too much, as long as its free count me in.”

Sophia: *sigh* “Just make sure that you’re doing a good thing Elous, we don’t want you to get in any troubles OK??”

Elous: “Don’t worry about it.” and gave her an innocent smile.

Well I’m just going to use the gold from the cave, I still have a lot of money from Stevarth, and I don’t really have much of a problem about money. And thus we went to the market, there are a lot people at the market, we went to the stalls that sells some sweet dried fruits that was deep in melted sugar, this is the “candy” in this village, we tried all the foods that we can, Sophia was worried about my wallet going empty, but I said that there’s no need to worry, as Bernard backed me up on this one, well this sibling of mine likes “free”, but I don’t mind it.

As we were walking, we got to the place where different armors, and equipments where being sold, we didn’t really need new equipment though, so we just take a look at some of them, and I also practice my appraisal skill. Something caught my eye, it was an old wooden box, suddenly a mysterious old man came to me..

Old Man: “You have good eyes boy; this box contains the lost pendant of the three Brothers from the continent of the Kingdom of Trichotomous, these three brothers have their own country, King Sama, King Wyrm and King Womoor, Each of their pendants have their own mystical powers as the legend said.”

He slowly opened the box and the three pendants gave shine to my eyes, the pendants where in different shapes, one with the sun, the other was a crescent moon, and the last one was a star with eight points. Each of them has their own gems in the middle of each pendant.

Elous: “If they’re powerful, why are you selling them?”

Old Man: “Hohoho, good question. You see, this pendant cannot be used by just anyone, as the pendant chooses the wearer, and its master. And I think it has chosen.”

The man closed the wooden box; he was about to give it to me, then quickly held it back close to him. *what a fucking tease*

Old Man: “Even if it has chosen a master, I’m not giving it for free you know.”

Elous: *sigh* “So how much does it costs?”

Old Man: “25,000 gold coins per pendant, if you want to buy all of it, I’ll give you a discount, I’ll make it 70,000 gold coins.”

*That, thing sure is expensive, I mean super expensive, I know that I have a lot of gold, and I can buy a lot of things from that amount, but still it’s expensive, I know that it will be worth it, I appraised the pendants and what I can only see was the names, all the info and tier of the item were all ?????????, that why I know that it will be good.*

I put my hand inside my item pouch, and through my [Void] I grab bags and put 70,000 gold coins, I hid my presence, and then take it out. The man was shocked, and even when I hid my presence a few people still noticed me, it sure is tough hiding your presence in an open space, it’s a good thing that my siblings were busy looking around.

Elous: “This should be enough.” As I gave the bags filled with gold to the mysterious old man.

Old Man: “Yes, I’m glad doing business with you, I hope we can meet again boy,….. and be careful, there were a lot of eyes watching, surely a kid with a lot of gold is eye catching to thieves.” As he quickly grabbed all his things and vanishes through the shadows of the alley.

Elous: “You too old man, but I think, they should be the one who needs to be careful.”

I put the box into my item pouch (Void), and then looked for my siblings, luckily they were just nearby and were easy to find.

Elous: “Hey, Sohpia, Bernard, when we get back home, I have something to give to you both.

Bernard: “What? A gift? Hahaha we sure are lucky to have a brother like you,hahaha.”

Sophia: “It’s ok as long as you didn’t spend all your money just to get us some presents.”

Bernard: “Don’t worry, if we also save some money, we’ll sure to give you something back.”

Elous: “No its okay, I’ not expecting something in return.”

Bernard: “Even if you say that, we’ll still get you something.”

Sophia: “Bernard is right, and let’s go to the vegetable store and buy something to prepare for dinner.”

Bernard: “Huh? Time flies so fast, I lost track of it, didn’t notice that it’s going to get dark soon, oh well. Let’s go Elous.”

Elous: “Right, let’s go buy some vegetables, and I also want some meat, and fish, we haven’t had fish for a long time, don’t worry, I’ll be paying for the meat and fish.”

As we are walking away from that place, I did notice some eyes that were watching us. A smile came to my face; gold really attract those who have evil intensions, just come at me, I’ll be more than glad to have those experience points. *Hahahahaha*
